What a true blessing Bay Hill Driving School was for me. I had a small window to work with to take…read moremy test before I moved. My main instructor was booked out and also went on vacation, so I thought I would miss the chance to take my test. I found Bay Hill on Yelp and decided to book them for two things: 1. A two hour crash course in preparation of my test. 2. Vehicle rental for the test + 30 minute prep before. The two hour crash course was perfect. My instructor was calm, gave great instructions and made it so easy to feel comfortable behind the wheel. He was able to frame things that I needed work on in a way that I was able to process and internalize. By the end, he had me Feeling confident going into my big day. The day of my test, I met with JP at the DMV 45 minutes before my appointment. He walked me through the car I rented and what to expect for pre-test check (which was exactly how it went down, so I was well prepared for it.). Then we did some practice runs of the test route while JP very detailedly pointed out things I need to do and what examiners will look for during the test. Then he lined up with me until it was my turn. The entire time, he patiently answered any questions I had and it's clear from my time with him that he loves what he does and genuinely does his best to make you feel as confident and prepared as you can be for your test. Long story long, I passed my test and JP and the Bay Hill Driving School team deserve credit even though I only took two lessons with them. As an adult going for their license, you deal with way more self-doubt and anxiety than your younger counterparts, but these guys were able to quell a lot of that in the brief time I worked with them. I can't recommend them enough. Great instructors and even better people. Thank you JP and team!

She would smack gum, eat food, and generally had an attitude of not caring. Only until my last class did she run me through a couple of rules but I never really learnt anything under her teaching. It was high pressure and everything I learned was like being tested without knowing there was a test or what the material was on. The only saving grace here is that the people at the office are great, they kindly signed my second permit and gave me another learning certificate for $25 when I lost my first one. I would shop around for a better driving school before settling on this one.

After your child completed the online hours call them and they will provide you with his certificate so that you can take it to DMV to get your child approved for the permit test. Once they receive the permit, contact the company and let them know and they will schedule a drive time appointment with you. your child needs to complete 50 hours they get their actual license when they turn 16 so they get the two Hours Dr. time to the beginning and then you practice with your child and then they get two hours at the end to make sure that they're ready to take their driving test.

That changed after picking my daughter up from her third simulator session, when she was told she'd need a fourth. I asked staff to explain why. Instead of a real answer, I got "she sucks at driving" and "she understands nothing." When I pushed for specifics -- what exactly she's struggling with, since we're paying for actual instruction -- they said she doesn't understand road signs. That doesn't add up: she's already passed her permit test and talks through signs with me on real drives all the time. My daughter's account matched what I'd heard: instructors just told her she was wrong, over and over, with no explanation and no attempt to adjust their teaching to how she learns. Simulators aren't a one-size-fits-all tool, and a good instructor should be able to diagnose why a student is stuck -- not just blame the student. The two staff members we dealt with (one blonde with glasses, one tall with dark hair) were condescending and dismissive. At one point they accused my daughter of being "entitled" -- ironic, considering they couldn't be bothered to actually teach. We're requesting a refund for the remaining sessions. Save your money and time -- go elsewhere.

