I went to this dmv 3 times already to get a license. First time, i made the wrong appointment and with very low customer service, the employee tirelessly looks at me like he's just over everything and wants to kill himself and doesn't think he needs to help me. He tells me what i did wrong and i made a new appointment 2 days later. I went there and had everything with me. They said i didn't have a CERT and my school has to put it in my record. "What is CERT" i asked. the lazy employee with 0 ambition to help me with anything says "just tell your school they'll know." Then i have to go back to school and make THIRD appointment and asked my lazy blonde fat pig advisor to put in my CERT, she said "ok." She printed out a paper and put it in the envelope and told me not to open it and to give it to the employee at the dmv. I said "but they said it has to be online" and she said "dont worry i know what im doing" I held it with me for 9 days until the third appointment and i gave it to them. Every time there was a new employee who always looked drowsy for some reason and this time he told me "wheres your parent, they need to be here with you" because he's just so nasty asking for more stuff then required. I had my ID and permit with me basically everything and i told him that. Then he said "ok let me see them" i showed them to him and he checked them and asked me "your CERT isnt on your records" i said "yeah i told my advisor to put it and she gave me this envelope, here open it." He told me to open it like it was contaminated or something and i opened it and what my fat pig advisor printed out was my report card! Like wtf would i need it for!! I dont even blame them anymore because shes just a fat pig who only works for money! Not the satisfaction of her students! But same goes with the pig employees! All they care about is their paycheck and their next meal! Theyre all pigs! Disgusting nasty pigs! Then i got the fuck out and im not planning on coming back! And the worst part was my fucking drivers ed class i took wasnt even on my fucking report card! I lost all hope in this dmv and all its employees may god help them. read more

They lost some of paperwork, the number they gave me belonged to someone else, there was a huge line and a two and half hour wait. Well I passed and the woman who graded my test and got me a good number that belongs to me was very nice and helpful! read more

Examiner, John Roberts failed me during my driver's test for stopping at a stop sign. I came to full stop at every sign but his reasoning for failing me was that my front bumper was hovering over the line when I was stopped. I have been driving with my permit for over a year and I have driven around 70-80 hours with my parents, John Duffy is at least a 75 year old man that decided it was justifiable to fail somebody for a reason like that after spending 2.5 hours in line at their Secretary of State which has 4 examiners with well over 25 cars in line at a time on a busy Tuesday. I have no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have gotten a single point off if someone else watched me. The elderly man can't financially himself at that old age so he decided to get a job at a DMV getting paid 13 dollars an hour and using his power by wasting people's time. If you get a test here and an old man walks up to your car, tell him that you want to test with someone else. read more

The wait was way too long, although it was organized and the employees were respectful and friendly. Took 4+ hours for only a drivers permit! The test doesn't take long at all but the line is straight up hell!!! read more

I have gone to this facility for a number of years. Yesterday I went mid-morning to renew my vehicle sticker. There was a long line for other services but only three waiting for sticker renewal, and quite a few stations. I was through in just a few minutes, and that included getting questions answered. The woman directing traffic was also pleasant. Good service for me! read more

I'm always surprised by how quick this location is. Got in about 2pm, out of there before 2:30pm. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Renewed my license, they explained I'd get a temporary or until it came in the mail. Hope it's always like this. read more

I was discriminated against because of what feels like my skin color. After standing in like with someone I was told I could not go sit with the applicants because I was not in need of any services. I then proceeded to stand there and watch as 11 other people where let behind so they could be with their familys. Surprisingly none of those people were the same race as me. Will not be returning specifically because of the toothless hillbilly security guard. read more

The staff at the Bridge view DMV looked tired but we're very helpful. I saw them work non-stop while waiting to pay cashier. Very professional staff. I hope they all stay healthy with this covid-19 pandemic. read more

I've been going here for the last 2 years and went about 4 Times...good service except for this one lady gave me a hard time and I got out of line...I approached a supervisor and he put me back with the same lady and they gave me what I needed...,but overall it's always crowded!! And they do what they can for the amount of people vs employees! read more

Worst DMV and the employees don't know how to treat people. I overheard on lady calling a customer "brain dead" I was shocked how at how rude and condescending the employees were. The driving instructor he was the rudest person I ever met and told my mom very rudely to "get out of the car". Also he brought another person to train her as a new employee which was very annoying and shouldn't be allowed if a person is testing, it could make then more nervous or distract them. They should be informed and trained on there own time not when people are testing. read more

