After you make the appointment, show up on designated time and you get helped quickly. No waiting in line at the outside and not that many people since we all have designated time to check in. After you check in with the security, you get a number and they will call you. After explaining what happened at the other drivers license office , the name change resulted in canceling licenses and turned into state ID instead. The clerk said it is possible to get the license back. What a relief. Took about 5 days to get the physical license in the mail. I m so happy that mom didn't have to retake the written and driving test. read more

I tried to get in early and no they go by appointments only people on staff are so busy I paid about 32 for a new recertified drivers license when you get called bu appt you take a two minute eye test so take contacts or glasses they give you a temporary paper and the rest they mail from dept of revenue I think in Lakewood Colorado but take old drivers license and you can put two contacts on drivers liscense so have phone numbers correct say if you get in a really bad accident the police investigators can contact family or friends but don't wait at the last minute ok it took me about five weeks to get an appt so don't forget they reminded me by an e mail but its very busy took picture but at each offices they do different jobs that don't do titles at all that's like county clerk and recorder dmv read more

I went to give all my documents to the DMV Driver License in Cenntinail at 5120 E Arapahoe RD Centennial 80122 and the a counter #10 told me that I need to do the writing test again because the system wasn't working and the one that I did before that was approved doesn't work, and I need to do an appointment again , the treat was very discriminatory for my race ! Aside from all the bureaucratic red tape and other flaming hoops that one has to jump through to get a simple procedure done. Service here was completed in a relatively ok time frame. You must make an appointment first, or you will be screamed at by the receptionist if you try to do a walk-in and then its check in, sit down and wait, get called up, do your business and then sit down and wait again, pay and leave. This experience was a breath of fresh air! I made my appointment for a new drivers license online months ago and the day finally came. I didn't realize how new this office was, but you can definitely tell. Upon arrival, I was asked about COVID symptoms, had my temperature taken, and was given a number. Within minutes, I was able to speak with someone. Unfortunately, I didn't have my marriage license which was needed since I had a CO drivers license way back but my last name has changed since. I was able to run home and return the same day. My husband went the next day and had all of the right documents. He was in and out in 20 minutes! Regarding COVID, it feels very safe. There's someone cleaning all around, they have hand sanitizer at the ready, and at the station where you take your picture, they give you a wipe to clean the pen and fingerprint machine that you use. All of the people working there were friendly and helpful (which admittedly I'm not used to coming from Miami). It's located in a shopping center near a King Soopers and plenty of restaurants. I ducked into Starbucks afterwards for a quick pick-me-up and was on my way. Definitely know that appointments are required and they're booked pretty far out, so don't delay in getting on the schedule! read more

What a day!! My daughter passed her. permit teat online. She made an aptn apt & we went! Mom got lost twice and missed her time slot. We finally found the parking lot, but there were 2 locations. We were already late, so she had a small breakdown. I went home & got her birth certificate & and drove back. Jill, behind the counter, gently told us it was a copy. We drove home again to get the key for our safe deposit box. Her documents weren't in there! Her new job was dependent on having her permit. I'm so proud of my daughter!! She took the bull by the horns. Jill, the woman behind kiosk #8, was PHENOMENAL! She immediately understood the issue & agreed to wait for us to come back with the correct papers. We were almost 2 hours past our appointment time. She helped my daughter dry her tears & happily processed us. Her compassion will forever change my view of the DMV. Thank you, Jill read more

"WELCOME TO COLORADO", those were my departing words from Richard at the state driver's license location in Centennial. I'm officially a Colorado state resident ( BOOM, confetti). The office is quite new as of mid Oct. 2020. You can still smell the new paint. The parking lot is shared because it's in a shopping center. Bigger truck parking will be tight. Make your appointment online , ZERO walk ups. Day of , wait outside. I liken it to being on the guest list of a club , DMV bouncer looks you up on their clipboard , checks you off and gives you a wristband. Yes seriously. You then go through the doors to wait , they are making sure to stay Covid compliant. You get a number on a piece of paper, wait to be called to a window. Somebody behind the plexi-glass will help you with whatever you may be there for. Jill helped me. She was very nice , very patient. I had lots of papers that she needed to see, some were not able to be used but she looked at every single thing I brought and checked with supervisors and she made things work. After Jill helped me , she passed my papers off to be scanned and uploaded and I took my photo with Richard . These two are nice people . You get a temporary ID and the actual one comes in 7-10 days in the mail. I was there for about and hour and so I would say plan for that. Also, please consider being an organ donor, I donated my kidney awhile back and that person is still alive. You too can help save lives. read more

The woman working the check in desk is insanely rude for no reason. I am partially blind and couldn't figure out how to set an appointment on the computer. I came in and she basically screamed at me that I needed to make an appointment. She then threw a paper at me to read to set an appointment. When I tried to explain to her that I had issues seeing and that's why I came in she told me "I can't help you. You can either set an appointment at the computer or online." And then ignored me. For a state agency it really is not accessible to those with disabilities. She made me cry on the way home. I am still no closer to getting my ID. I am sure this location is lovely. But the woman working the check in desk is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Mean, rude and unpleasant. read more

Trish and the gang give the DMV a good name. Now I don't have chat it up with the bartender before they are tempted to card me with my expired CA DL (cuz of my youthful and Adonis looks). Now I don't worry because I got my CO temporary drivers license in 15m. I didn't think I could do that with an expired CA DL till Yummi(?) informed me that I could, also in a pleasant manner (is this the DMV or the Grand Hyatt)?! Hoping this reaches Kevin who works at this office. What a kind, kind, helpful person. As someone who's wallet was stolen and had some extra difficulties getting new ID, he was helpful, resourceful, and went well out of his way to make sure I knew what I needed to do. He remembered me when I came back and ensured I was taken care of. Everyone I spoke to (3 employees) were nice, efficient, and pleasant. This is a great location. Omg Kevin is amazing!! In case there is a chance there are two Kevin's, he has red hair and glasses!! He was so extremely nice to me I cannot believe it. He helped me so genuinely and I've never had that experience in a DMV before. It was a rough day for me and I was getting my license to fight a court case so I was extremely blessed to have him help me.
