DriverEdToGo - I used promo code x43-add-b4m to get a discount on top of the great price. - Driving Schools Near Me - Garden Grove, California

This service was not only cheap but the best in terms of learning, quizzing and making sure you understand the material being taught. I love, love, love them and would encourage you to learn wi them as well!! read more

Quite good, they give you a big list of lessons and mini tests that allow you to challenge yourself. The final test at the end is given as many times as you need. My experience with the customer service was nice as well, they all responded almost immediately. The only downside is the price they charge but it's not a bad option. read more

Safe Pal / Drivers Ed to go was a horrible experience. They offered 3 lessons, only gave 1 and handed off certificate. I wasn't pleased at all and asked for the rest of the lessons for my daughter, they gave 1 more short lesson. Looks like they just want to collect money without providing proper lessons. Very disappointed.. would like a refund! read more

Avoid. There's better sites with better service. We paid extra for reviews and other nickle and dime charges only for half of them to not work. Reviews of the chapter tests were coming back with server issues so our son couldn't even see the correct answers to questions he'd missed. We paid for a digital certificate on completion, but clicking on the link resulted in a "invalid URL" error page. Upon calling, we were informed that they don't even support WA except as instructional. Their certificate is useless for us. My wife and I tried to ensure we found a site that supported WA for our son. It was VERY unclear on their site and completely misleading. Basically, find a different site. This one is horrible. If you HAVE to use their site, be EXTREMELY sure their certificates are valid in your state. read more

the experience was great with them their customer services was excellent the website charged me twice and I didn't notice but they made me aware of that and refunded my money. I was able to get my certificate in one minute after completing the final exam read more

Run from this company! You will see this review in many places because I want get the word out about how bad this company is! This was 1 of 3 companies our state was allowing homeschoolers to use for Drivers Ed (if in VA use FirstTimeDriver.com, same price and much better customer service). We paid for the course on Aug 19,2024, and the website said in 2 different places my son had 6 months to complete. On Feb 16, upon signing in to finish the 90 min parent/child portion, we are informed that the account expired. Customer service said we only had 180 days, which I explained is not the same thing as 6 months as August, October, December, and January have 31 days in them. Nowhere does the site say 180 days, only 6 months. During the time we had the account, the site has been down several times causing my son to not be able to log in. 24/7 customer service-NOPE, they are offline when you need them. Also, in the actual course, you have to wait a ridiculous amount of time per page (ex. Chap. 6 has 6 html pages with the average website textbook text. My son had to wait 40 mins before he could go to page 3 and on page 3 he had to wait 60 minutes before he could go to page 4. I thought he was exaggerating, so I sat with him and verified these times. My 3rd grader read page 3 in 15 mins and we still sat for another 45 before he could move on!) Chap 1 is all about getting a permit, but you have to have your permit before you can take this course! I could go on and on about what needs to be done better. But they will not give us the time I paid for, nor my money back. We were told we were out of luck, and I said I would review, so here it is. Choose ANY OTHER company, for your own sanity! read more

The site was easy to navigate just wish it had the voice included instead of asking for another $4.99 for that feature to be turned on. Overall great and can complete in one day if you only focus on this. read more

The site lags a lot. The time limits on each page are not always reasonable. The customer service was good though. I asked a question and they responded within the hour. read more

Virginia passed a law in summer 2022 requiring students to complete a 90 minute component in addition to the classroom portion of drivers ed. Rather than put new enrollments on hold, they continued to accept new students who then worked on the program until they couldn't any longer. My daughters have been held up for 3 weeks now, unable to move forward whild DETG works things out with the DMV. My biggest complaint is that rather than notifying their existing students/parents, they have not said a word, unless a customer chats in. Very poor customer service and I cannot recommend anyone use them. read more

This place is a scam. They will purposefully not mail you the certificate in hopes you will forget and pay them another $15 for reissuing the certificate. Stay away. I bought this course for my son and deeply dissapointed with how many issues I have had. I should not have gone with the cheapest option. read more

Totally shady sales tactics!!! They advertise $12 coarse for CA but if you log-in from another computer, they try and charge you $29.99. Any company with these type tactics is best avoided!!! If they will rob you from the start, who knows what else is waiting down the road after they already have your money. Combine this with the fact that they hold your certificate hostage unless you pay for their super expensive expedited mail service and I'm convinced! Lots better companies out there for as little as $9 for the whole coarse INCLUDING EXPEDITED SHIPPING!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Do not use!!!! You will wait forever for your certificate. Turns out they hold the certificates until they get a batch of 200-250 before mailing. I'm guessing for bulk mail rate discount. Like others, we have been waiting for 4 weeks and still no certificate, and we live 65 miles from the mailing location! It's a shame that the company has no good business practices because my son liked the software. I've used other software in the past and received the certificate within a week, so i know it is possible to process them quickly! read more

