Andro helped me a lot and made it very easy!! I would never do it without him! Very professional and respectful. Way to go ! Would recommend him definitely! read more

The instructor was very rude, arrogant, and made me feel more anxious. Don't have someone that feels entitled to be instructing people to drive. Coming from someone who has driven in the past and needed to get familiar and finally obtain, my driver's license, I regret ever spending my money here and thank goodness I went another route in order to pass my driving test. read more

Tried calling back after a reschedule, no one picked up, the call kept being redirected after the 6th call, I've decided to move on with a different driving school, to deal with the hassle. read more

Vincent is a patient teacher, and helped me get comfortable behind the wheel. Highly recommend

Andrew is a great instructor. He was patient, good listener, and explain everything that I asked. After driving around, I felt a more confident each day. I was driving, making turns, parking, switching lanes, and learn to watch the traffic ahead. I was told to make sure to turn your head when checking traffic (not just with your eye). This way, during the test, the examiner will see that you actually check the traffic. I managed to pass the driving test. read more

A top-notch driving school. I strongly recommend them. My instructor Andrew was very professional. He came to my house to get me always on time. On my first day we sat in the car, and he went over all the rules with me and made sure I understood everything he answered all the questions I had for him, very patient with me. Then I started driving all over the place. He explained everything to me while driving, even my mistakes. I felt relaxed and more confident driving around with him. I will continue practicing with him until I take my test in 2 weeks. So far, I have had 3 lessons. I will be going on the freeway soon, my biggest fear. The prices for the lessons are very affordable and worth every penny. Don't hesitate to join their school, you'll be happy. read more

Had a fantastic experience with Andrew as my instructor. He was able to accommodate my last-minute scheduling and was very encouraging. Even though parallel parking isn't on the driving test, Andrew taught it to me when I requested. He was very patient and made sure I was comfortable parking on my own. read more

When I was taking lessons at Swift Driving School, Andrew was my instructor. I took 3 lessons and I was able to pass my driving test with only 1 attempt. Andrew also brought me onto the freeway to practice as this was one of my biggest fears as a new driver. On top of that, Andrew taught me how to parallel park and my friends and family are surprised how well I can parallel park without a backup camera! I highly recommend Swift! read more

I spent $2,200 for 11 lessons and didn't pass for the first two times. Then I changed a school, took 2 lessons and passed. Don't choose this fraud place if you have other options. read more

I was trained by Pam and got my license after 5 classes and in first attempt. I have never driven earlier in India and am very scared of driving, I could not believe I got my license so soon, and all thanks to Pam aunty. I had earlier gone to another instructor and I can say how better Pam's teaching was. She had tips and answers for all my fears or doubts. That helped me a lot during the test, I knew exactly what to do. The cherry on the cake is she makes us practice on the freeway and also teaches how to fill gas which I don't think any other instructor does. Also she makes us feel comfortable with friendly talk throughout. And she makes sure we practice enough and get the license with her. I had a great experience with her and would recommend her fully. read more

Had a great time developing my driving skills with Andrew. While on the road, he was very communicative with what I was doing right, iffy, and wrong. With a nice instructor, I was able to develop my weaknesses in driving on the free way, right turns on red lights, busy traffic, and more. Highly recommend! read more

Andrew had squeezed me in cause my permit was bout to expire, he said I was a really good driver but my only problem is that I doubt my driving which was causing me to think I'm a bad driver. When I did my freeway driving, I was hecka scared but he kept reassuring me that I was doing perfectly fine and I honestly talked his ear off ( he's a good listener) I passed my behind the wheel test yesterday on my first try and I stopped doubting my driving.I only got 3 errors which was because I was doing rolling stop !! Best driving school honestly I loved my whole experience!!! read more

After 10 Years of wanting to try to get a driver's license, I finally decided to take classes. I came to this school after failing a recent driver's test. All I can say is WOOWWWWWWWWWW! My instructor, Vincent, went out of his way to make sure I understood the concepts and gave me all the hints needed to pass my driver's test! He is an excellent instructor. I passed my test today. Super excited. Thank you Swift Driving school and super thanks to Vincent for helping me out. Now time to celebrate . read more

I had about 3-4 sessions with Mr. Vincent when I attended his driving school! A week later, I took my driving test and was able to pass with minimal/ minor mistakes (due to my forgetfulness haha). More importantly, he was able to give me exceptional guidance in driving on the freeway (something my parents were too scared to do). In terms of his personality and the rest of his team, they are all really nice, understanding, insightful with their criticism, and extremely patient with you! They are especially calm when giving you advice, so if you are afraid of being stressed, these are the right people to go to! Overall, really great instructor! read more

Thanks for helping me with finally getting my ticket taken care of, although I hope not to see you again..... Classes were not as high as other places and they have a very helpful schedule, especially for us working people.... The room is small, almost squishy like....but there is a Walgreen's a block over that helps for snacks and an ice cold drink...... They are very helpful in completing courses....thanks again.... read more

