We have now used Drivers Ed two times and both times had the privilege of having Katrina Arva. She is an amazing instructor, she takes her time to make sure the child is well aware of what is expected and makes the drive enjoyable. I have recommended her to all of our friends. She is the ONE to ask for..... You're the BEST Katrina :) oh, she is in contra costa county (Northern CA) read more

I have been trying to contact DriversEd for a few weeks now so my daughter can take her driving lessons. When you call them to speak with someone you can't get anyone to answer the phone. If we don't hear something real soon, we will be taking further legal action. Are you guys ripping people off and not providing all the services that were supposed to be provided with course?!!!!!!! read more

Even though taking Drivers Ed is not a fun thing to have to do, on line is a far better way to go through it then spending a weekend in class. read more

I loved this online drivers ed course! It was very easy to follow and I liked how there are times of interactivity with the student. This course has given me the tools I need to prepare myself for the road. I also really liked that it let you see why the right answer is the right answer. Overall, I would highly recommend this to a friend. Worth every penny! read more

ASK FOR PRISCILLA AKA CIL! SHE'S THE BEST! I'm originally from New York and I'm 27. I've always had a learners permit in NY but because of an accident while learning how to drive at the age of 18 I became traumatized and decided to put off getting a license. Now that I've decided to move to the east bay for work I quickly realized that I need a license to get around because relying on my friends to drive me around can get really bothersome. So I took my written exam and quickly looked for an instructor. I called a bunch of places and even went to their locations but all of them were closed and no one answered the phone. (THANK GOD!) Finally I called DriversEd and got a response right away. They set me up with their BEST instructor CIL! Cil is a former OPD officer who has retired due to injury while on duty. She's the most calm, helpful, reliable, punctual, and professional instructor. From day one she kept me calm and got me super comfortable behind the wheel. She never yelled at me and kept building up my confidence by telling me I could do it and thoroughly put me against challenges on the road that she knew I could overcome. She went above and beyond what was needed on the road test just so she could build up my confidence. She let me know what my problems were and what I could do to improve them. She never got annoyed or angry, She talked me through everything in a calm manner. After all this my road test was today and guess what?! I PASSED!!!! So basically if you want someone who's going to talk to you like a normal human being while discussing and working on what your problems are while driving I suggest you call DriversEd and quickly book an appointment with CIL! SHE'S THE BEST! THANKS CIL for everything! read more

Terrible customer service!! One instructor, Eddie, has a nervous factor and should not work with teens. Just to be clear, he never drove my daughter when I felt this about him. He showed up late and cancelled. But his body language was jumpy..... They held my daughter's certificate because of her permit number that I gave to them 2 times before..... Eddie offered a $20 off if I opted for road test service that was written our contact (the same contract I would have to abide by). The company wouldn't honor the discount stating he doesn't know due to being in the field. The only reason I am giving them any stars is because of instructor Tonie McMurray. He has the demeanor needed for learning teens. Even though I didnt want to spend any money with DriversEd.com for her road test because of their service, Tonie is the only reason why I did anyway. I requested him, he came and handled everything and my daughter passed on her first attempt. If I could rate Tonie as an individual, he would get 5 stars.......Ohhh and don't believe the "night driving" option. The latest ends 7 pm I believe... It's dark around 845pm in Atlanta read more

Okay...so my daughter is taking her test today and we just happened to bump into Angel(who is one of their instructors) She was incredibly knowledgeable!!! If the rest of the instructors are as good....this is the place you should have your child learn to drive. I know I wish my daughter had been instructed by her from the get go. read more

I highly recommend DriversEd.com. They offer a well-designed online course that is easy to use and understand. Scheduling in-car driving lessons is also easy and my instructor, Mr. Tony Yan, has been particularly nice and helpful. I signed up for a 10-hour package and have taken 3 lessons with him so far. He is always punctual and prepared to teach. He pays close attention to my driving, assesses my current skill level carefully, and tailors each lesson to my individual needs for quick improvement. He is calm, friendly, knowledgeable, and shares great tips on how to safely navigate traffic, parking, and freeways. I am planning to take the rest of my lessons with Tony. He can check my progress accurately, and has helped me build confidence behind the wheel and learn techniques for defensive driving. Tony is great and highly recommended for people of all skill levels! read more

Terrible customer service. My daughter got locked out of her account after answering a security question incorrectly. I have been trying for weeks now to get someone to call me back. I have been on hold for hours trying to get in touch with someone to unlock her account. Sent countless emails to no avail. I definitely do not recommend them! read more

The online course was the greatest 12 hours I've ever spent in my entire life -______-

Pretty much the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My son ended up having to take the online course twice, because somehow their system didn't record all of his progress. Not only that, but they made us pay twice. Currently (and we live in Texas) we are unable to print the certificate of completion. He finished it 6 weeks ago, and we are still getting the blow-off of "1-2 Business Days" before it will be uploaded to the system. This makes absolutely no sense. Countless emails and phone calls, and here I am on hold-- it's been 30 minutes so far-- and having to take yet more time to get it solved, but I am not optimistic. Don't waste your money or your time with this company. I feel like I am going to be reporting this somewhere, other than yelp. Caveat Emptor! read more

Great driving instruction for my teen. Professional, courteous instructor. Tony Yan was great.