TOTALLY AGREE with the Previous review regarding the time line getting the certificate on time. Wish I woudve read the reviews. It has taken A MONTH since my daughter completed it and they are telling it is because its COVID (LMAO) and because I choose USPS....well, I live 45min from their offices it should only take 2-3 days MAX....PLUS mail gets to my family in the EAST coast in 3-4 days!!! THEN they are telling me not to count Saturday because it is not a business day...LOL!! dont get get mail on Saturdays??? They just want to squeeze money out of you! FIND ANOTHER COMPANY! I reported them to DMV because there was a reason my daughter completed it early to make sure we had time to get the certificate, now we are 2 weeks until then and I still dont have it! read more

THE LITERAL WORST!!! My daughter had the absolute WORST time trying to get through this course. EVERY single time she attempted to login, it did not recognize her voice and locked her out. It took ages for her certificate to finally show up, and when it did they had misspelled her last name. When we called to have it fixed, they made me pay $25 to have it reprinted stating it was "my fault". THEN - they sent it to a driving school in town we have never stepped foot into. Oh wait, there's more.... When it was time for my daughter to do the driving portion, we needed Drivers Ed to Go to transfer the certificate to the actual driving school in our town. You guessed it - another $25. My daughter finished these online classes in June. We received the transfer certificate on November 9. It has been one headache after another and a constant waiting game for them to send us what we need. Worst company I've ever had to deal with. read more

This company takes FOREVER to process your certificate and to mail it. If you are looking into the online route to get your training and certificate sooner, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Your certificate will arrive about a week after you pass your DMV written test. read more

First you have an hour for each page. Even if there is only one paragraph, you cannot move forward. If you do not push forward at the hour you have to sign back in and wait another hour. Second, you have 180 days from the time you purchase to complete. There is no warning, you are just told your 180 days has expired and you must pay again to continue. Do not waste your money on this, just buy drivers Ed.com read more

If I could give them a zero I would. The certificate of completion didn't have the right name and they wanted to charge me 30$ to get a duplicate sent to me. And told me it was because it was on special paper. It's not it's just regular paper and regular ink. Complete waste of your money for one simple name. I can just imagine what else they will over charge on. And be careful folks because I didn't even know this was a third party that my actual driving company was using. What a scam. read more

Do not use!! I paid for overnight shipping to make sure we would get the certificate in time. They took the money right away and it's 5 days later and I still don't have the certificate. When I called they don't really seem to be concerned about my inconvenience. My appointment is today and the next appointment at any of the closest 5 DMVs are 2 months out. They won't do anything for the inconvenience they caused me. They informed me that they just shipped it out snail mail but haven't even refunded me the overnight shipping expenses. I guess I will have to get my lawyer involved. This isn't right. read more

Great online program if you like to be conned into spending more money along the way. They will "just find out" that you need additional programs before unlocking the test, then require additional payments to expedite your completion certificate because of their delays. Postmark date was TEN DAYS after confirmation of their mailing - and of course they blamed the shipper. I'm certain there's a much better value elsewhere. read more

no stars!!!!!!! as of now its over 30 days and no certificate received to show proof to dmv. but i paid in fulll that charge was made quickly no issue getting chared but it states you get your certificate in 7-10 days not very accurate or truthful. still havent got the certificate i paid in full for it and completed the hours. read more

The worst experience ever paid 105 dollars to complete course and have certificate shipped next day. I am located in CA also is says same day processing and 35 dollars to have shipped and received by 5 pm next day. They are telling me they do not ship on weekends. No where does it say this on their site. They put me on hold to find out where it states this and never came back. Stated they would refund by 35 dollars but not the money for the course because we completed it. I paid for rush shipping because we need it by Monday. DO NOT USE!! HORRIBLE read more

This school is horrible. I got an email saying my child's in car certificate was mailed 1st week of May but I never got it. I called again last week and I asked why we never got it. They claimed they sent it but I don't buy it. I have gotten mails from my family in California and I have gotten them. It was really frustrating. This school was just recommended to me. Please do not sign up to this school. They do not send you the certificates then when you call them they will offer some shit so they can take more money from you if want your certificate. read more

Horrible!!! Error in finishing class "Maximum Time Limit Reached" every day even though we could not even log in. Customer service keeps disconnecting me when I try to call to report. read more