Had a bad experience with the driving instructor. On the first day, the instructor was late, then I was told to go on the freeway barely 10 minutes after I first learned the controls of the car. Then had to go pick up another student at the end of my class in my very first class!! (for the record, I also did NOT get my 2 hours in). And the student after me lived in the high hills of east bay, and I had to drive there, having barely navigated a car before. I was pressured into signing up for another class the next day. The same thing happened in the next class - drove a student home, went on the freeway, another student drove me home. I did not get my full 2 hours - later realized I would rather pay more money to a driving instructor who would give me the full 2 hours. By the end of the second class, I refused to sign up for more classes. I was told I am a bad driver and how I will never pass the test at this rate if I dont keep taking classes with them. It was an unprofessional experience with the instructor and helped me realize what I needed in the next instructor I picked. It is possible this school has other better instructors and my instructor's style might work for others, but it definitely did not work for me as a first time driver. The only positives I can think of is that it is lower cost than other schools (but again, not the full 2 hours). And I DID learn HOW to drive. None of the road rules or actual helpful advice to help me advance as a driver. But at the core of it, I learned to operate the car and didn't crash into anyone. read more

Andrew from Swift was the best. My son was learning to drive and it was challenging to find someone that he was comfortable with. Andy put him at ease right from the get go and worked with him during multiple lessons to pass his test. He was easy to get ahold of and worked with the challenging schedule of a teenager with multiple sports schedules and weekend events. Highly recommend. read more

Andy is a fantastic teacher and a professional. He's always on time, he's very professional and very patient and personable. He packs a lot into a lesson but also makes sure that if there's a particular sticking point it gets address. He's also super knowledgeable about the DMV and its workings and made the nightmare that is the DMV experience a lot less awful. Passed my test on the first try without much issue. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I was taught by Vincent who was an excellent instructor. Provided quality feedback throughout our time together and was a fairly patient teacher. I would recommend him to others that are looking for an instructor in the Oakland area. read more

I utilized Swift for driver's ed for almost all of 2018 and I am so grateful! Andrew was my instructor and he was so helpful with my learning. With my little experience, Andrew helped me feel more comfortable behind the wheel. He was instrumental in passing my driver's exam the first time. Their services are so affordable for the practices and the final exam. I am so appreciative of Andrew's time and all his guidance in getting my license. With only two weeks until my test date, Andrew did his best to schedule me for as many practices beforehand. Making appointments were simple and Andrew was always timely. Thanks for all your help! read more

Andrew is awesome, I just had the best driving lesson with him. He's patient and has great teaching skills. He's efficient, won't waste student's time. He also makes sure he didn't miss out anything that a student should know. I learned a lot during one session. Thanks Andrew. read more

Good for a first time driver that has never driven before and needs one lesson just to get used to the road. Not so good if you're planning to learn how to drive in a few lessons. I took many lessons with Vincent and he never let me drive on my own. He took it into his own hands to speed up the car instead of telling me to, and when I pressed a tiny bit harder on the gas pedal (because I didn't feel I was exerting that much force and didn't know he was accelerating) he told me I was going too fast. Frustrated, I took my foot completely off the gas pedal to see if the car would still run without my foot pressure there. The car still ran at about 25 mphs for a few minutes, and that is when I learned he was driving for me. I feel like the only thing he needs to do is break if I am prone to accidents, but things like speeding up should be experienced by me only, so I know how hard to press down on the gas pedal when an instructor isn't with me. He also picks up his phone in the middle of lessons quite often to arrange appointments, which is understandable, but the ringing and talking tended to distract me a lot when driving, especially as a nervous newbie. Once while I was driving, he was eating in his car and he wanted to tell me to do something (like a turn) but his mouth was full and he kept waving his hands. Not sure how he expected me to understand his hand motions or how he expected me to focus on his hand when I'm supposed to keep my eyes on the road at all times. Vocal commands seem to work much nicer personally. I took about five lessons with him, but didn't seem to have learned anything important (like u turns, parking, driving on small roads, faster speed limits, freeway, etc) It was good to get me to stop being scared of the road, but I didn't feel like he actually taught me anything, or how to do anything on my own. I felt like the lessons were dragging out the curriculum, and started to learn how to drive on my own and with relatives. I've now gotten my license, but I wouldn't say I owe it all to Swift. read more

I would definitely recommend Swift Driving School to everyone who want to learn how to drive. Made an appt. with Andrew for three days as quickly as possible. Car was new with A.c. and extra foot pedals on the passenger side.He was on time, respectful, positive and his teaching was on point. Began with basic car knowledge, street, and freeway. Prices was cheaper than most place I called..Thanks Andrew now I'm not so nervous and scared. I learn a lot from him. read more

Pretty good service and very friendly teachers. Still learning and will update my review as I take more classes.