He started at Kiddie Academy Brentwood when he turned four and attended for about five months. His teacher was Ms. Alaina. Pros * You need your own login to enter the school. * All food is provided (though it's not exactly "free," considering we were paying almost $100 a day). * At drop-off, all the teachers would always say good morning to my son. I honestly wished one of those teachers had been his teacher. * My son loved playing with his friends and formed very close bonds with a few of the kids. * He learned how to write most letters and started learning addition. Cons * My son often seemed sad in the mornings when I helped him put his shoes on. He asked for "only easy shoes" because during nap time, they take their shoes off, and Ms. Alaina would refuse to help him put them back on. My son words were "Ms. Alaina said to put them on myself and doesn't want to help me". What parent would have enjoyed listening to that? So then I asked him more questions about this and he said his friend would help him put his shoes on. This made me want to cry because how sweet of his friend to try to help. From there on out, my son only took "easy shoes" (shoes with no shoelaces). Another time, I picked him up and his shoelaces were completely untied. He was literally dragging his feet. I asked the teacher to help him next time, and she said she hadn't noticed. It's hard to believe a child dragging his feet could go unnoticed. * They have a parent app, but the teacher wouldn't update it until the end of the day, which defeated the purpose of wanting updates while I was away at work. * Ms. Alaina had Trump stickers all over her water bottle. (I guess this might be a pro for Trump supporters.) Regardless of political affiliation, a teacher should never display political messaging in the classroom. One time, my son saw a picture of Trump and said with excitement, "It's the guy from school." Why are they talking about Trump at school? * At pick-up, Ms. Alaina never gave me updates on how my son's day went. His previous school always did, so maybe it's just not standard practice here? * One time I picked him up and he had red all over his face. I panicked, thinking it was a nosebleed, but Ms. Alaina said it was frosting from cupcakes they had during snack time. Snack time is at 3pm and I picked him up at 5pm, you would've thought between those two hours she could've told him to go wipe his face. It's literally common sense to wipe a child's messy face. * The classroom had a 1:12 teacher-to-student ratio. For the amount of money parents are paying, I feel that the school could have added another teacher. I guess that helps explain why Ms. Alaina wasn't as attentive as I had hoped. * Again, Ms. Alaina being a Trump supporter. Imagine supporting a president who has openly discussed dismantling parts of the education system while working as a teacher? Make it make sense. Overall, these are the reasons why I feel this school deserves only two stars. Maybe it would have been more if my son's teacher had been kinder and more nurturing.

** I wish I found this driving school before we started using another company!!!** My son has his driving test on Friday morning, and I received a phone call at 9pm on Tuesday that one of the drivers was on vacation, and one car was in the shop so they couldnt get him in for his last behind the wheel class in time. I PANICKED!! Asked a bunch of moms in a group I'm in and a few recommended Driversity, so I took a chance and called, left a message because it was after business hours and got a phone call this afternoon when they were open and the lady on the phone Kay, was a huge help! She assured me that I was able to switch schools as long as I got a paper from the other school that proved that my son had 4 hours prior. (Said this happens all the time too. So that reassured me a little bit also!) So we got that paper and she was able to squeeze us in this evening with Derek. He was great with my son, my son was comfortable with him and said he was very personable. He truly went above and beyond when my son mentioned how the previous school we used spent his 2 hours. I like the good customer service of the owner, who would ensure that any feedback left on reviews, like this one, is addressed promptly. He provided me a free class since I gave a feedback about one of his instructors. I only signed up for one class with their Antioch branch (they have several branches and several instructors in each branch). Take note that he does not really teach and you will not find him among the options for instructors since as you may expect, he is focused on the business side of the school. I did not sign up for another class since my experience with the actual driving instructor was not great. She took me to the immediate neighborhood only, filled with bumps at that, and the farthest we went to was a street outside of the neighborhood. For one hour, it was just discussion on what to expect at the behind-the-wheel test, which although useful, is also available on Youtube and was more like a classroom lecture. She drove for 15 minutes. In my opinion, it should be the student driving and the instructor should be able to relay her knowledge and expertise in a way that allows the student to practise. Anyhow, the classes are recorded so your feedback will be verified based on what actually transpired. read more

