We were told multiple times the car would be ready "in an hour," but after waiting for hours, we left and were promised delivery--which didn't happen. The next day, the car still wasn't properly prepped: it wasn't washed or detailed, and the ResistAll we paid for hadn't been applied. Disappointing experience overall compared to our past visits. That said, I do want to recognize the positives. Daniel in finance worked hard to get us to a number we were comfortable with, and Gary caught details that saved us nearly $700 in registration fees. A special thank you to Cooper, who took initiative to resolve our issues and concerns and truly turned the experience around--he treated us like family, made sure the car was fully detailed with the ResistAll applied, and personally delivered the car to our home. It's because of these individuals that I decided to change my original 1 star rating to a 5 star rating.

I will say my credit is not the best, but almost three days and over 25 inquries on my credit is ridiculous. Come to find out a week after I bought the truck, the automatic passenger running board stopped working after binding and making a griding noise for about 4 or 5 cycles. I ended up just taking the running boards off because it is a used vehicle and the extended warranty that i paid thousands for conveniently didn't cover it. The last straw was when I took the vehicle to the local dealership to have recall work done, just to find out the metal key that detaches to unlock the spare tire lock and driver door is for a different vehicle. Since the spare has to come out for the module replacement for the recall, it could not be done. When I spoke to Jacob, the salesman who ghosted me as soon as I found issues with the truck, he said his manager would call me and address the issue. This was after the used car manager said im out if luck because it was a used car sold as is. I have called Jacob 3 more times over the past week and have not heard an answer from anyone.They sold me a vehicle with the wrong key, and apparently that is my problem now according to the used car manager. I am contacting the Califonia Department of Consumer Affairs, the BBB, and the Bureau of Automotive Repair over this. You would think after you were sold a vehicle with the incorrect key, they would fix it, but instead I have been blown off. The staff at this dealership dont care about their customers once the sale is made. DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE!!! The vehicle I bought is defective and has many problems. It's a nightmare! And the worst part is that they make promises they never keep. There's absolutely no transparency! And it seems that if those running this business aren't capable of solving problems, what will the others be like? The vehicle has already left me stranded on the street three times. I've spent over $1300 out of my own pocket and haven't been able to fix it. The vehicle has transmission problems, the disc brakes don't work, the TRD is damaged, and it's illegal to sell a vehicle like this. The transmission fluid is contaminated, the brake fluid is contaminated (this was the only thing the dealer changed). Everything else is useless. And I'm losing thousands of dollars. I hope you're not the next victim. I call and leave messages, but they don't answer my calls. I've been to the dealer more than 6 times and the only thing they corrected was the brake fluid change. Today, March 25, 2026, I was informed that they would refund my money, but that they would not reimburse me for any of the funds I had spent on repairs and maintenance for the vehicle. I have purchased no fewer than 14 vehicles--both new and used--from this dealership. There is absolutely no transparency left, and not only that, but they also informed me that they would no longer sell me any vehicles--despite knowing full well that the vehicle I purchased suffers from numerous serious defects. This dealership should be investigated for endangering human lives by selling vehicles with such serious flaws--defects that could potentially lead to a fatal accident. Bill Wright Toyota should change its policy regarding used vehicles--specifically, it needs to thoroughly inspect its used cars before selling them to the public. Sammy Jarrar, a manager at Bill Wright Toyota, should be disciplined for treating customers inhumanely and for failing to be more transparent.

I paid $5,500.00 as a down payment, kept my monthly payments and still had issues with the vehicle having to replace the catalytic converters, repeatedly purchase new tires due to a bad alignment that couldn't be fixed without further work being done to the front end of the vehicle. Fast forward, less than a year later and more than $3,000 out of my pocket in maintenance and repairs, the engine blew. I asked the dealership if they could either help with the repairs, trade out the vehicle, or zero out the remaining balance of just over $3,000. They told me no because "they didn't have any vehicles coming in at that time". I took my records in showing how much money I put into the vehicle and like an idiot, left them on the desk. When I called to ask for them, they didn't know where the documents were so I was unable to send copies to the lender. I now have a repossession on my record and am without a vehicle. This place was so scandalous and I'm just hurt that they would do that to somebody. Just be careful when purchasing a vehicle from them.

I've been…read morelooking for a car for a few months now and I decided to check their site because I used to live in the neighborhood across the street. I was interested in a Honda Fit at about $7k. The site said it had a clear title, but first thing I am told is it's a salvage and I wouldn't be able to finance it. I already didn't want it after hearing it's salvaged, but it was disappointing to come all that way when they could have filled out the info correctly on the site. ‍ I then was told which cars could be financed, so I checked out the Toyota Matrix they have (and they still have both of these cars). I test drove it, it seemed okay, but my sister was in the passenger seat and when she closed her door she noticed an odd sound as if it had been damaged. What do you know? We got the Carfax and it had been in an accident that affected the front and sides. ‍ Overall, the people I spoke to were friendly and weren't forceful in trying to get me to put money down on either of the cars I was interested in. I just wish they could fill in their information for each vehicle entry correctly on their site. Besides seeing the title status, the only way to know the Carfax is to go down there and have them show it to you to.

The next business day, a seller named Nicho reached out to me. We talked on the phone about my situation & what I would need to be able to walk with this truck. We went over credit, co-signer, down payment, deposit & questions regarding the vehicle. Nicho was able to get me approved with no cosigner & a monthly payment that I am comfortable with & a down payment I was comfortable with. When I arrived to the dealership, they had the truck ready for me to test drive. After a test drive, I was sure this is the vehicle I wanted. Signing paperwork & paying a down payment was simple & went by fairly fast. The experience of buying through this dealership was a great one. Thank you to Nicho for helping me during this process. The vehicle has not given me any problems. I was able to drive it home from Bakersfield about two hours away. I took my truck to my mom's over the weekend another two hours away & the drive was a great one.