I learned about this place from my older brother who used this school to learn to drive years before me. I must say I didn't get the chance to take many classes to do rescheduling with the company and my work schedule didn't mesh at times. I had my first lesson I believe it was the second week and second (final) lesson in September 2017. I had my test the following month..well weeks on October 24th...it was a little nerve wracking for me b/c I only had two actual lessons... but I literally just remembered/imitated how my bf and my brother drive and what I learned from the two lessons. My test took less than 10 min but the wait at dmv was the longest. I passed my test and have been driving confidently since. read more

Friendly staff. Easy to book appointments. Teacher got there on time. My 16 year old brother learned a lot on the first day and was on the freeway the following week for the second appointment. The car they practice driving was in good condition. read more

This is the most unrealiable and deceitful driving school. I made an appointment about a month ago that was confirmed and I was instructed on what to bring and where to go and arrival time. The night before the appointment they called and left a message that they are fully booked so I should not attend the class. Why would they overbook in the first place? They have no regards for people and the deadlines they have to meet. They were very rude and showed no remorse when I called them. They even hung up on me. This is the worst business ever! read more

I would recommend Swift Driving school to anyone wanting to learn how to drive or just improving their skills. From the moment I called the office up until I received my driver's licence ( first time ) , they were professional, friendly and accommodating. Andrew was my instructor, he was patient and kept me motivated. After explaining what I needed and my fears, he sat with me before anything and explained the rules on his whiteboard, which was very helpful and helped me remember. I had a few lessons with him and the day of my test I was anxious , but he reassured me that I'd do just fine, and he was right! Thank you Andrew and Swift Driving school! read more

Awesome for first time driver who is nervous about driving! Took classes from both Andrew and Vincent(mostly Andrew), they are both great instructors, energetic and patient. Flexible with schedule, great price and never late for appointments. Worth every penny! Especially Andrew made learning driving a fun experience, he will never waste your time and he will make sure you get better and feel more confident every time. He will explain everything(traffic rules, what and why do you need to check, etc) in details on his whiteboard. While driving, you will receive a lot of helpful advice and get a lot practice to correct your mistakes! Just got my license today! For DMV test, Andrew will tell you what to bring to the test, pick you up at your house and practice a bit and go through the knowledge test with you. He is very experienced and knows where to go and how the process works. Definitely made me less nervous in DMV for the behind the wheel test. Thanks Andrew! read more

Andrew is a friendly guy that made it almost impossible for me to fail my behind-the-wheel test. The school has definitely reformed and everything is so much better. Andrew is super professional and always on time. The prices are cheap and the service is great. Great place to go for traffic school, very cool pleasant staff. Knowledgeable and there to help in any way. I loved how the instructor is interactive, instead of watching videos the whole time. It was moor like a study group with discussion. Awesome! Was even let out a tad early after finishing a test, which we went over. 8 hrs for a total 39 bucks. They even send over your completion straight to the Courts via Internet. Off street parking 2 hr parking on E 18th. All day on 5th street which I suggest. read more

The driving instructor from A US driving school, left the country when my child was to have her driving test after we told him three months in advance. He said no problem and he would make it. Then two weeks before my child's test he told us he was leaving and told me his other instructor would take his place. When the day of the test arrived the other instructor showed up and informed me she was from Swift driving school. I did not choose this driving school. She took my child and another child at the same time for the test. My child was waiting an HOUR and a half at DMV for the other child to finish. I thought I was getting a private lesson. I should be for the price! Also this lady was TEXTING in the car while she was driving. This is an instructor. She was texting!!!!!. read more

I had to attend traffic school for a speeding ticket which sucked because I wasn't even in a hurry (I just like to drive fast). I chose Swift because they offered a bi-weekly Wednesday class so I wouldn't have waste a whole Saturday. The staff was pleasant. The instructor, Andrew, was very engaging which made participation fun. The fee was only $39 ($40.50 if paying with debit/credit card) and they automatically send notification of completion of the class to the courts/DMV so you won't have to do anything else. Free parking is plentiful as well. read more

Well, this traffic was very good, the instructor was very helpful and answer all the questions in the class, I am not planning to get a ticket again , but i will recomend you this traffic school if you get one. however, i don't know why this school is getting such as bad reviews, so far this school had been one of the best one that i ever did. Thanks so much for you help swift traffic school to help me going through this pain in the butt. by the way be careful on the highway 5 going through redding(cops don't like latino's people out there) because that is when i got my ticket. Best driving and traffic school I went to, they are not expensive at all and offer good quality service! I was the worst driver ever and fearing that I have a baby and refused to drive.. but I had to do what needed to be done.. this place helped me conquer my fears of the dangerous roads and gain my confidence back and made me a professional driver! I highly recommend this school because of Vincent being a good driving teacher and the low cost! read more