Driversity Driving School is as good as it gets. The owner Warren is a dedicated, hands on educator. He took the time to explain the different programs available and what would work best for my new driver. Warren is the one that teaches the actual Driver Education class. You will not find a better instructor. Hands down the best education. If you love your kid send them to this driver education class. Do not let them whip through an online course just to get it done. The office staff and the appointment scheduling are amazing. I received email and text reminders and was able to reschedule online. Our kid had a few different instructors for the driving. They were all very nice and professional. Different personalities but great teachers. I was afraid to drive with our daughter after a rough experience. After a few lessons I was amazed. My daughter even taught me a few things lol. I did not know what to expect from this as I did this in high school. I was overjoyed with the education, communication and overall outcome. Everything started out fine for us with this school. Dionne was our sons instructor and she was so nice and pleasant. She made our son feel very comfortable. I wish she was our only experience. It's very hard to get a driving slot. They book way out. We made the mistake Of booking our sons last driving lesson on the wrong day. When my wife called back to see if we can get another lesson before his drivers test, the lady on the Phone was extremely rude. My wife understood that they were not able to fit our son in in time for his test and she just decided to cancel the last lesson and asked for a Refund and proof of the two previous lessons. The rude lady on the phone (Melissa?) was very snappy to my wife. Actually beyond snappy. She lied about trying to coNtact us back. She would not respond to our emails until we persisted and the. Wrongs everything in all CAPS. If this is the lady that represents your company, you're not going to be around long. I wish I would have read reviews first. This was a hard lesson. Please choose a better driving school if you don't want to deal with this negative energy place. read more

So we send our 15 year old son out with Driversity for a driving lesson. When scheduling we told the woman on the phone he must be dropped off at CV by 3:15 for a teachers conference. He wasn't. They were 30 minutes late and showed up at our house, not CV. Our son then tells us they had to stop so his instructor could take a cigarette break. While she explained to our 15 year old son that electronic cigarettes aren't bad for you, ok hagetha save your smoking endorsements for your kids not ours. When we called to complain the "supervisor" completely defended her smoker, I mean instructor. She said the LAW entitles her to take a break and she can do whatever she wants on her break, smoke,drink,sleep,drugs. Funny they don't mention this on their website. I don't smoke and don't care if other people do, just don't try to convince my son that it is ok in any form. I didn't know we had to request smoking or non-smoking when scheduling a driving lesson. 45 minutes of lecture and 15 minutes of the instructor driving the car when I paid for 2 hours of behind the wheel!!! The things she talked about on her checklist are already on Youtube and DMV manual. I don't know what the instructor did not understand about BEHIND the WHEEL part! It's NOT a classroom or online talk! We went around residential area and went to the street only for 4 blocks in total! You better get an instructor who's not scared to teach students in the actual streets and who have experience. There's a risk to this job but you also have a spare brake and gas. I did NOT learn anything and it was a complete WASTE of money and time. If there would be more stars I could put, I woul! Derek was so awesome! He was very patient and understanding towards me. He prepared me better than anyone could have. I went from being afraid of driving in residential areas to driving on the freeway with no fear. After the first 5 minutes of driving at my first session, there was already a change with my driving. It's worth EVERYTHING to learn to drive safely and being confident at it because it's something you'll never forget, and will carry on for the rest of your life. I passed my behind the wheel test today. I was prepared for every single thing that I had to do. I couldn't be any happier. Christina is an amazing driving instructor, very sweet and communicative. She gave clear and direct pointers that helped me understand what I need to work on for my test and overall as a driver. Her bubbly personality makes it not awkward to talk to her at all. She is very chill and open, yet firm and patient with her teaching. She makes sure that if I make a mistake or need to correct something, she does it in the moment or directly after to make sure I fix it as soon as I can. Christina also asks if I have any questions or if anything was unclear and I can respond accordingly. She gives a wrap up of the lesson and sets things to work on for the next lesson and for the test. Overall Christina is an amazing instructor and I am grateful to have her for guidance. read more

Derek was the best driving instructor I have had. He was very knowledgeable in preparing me for what the driver's test will look like. He helped me to identify why I needed help understanding some of the rules of the road and explained them to me. I finally know why you can turn right after stopping at a red traffic light. He challenged my skills just enough to build my confidence at the end of the course. Derek answered every question I had and didn't make me feel dumb. He was very patient when I messed up and he told me what to do next time I'm in those types of situations. read more

