This is a great library with lots of resources on offer for free which is great news for anyone on an economy drive. It's on the first floor but fear not as there's a lift as well as stairs to get you there.
There is a great feeling of community to this place as the entrance hall walls are jammed with flyers about community groups and clubs which is nice to see. The library also lends its premises to some of these groups for their meetings and I have to confess to having attending Weight Watchers here!
As well as the usual books, audio books and free use of PCs on offer, this library has a few added extras which I think are absolute gems. There is a reading and book discussion goup for kids and also a book club for adults. Oh and free newspapers and magazines too. The library is always warm and cosy and I can think of much worse places to while away a few hours in the winter for free.
And finally, the lovely staff don't make a fuss when your books are 3 months overdue. Thank you ladies! read more
