The line moved pretty quickly for only 2 people working there and within 5 minutes I was at the front. They were not able to offer what I needed (a title in my hands that day) but did give me a map to where I could get an instant re-issue and were extremely nice about the whole thing. Thinking back, I've had to wait, but if you don't go right at 11:50 you can get in and out in a jiffy.. the place can only handle 3 clerks and about 6 people inside, which is a pain sometimes, but for a govt office it moves. One thing to beware of is people putting on their stickers in the parking lot. They're easy to run over and may mess up your finish.

The DMV in Lebanon was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had…read more The woman working the front door, Miss More, was shockingly rude and condescending from the moment we walked in. Three of us entered at the same time, and instead of greeting us professionally, she repeatedly barked, "What can I do for you? What can I do for you?" in an aggressive tone. The person in front of me was clearly trying to get their infant situated, yet she continued raising her voice instead of showing basic patience or courtesy. Since I was third in line, I assumed she was addressing the first two individuals. When no one immediately responded, she turned to me with visible irritation and repeated the question with attitude. After asking for my documents, I handed her my folder. She then snapped at me to remove everything from it myself, again in a raised, hostile tone. There was absolutely no professionalism, no courtesy and no attempt at respectful communication. Customer service at a government facility should reflect professionalism and respect for the public. Instead, this experience felt unnecessarily combative and demeaning. I genuinely believe someone representing the state of Tennessee in a front facing role should demonstrate far better interpersonal skills. I would rather drive all the way to Nashville to receive competent and courteous service than return to this location. The poor reviews now make perfect sense. I would not recommend this DMV to anyone.
