It's expensive, but this was an amazing way to spend a day. You get to drive a tank, fire historic guns from whatever war & country you choose, use a flame thrower, etc. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience with an amazing collection of war memorabilia. Just an epic experience with lovely staff

Have been here twice and had an absolute blast each time. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about all of the items there. Good bit of historical information available

This place have it all , tanks ,rockets , mortars , 50 cal Barrets , machine Guns , grenades launchers sniper rifles you name it , they have it . And that's not the the best part , while you shooting the baddest guns out there you get to deal with the most awesome crew all ex military , Glen was with us every step of the way , super funny easy going and patient with first timers , Glen is the kind of guy you like in the first 5 seconds , and Jay was awesome helping with the range , Josh one hell of a tank driver took us on a tour with a TANK , Spencer was super cool and even gave my girlfriend a free grenade launcher experience . I've shoot in many shooting ranges , but this one tops them all . Thank you Drive Tank for everything

My father treated my brother and his wife to a tank ride and some big guns this summer, and today was my turn while Mr R was home for the holidays. The grounds and the hospitality were stellar. I got to drive a Leopard (automatic, thank you!), he fired a howitzer, we both shot an M240 (if that's wrong, blame Mr R and his military history). The range employees were entirely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very good company for our 2.5 hour excursion. We got a tour with another family of the collection of firearms, weapons, uniforms and vehicles. This guide was very knowledgeable and responded well to adults and children who had questions or comments. We received clear instructions before firing or driving anything, as were family and friends along to watch. Safety was seriously addressed and then fun was had; this was true for each specialist at every separate activity. I don't get off on the sports stats of wars or weapons, but I had a great time. Mr R will be grinning widely for weeks. I just got home and am terrible with names but will edit as I can to give employees due credit.

This place is amazing. I don't care about tanks or guns. Our buddy loves them, and anything WWII related so we went here for his bachelor party (well part of a full weekend...). From the Jurassic Park like gates to the random exotic animals you pass on the way to the beautiful lodge I was already impressed. Then you enter 'the lodge' which is filled with mounted heads and animals from all over the world. Did I mention there's a huge bar for your convenience - free of charge? AND AN ARCADE UPSTAIRS?! So ya - that's not even the fun part. We saw dozens of automatic weapons, all available for fire, I got to climb in tanks. I thought the grand finale was riding around, drifting in a tank but I wasn't even close. We got to fire the automatic weapons and the freaking huge CANNONS mounted to the tanks. I can't tell you specifics because it's not my thing but behind the tank the blowback put a huge toothy smile from the whole party. Did I mention the flamethrower? Oh man this place is amazing. The staff was also super helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks again!!!

This was a wonderful experience for my father's 70th birthday. Spenser was a fantastic guide and host. If you want to drive real tanks that were in war and shoot fully automatic rifles, this is the place to go. Nice does not begin to explain the experience that we had. This was the best birthday present my father ever had. As a former veteran he was very pleased. The staff and the hosts were amazing. The tanks in the museums are fantastic. This is a must go experience. WW2 and Vietnam awesomeness rolled into a giant burrito of patriotic screaming eagle goodness!!!

We were lucky enough to not only shake hands with Mr. Johnny Dury himself, but also received an…read moreexclusive tour of the building by him. I respect that this business is handled with the customers well being in mind. The fact that they offer a generational warranty is awesome and I will definitely be coming back to purchase a new firearm. There is SO MUCH more than just the sales floor to this building! From online sales, to inventory, to gun smithing, and so much more. They have very attentive staff and if they don't know the answer they will find it for you. Really appreciate the shirt he gifted to my father visiting as he was most excited for this experience having heard all about it on podcasts and word of mouth. There's not many business you can trust anymore, but this is definitely one that can be. Thanks again!

Dury's Guns - San Antonio, TX…read more I stopped into Dury's while on a business trip in San Antonio after spending some time at the Lone Star Gun Range. I was looking for cleaning supplies for my firearms, and this shop definitely impressed me. The store is large, clean, and extremely well-organized, with handguns displayed by manufacturer and thousands of new and used firearms to choose from. The layout and number of display cases made it easy to browse, and the selection included many guns I had never seen in person before. There was plenty of staff available to assist, and they were more than willing to show and explain different firearms. Even though I wasn't in the market for a new gun that day, if I had been, I would have purchased one on the spot. For my original purpose, I came in looking for a specific Slip 2000 solvent, and they had it in stock at a great price--no need to order online. Overall, this is one of the most impressive gun shops I've visited. The staff was friendly and helpful, the selection was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. If you're in San Antonio and looking for a new or used firearm--or even just accessories and supplies--I highly recommend checking out Dury's Guns. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.