Beware! They delay giving your certificate when you pass for 7 to 10 days unless you pay extra!!! Horrible business practice holding eager kids hostage unless they pay up!!! read more

Daughter completed the course online. They wanted her to travel out of our area to finish more requirements. Would not give money back. And would not enter certifiate in the SDC. She already had her permit. Stay away from this company. They are a joke. read more

This company is a scam. It so no where while I was signing up that my son would have to be homeschooled. He is not, he is enrolled in public schools. He got an email the moment I enrolled saying he has to be homeschooled. I called immediately (within 5 minutes) of processing payment to cancel his acccount and request a refund. This was on May 11. It is May 19, and still no refund. I spoke to them on May 15, and they assured me a refund was requested. Today I call PayPal and start a fraud case. They are a scam company. Protect yourself! read more

ABSOLUTE JOKE! Your certificate will not come in a reasonable time even if you upgrade. In some areas it takes months to get an appointment at DMV! There are so many upsells you do not know what you need and what you do not. I even upgraded to what looked like FED EX delivery after their rant about how usps is risking it. They sent it USPS signature required and I was not home. Now we are sitting waiting for redelivery by lovely usps and my daughter has a flight booked to go take her test in California TODAY! They do not inform you a digital file is useless either. They also try to sell you this BS thing. Nor will they even try to help you get a replacement on time and they are RUDE!! Give your business to someone else. They make so much money they legit do not give a cr@p abuot customer experience. Also the videos are 100 years old! Don't use your pager and drive! Give me a break! 0 stars. read more

Awful customer service - I've been trying to get my certificate for insurance so I can get a discount. They refuse to email it so when I ask if they can mail it all they say is that it's too old to be valid. I don't need it to be valid. Then I don't get a response. I called and was on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up. I hated dealing with them and now I'm stuck with paying 200 extra a year for insurance. It's useless to take this class because you won't be able to put it on your insurance. read more

X3E-B67-23B is the promo code I used!!! Very easy school!!!

Very useful, informative, and easy to understand lessons. I had accidentally disabled my account by answering a security question wrong because I wasn't paying attention. I called their customer service and the problem was resolved in just a couple minutes with I talked to being very nice. I'd recommend this to any other student driver's out there. read more

BEWARE! Took the day off work to take my son to DMV for the test, only to find out we had a bogus certificate. As it was we had to call several times to get the certificate we have, only now to find out its no good. Apparently they have different courses that you pay for and this was not the right one, VERY MISLEADING! You think someone would have told me in the 3 different times we called (Why would we keep calling for this meaningless certificate.) Total waste of my time and money and guy on the phone just told me to "Well, have a nice day" read more

The actual course was easy, but there were somethings about it that bothered me. The curriculum does not look professional; there are LOTS of incorrectly spelled words, grammatical errors, among other errors that you wouldn't expect to see from a professional curriculum. Also, it did not always explain things well. I am a 4.2 GPA high school student and I had a really hard time figuring out what the heck they were talking about sometimes. As far as the whole not-recieving-certificates-on-time thing, I just finished the curriculum a few days ago, so I'm not sure how it will work out for me. However, I do know that one of my friends did the same curriculum and got her certificate fine. The most annoying thing about this curriculum is it did NOT teach a lot of signs, rules of the road, markers, and other things that you NEED to know to pass your permit test. I did some research and found a good website, http://driving-tests.org, that has practice DMV permit tests for all the states. I've only done half of the tests made for my state (California), but some of the questions they have on those tests are things you absolutely need to know to pass your permit test. Drivers Ed To Go did NOT teach me said questions. Some of them are common sense and I could figure them out and some of them were things I already knew, but most of the questions are things that a drivers ed curriculum should teach you. If you just need credits, this is a good curriculum to take. If you actually want to learn something, read the handbook you can get at your local DMV and do the practice tests on the website mentioned above. read more

I would love to give them 0 stars but that doesn't seem to be an option. They mailed my sons certificate to me in my name and then the only way I could get a corrected certificate was to pay a 15.00 fee for them to correct their mistake. Horrible customer service. read more

this was the worst experience i've ever had. i called in for help and after 10 minutes of asking for the manager. who by the way could be heard in the background saying "tell them i'm gone" she finally gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me it's my fault the video isn't working then she tells me to DOUBLE MAKE SURE . i have the right browser WTF does that mean and what professional business would say that. then after arguing with me she just says she will just pass me through to the next part. that's not what i paid for . how many people have just been past through that seems extremely dangerous. i also had a few friends call with the same problem and the lady NORMA offered to pass us all. just found that to be crazy read more