My 16-year-old daughter had a really good experience with driving lessons at Driversity. She is normally a nervous person, but the instructor gave her confidence behind the wheel. Instructor was on time, courteous, very knowledgeable, and very clear in giving instructions. He explained rationale behind a driver's decision-making process and went through what to expect at a DMV driver's test. After the lesson, I also received a written assessment detailing which skills were covered and which skills still need work. I would recommend Driversity to everyone. read more

It has been awhile but I was just thinking this morning how easy it is to send my daughter out on errands since she got her license, what a big help to ME. She went to Driversity and passed her test the FIRST time! (better than I did, ha ha!) She had Veronica and said the teacher was knowledgeable and patient (my kiddo can be a bit nervous). I've taken 5 driving lessons total with 4 different teachers and Dean was by far my favorite!! He teaches and explains things greatly and I assure you'll feel confident in your abilities just after one lesson with him. He goes over a lot of important material on the first lesson just so you can get a good feel for things and prepare yourself. If you get the chance, definitely try to get him :) or Dionne! She was really good too and has a great sense of humor to lighten up the mood. read more

I had Derek as my driving instructor for 2 of the 3 sessions and both times were great learning lessons for me as I strive to become a full fledged driver. Also I appreciated how he both commended me when I did good and gave me advice when necessary, as the whole point of the lessons is to implement the rules of the road, learned a lot. My daughter did the 6 hour lesson with Driversity 5 years ago and now my son. My kids both said the same thing about their instructor after their first session that they were very helpful and points out the mistake when it happens to be able to correct right away. Definitely recommend the doing your 6 hours of behind the wheel practice at Driversity Driving School. They even pick you up and drop you off at your location of your choice. Super nice not harsh like other driver instructors I've herd about at diff companies. Very good at instructing you and answering any questions you may have. The owner Warren is super friendly and knowledgeable about the whole permitting/licensing process. Our son took their online course as well as take a driving lesson. Warren came to our house to pick up our son which was super convenient for us. Our son felt very comfortable driving and learning from Warren. the driving instructors, are kind and always willing to help the students. the company also keeps up with the covid-19 rules. So I was getting out to wait for the instructor, he was dropped off by the son who just dropped off my son then left. Unprofessional! Never heard of an instructor taking nap while teaching. Now I'm teaching myself, I don't nap while teaching my son. He is doing well, ready for next step on the low traffic road

The kindergarten year was great. 1st grade, however, well, lets just say, recent events have shown us that this school does not practice what it preaches. Without detailed communication or parental consent, Celebration brought in a guest speaker from Committing to 16 -- someone with no formal training in early childhood education -- to speak to a class of 6-year-olds. Even worse, the speaker contradicted her own organization's message ["Committing to 16 is designed to help prevent mental health issues that come with social media use in kids and teens by avoiding social media usage until 16..." ] by encouraging kids to stay on social media... at six years old! How is that in line with Christian values or healthy child development? C'mon Nurse Kelli - make it sound right. And that's just grazing the top layer of their presentation slides... there's more than social media. How about, vaping, sexual touching? Yeah, that. Even public schools have consents toward subjects spoken on that subject. We're raising our child in a very intentional and supervised way. No sleepovers. No random adults without us present. No unsupervised screen time -- ever. Every minute of his exposure to media is something we explain and walk him through. So, to find out that Celebration assumed all children were on the same path and delivered such content without consent? Completely unacceptable. When my wife addressed the issue in person, she was met with dismissive body language and zero accountability. From what I gathered, they didn't seem to think they did anything wrong -- or perhaps they just labeled us as "overprotective parents." Let me be clear: We may be the first to speak up, but we are not alone. Other parents we've talked to were equally outraged. To top it off, our child has mentioned they often watch YouTube in class. If that's what we're paying thousands a year for, we could have stayed home and done that ourselves -- for free. Celebration Center claims to partner with parents, but in our experience, they make major decisions without transparency and then stand by them without reflection. We no longer trust the school's judgment, and we certainly don't feel they prioritize the well-being or innocence of the children in their care. If you're a parent looking for a school that truly respects and collaborates with families, think twice before enrolling here. They might say the right things, but their actions tell a different story.