I usually dreadddddd going to the dmv! But today I had the best experience ever.. I went to get my drivers license for the first then and I was soooo nervous, like I wanted to vomit nervous. The guy that assisted me at the counter was super nice and calmed me down. Very helpful joked with me and made me less nervous. For my driving test I had Anthony! He was so helpful and he too noticed how nervous I was. He told me to relax and made my driving test so much of a better experience. He was so nice and encouraging and more importantly friendly. I passed my test! And I'm thankful for the help I received read more

I was impressed how organized this place was. People were actually friendly also. It was the first time in 8 years I had to renew my license. The last time I went to Midlothian which was not bad. But this place was a little crowded and I was out of there in 35 minutes.... read more

Like any government office, it is an absolute s*** show. Trying to get a hold of anybody to ask a simple question over the phone is a joke and impossible. It's as if nobody is at their desk or anywhere near their phone. Working hard or hardly working! read more

I visited this facility today around 11am and the wait was normal(20 mins). Everything went smoothly until I went to pay. The cashier insisted my voter registration was incomplete, which it wasn't. I was sent back and forth about 3 times and finally came back to pay. I had my fathers debit card and I was not able to pay with it(legal reasons?). I then had to walk to the bank and pull money out. Overall my experience was okay. The cashier Raymond was super helpful and nice. He apologized for everything and took care of me in a timely matter. read more

Even with their system down they manage to get my written exam and driving test done. Yes it took more than 2 hours but that's what happens when you come in during lunch hour. The staff was flustered but a simple smile and thank you goes far! Very professional! read more

I came here on a Wednesday afternoon 4:00pm . It was empty , The employees at this DMV are very nice and friendly. I did not wait long at all. :) read more

It was a horrible experience. The supervisor with the oxygen mask on speaks to people in a condescending and sarcastic manner which is uncalled for and disrespectful. If she doesn't love her job she might as well retired. She shouldn't be spreading her negativity to those that come there because they are trying to follow the law. If this had a no star option I would give it 0 stars just because the people working there are there for a paycheck and need additional training on how to speak to people and change their demeanor and attitude. read more

I was dreading coming here to get my plates renewed. When I saw the line that was out the door, my heart sank. It was like 96 degrees and I figured I'd be there all day. Lucky for my, a man came out and announced that all license plates people could go to a separate line and get taken care of there. After that I was out in less than ten minutes. read more

I went to the Bridgeview DMV at 10:30 AM on Saturday March 14th. There was a long line outside which wasn't totally unexpected due to the real ID situation. At 11:00 AM there were approximately 50 people in front of me. Not a terrible number. They announced that they would not be able to service any more real ID's and that we should go to another facility. Note: They were open until 2PM. We drove to Midlothian and stepped into the line there that had approximately 60 or so people in front of us at 11:30 AM. By 1:00 PM we were finished with out business. The DMV in Bridgeview didn't want to work with the people waiting. I told the nice person who helped me with my real ID in Midlothian what we experienced and she was shocked. She smiled and said "we welcome everyone here". What a nice way to end a terrible experience. Actually everyone in Midlothian was pleasant. I will never go to Bridgeview again even though it is less than 3 miles from my home. read more

this dmv bridgeview facility is too slow and unorganized. too many people here. with limited dmv staff.

My experience at the DMV in Bridgeview was very positive. I was there on Tuesday, Sept. 13. It was relatively crowded, yet the lines moved quickly --when I first arrived, I was happy to see that there was a separate registration line for senior citizens which moved along very nicely. I needed a vision and road test - wait times between the tests was minimal, considering the crowd. Every employee that I had contact with was very courteous, helpful and friendly. I was very nervous about the road test, and the young lady who tested me was wonderful -- she made me feel comfortable and I was no longer apprehensive about taking the test. After having read some awful reviews on this website, I was expecting the worst - this was definitely not the case. This facility is very well run, the people know their jobs and perform them efficiently, and they were extremely helpful to me in all areas. If you need to go to the DMV for any reason, I highly recommend the Bridgeview facility -- they run a tight ship and they take care of their customer's needs. read more
