We used them for the online self guided class and driving lessons. Not a single issue with them in our case. We had Devin for our first lesson and he was great. Our next two lessons were with Dionne and they were also just as fantastic. Our son did driving in our town, the freeway, Antioch and who knows where else. For the online courses you just need to stay on your own child to make sure they are doing it in a timely manner. Leave enough time to get the sign off from the office. I just had my first lesson with Ms. Joyce and it was fantastic. Booking was simple and they have several accessible payment options. Several reviews led me to choosing her as my instructor and I have no regrets. I am an adult driver with some experience and was looking to build more confidence in m lessons with her before taking my test. She picked me up from home and inquired about my experience. We went though a checklist of actions to ensure I felt comfortable in the car and prepared for the road. I really appreciated her teaching style and efforts to get me comfortable while also assessing my skill levelly driving around locally (lots of turns, stops, intersections, U turns, etc.) . She was encouraging in her nature and helpfully articulated her feedback/answers when I made an error or had specific question. I also appreciated that she walked me through my report card after my lesson which gives me areas to focus improving on between and during future lessons. Ms. Joyce is super kind and cares about her students not only passing their test but being safe drivers on the road. I am grateful for her ability to provide though rough guidance while also empowering me to become a thoughtful and attentive driver. I feel safe on the road with her. 2 out of 3 of my driving lessons were instructed by dean, who is a fantastic teacher! not only is he very kind, he's helpful, calm, and super aware of aware of his surroundings. it was easier to relax and drive on the road with such a collected instructor. his teaching style is fantastic, as he gives the student an opportunity to drive wherever they'd like and get a feel of the road, rather than sticking to a singular spot. additionally, whenever i had no idea where i was driving, he'd guide me directly back to the appropriate place. a few of the skills i got to practice was reversing, 3-point turns, turns, u-turns, merging, and even driving on the freeway. while the instruction packages are on the pricier end, you'll get what you need as a first-time learner; patience, a learning opportunity, and a bit of experience. read more

LaTisa and Dean were incredible instructors! Initially I was nervous but LaTisa made my first lesson comfortable, she was both patient and firm. My final lesson with Dean was probably the most relaxing, but not without his careful attention to detail. I appreciate both their attitudes and communication. I recommend purchasing the 2 hour lesson plan instead of the 1.5. As a driving student, that extra half hour helps to correct your mistakes and refine your skills, instead of cutting the lesson short. read more

Christina is very kind and attentive. She made me feel very at ease while we were driving, and I never had the feeling that she was pressuring me into anything I wasn't ready for. She was patient with me when I made mistakes, which allowed me to learn and grow from them. She taught me more than any other instructor has taught me, and I believe a large part of that is due to her calm demeanor. I paid for a couple lessons for my daughter recently and I was overall pleased. They come to your home to pick up the student. My daughter had the same instructor each time. An older gentleman who was friendly. She did say he was nice overall and her second time out on the road was better than the first. They took her on the freeway the first lesson so that was good! She didn't have much driving experience until driving with them so I was nervous but all went well and I definitely think it helped her confidence. Lessons are costly but I think most of these places are based on my research. I will say sometimes when I called to set an appointment or pay the lady on the phone was sometimes rude as all hell.. cheer up why don't ya!? Overall I recommend! read more

The driver instructor was so nice and helped me get from "wait, so which one is the gas pedal again?" to driving on the streets between cities. I feel so much more comfortable behind the wheel after my first lesson. The instructor was very reassuring and pointed out things I was doing well so I wouldn't get discouraged. He still, of course, gave me very well-constructed criticism and provided many different approaches (verbally, drawing it out on paper and physically showing me) to explain different concepts to me and fix errors that I consistently made. I used this company for one teen and it went okay. I used this company for the next teen and it was bad. The driving instructor was panicky and made my teen nervous. My teen braked for an animal in the road and the instructor grabbed the dashboard and let out a short scream. My teen could get that with me as their instructor. We ended up switching to another driving school to finish up the lessons. I guess it depends on who you get as an instructor. However they were accommodating to us switching to another school without hassle. read more

i paid $170 for a 2 hour lesson hoping to learn something new such as going on freeway , learning how to parallel park , etc . all i was told to do was drive around the city on easy streets , which is something a parent could've showed me . i was also told to drive the instructor to their office for them to waste 15-20 of my paid minutes sitting in the parking lot waiting for them . i learned absolutely nothing , im pretty disappointed especially for the amount of money i spent . it also mentions on the website all the things able to be taught during the lesson , i told the instructor everything i knew and was hoping theyd teach me everything i didn't so my time would be worth the $170 , this experience was definitely not with the $170 . read more

I would not recommend this online drivers ed. My daughter started it and had nothing but problems. The program continued kicking her out as if her time was up. I called and got the problem resolved only for it to happen again. This particular program is boring, not interactive and has tons of glitches. She absolutely hated it and every time she had to get on to fulfill more work she dreaded it. Finally, it kicked her off again and she called to handle it on her own. The lady seemed bothered by her call and made no effort to resolve. I decided to enroll her into another online drivers ed and used driversed.com. she loved it and was happy to get onto the program and learn. NOW I had my youngest daughter take the permit portion of class and she just took her Dmv she passed her permit with flying colors. Whatever you do, don't chose this school. They just debited my account and cancelled my daughters lesson. It started with her fist lesson with Diversity, which was her second behind the wheel lesson. The fist behind the wheel lesson was with a driving school out of Oakley CA of which went bankrupt. The Oakley School collect the full payment then went Bankrupt, so I was already damaged by the first driving school. Well Diversity took my first payment and showed up for the lesson. It was one of the owners Rainy Robinson, she looked rough around the edges, but I thought she must know her stuff...well not true! After 3 hours the showed up at the house, dropped my daughter off, and drove off. My daughter comes in the door and breaks down in tears, crying on my shoulder like her dog had died. She told me that the lady was so mean to her!!!! She was making rude comments and gesturing after each honest mistake without explanation. I had never seen Jacklyn this way before, so terrified and hurt. Jacklyn's very first behind the wheel lesson with the Oakley Driving School went just fine and Jacklyn really liked the lady instructor. The only issue was that they went bankrupt, at least they had the moral compass to send us a certificate of completion. I was angry at the instructor for treating my daughter so badly I immediately called and left a voice mail complaint, explaining how this old lady was rude and mean to my daughter. Who does that...who makes the lesson such a bad experience that they do not want to every go through something so horrible? By the look at some of the other Yelp reviews it is making sense that the issue is with Rainy Robinson. So weeks go by and I had time to finally follow up to get the certificate for my daughter for the one lesson she did take. In doing so the receptionist apologized that Jacklyn had such a bad experience etc etc. So I decided to schedule another appointment as long as we did get the mean old lady!!!! They agreed and scheduled the appointment. I paid today for the lesson that was scheduled for Sunday, the debited my account, then later that afternoon sent me a cancelation notice stating that Jacklyn's lesson had been cancelled. The e-mail was sent by Kathy. Then just minutes later Rainy Robinson sent me an e-mail stating that they cancelled Jacklyn's appointment because I called an left an abrasive message on their voice mail. So the took my appointment, knew about my appointment, took my money, then went in for the KILL! Well my friends that is fraudulent behavior wouldn't you say?