Moved to SF10 years ago, I wanted to get my CA licence, however after not driving for 10 years I was incredibly nervous driver who didn't want to even get behind the wheel , So tried to search on line for a driving school ,found the Driver,s ED .com very affordable. struck it lucky with Anthony,he was an excellent instructor, smart ,punctual and so patient..I was so impressed how much he loves his job and enjoys it. he was very clear in his instruction and tried to be flexible with my overloaded schedule, even though his schedule was also busy. I felt completely at ease with him and found him perfect driver to drive around with. he encouraged me enjoy the driving and I loved their Mini cooper car:) I passed my test with the high score and will try to book with him again for the high way lessons . I totally recommend him and the Ed driving school . read more

AZ Traffic School Course: It was a good refresher and good to know AZ laws. The ALB piece was a great reminder of what happens when you apply those brakes and the video was pretty entertaining. read more

My instructor's name was Tony Yan and for my first time out it was perfect. He was very patient and came with great visuals to help me learn quicker. read more

This online and behind the wheel drivers education school has one of the worst behind the wheel driver teachers ever. This teacher not only yelled at other drivers and my daughter, he said derogatory things about her religion, about religion in general. He was highly inappropriate, unprofessional, and clearly had no self-mediating limit setting control. read more

Very good online course. Clear questions and very well done presentations. The videos are also a great way to motivate drivers to pay more attention to the road. Login is also very straightforward read more

I think what would be better if the court house can be more flexible on traffic school option. Overall is alright in terms of content.

I got my 2nd ticket since 2004. Back then I went to an actual class in San Mateo...the teacher was a jerk who thought he was funny, and it took ALL day. This site was fairly painless. I finished in a few hours during my lunch breaks over 2 days. I just jammed while listening to Chuck Berry. Would recommend, though I don't plan to repeat!! read more

Great learning experience, I like the fact it was a little bit of everything. Well balanced and not to heavy, fun and informative learning. Just perfect, the drivers with names, and illustrating the scenes was good. The 15 min film on drunk driving and the consequences was humbling, and information was easy to read and short to the point. I liked that. read more

Yes, the cars are cute but it's expensive and poor results...our kid failed her driver's test 3 times. The instructor was kind, but apparently not that effective. Also, she lives in Marin County so did not know the area here in East Bay. Wish we would have gone with someone local who knows the area. I have since heard from friends there is former DMV test instructor who lives in Oakland and does instruction. I would go that route or choose someone local. read more

very good tutorial. I learned a lot. Language is easy to understand. Only thing is I would like to have more visual questions and keep updating their course as soon as DMV update something. Thanks! read more

I have used Driver's Ed for both my children. It is super easy to book lessons. I have never had a teacher cancel on me and they are always on time and prepared to teach my kids. My son recently took his test and passed the first time. He took his lesson with Long Truong, I would highly recommend him. He was on top of all the skills required to pass the drivers test. My son after completing his test said to me. Mom, I don't think I would have passed had it not been for my lessons with Long. He really prepared me for the test and for all the skills I would need to drive safely on my own. Thanks Driver's Ed. You have taught both my kids to drive and they passed their first time trying. First, it is hard to schedule a lesson. When we need to reschedule the lesson due to my daughter's sickness, they charged us $50 to do so. It sucks! read more

It was a wonderful and informative course online! I completed the course in my pajamas, and when it was most convenient for me [I did it over a period of several days.] The only drawback was that it seemed longer than 8 hours total. In short, a great course, really. read more

I dreaded taking driver's ed. online, but really enjoyed the experience! I found that it caught me up to date on laws that have changed since I last took a driver's exam, and it made me take stock of my current driving behaviors; I have since modified them for the better. Additionally, the time spend at home completing this course and the ability to log off and onto it at my leisure was so much better than having to dedicate an entire day at traffic school away from home on a weekend. I am grateful that this program has been offered online. read more

Great service. My 15 year old gained the confidence she needed from training courses from driversed.com. Definitely recommend!

This is a good class to learn. Convenient and well prepared materials with lot of useful information for being a good driver.

The best driving instructor in this world is Mr Long Truong. I never forget my sad experience but thanks to Mr Truong, now I'm driving. He was calm, kind, and efficient. The best part is he handle a difficult and slow student like me with his calm & kind manners .I always salute him, if all the teachers are like him this world will be a Heaven.
