The driving lessons I took from him helped me develop enough courage and confidence to drive on road without any issues which eventually helped me crack the road drive test. I generally don't leave reviews, however; I felt that I should share my experience for others to see.  I needed to and wanted to learn driving, but did not know which class to take or who to work with. I read reviews for various school however; Drive Right Driving School stood out to me. I contacted the school and spoke with Mr. Suleman. He asked me a few general questions to gage what type of classes would be suitable for me. He gave me a couple different options but stated that purchasing a package would be a better option and it would save me money.  I was a bit apprehensive on my first day of class because you never know how the instructor will be if you make a mistake; however, right from our first meeting Mr. Suleman was so kind and soft spoken that I immediately felt at ease. He advised me not to be nervous and when we sat in the car he explained all the car features, functions, and driving rules.  I specifically appreciated how Mr. Suleman remains calm, and speaks so respectfully. Mr. Suleman is very professional and knowledgeable and he shares his experiences with you and provides insight on how to be an excellent driver. It was refreshing to see an instructor who truly cares about the success of their students. This is the best driving school if you want consistent teaching experience. I had taken lessons with another school but every instructor used to have different style of teaching and each will have their own preference of driving which is very confusing as a new driver. Being a bit nervous driver and never drove car before, Gulzar Mam helped me over come my nervousness she is very clam while teaching and gives useful tips of safe driving, this helped me gain driving confidence. My friend referred me to Drive Right Driving School based on his good experience he'd with them. I took my lessons from Instructor Sulaiman, he is very professional, experienced, friendly and very patient. He started with the basics, after couple of classes I started seeing my confidence on road and driving skills getting improved. I had the unfortunate reality of having Suleman as my instructor. For each 2 hour lesson he would spend the first 20-30 minutes telling absurd stories about how people didn't check there mirror and proceeded to lose their job. Additionally, he would cut each lesson short by 10 minutes, but still charge for that. For whatever reason he had a problem with people wearing shorts, and proceeded beret me about it. The original plan for me was to learn how to drive in 5 lessons, which is very possible. However, he delayed each lesson so much, in the end he made me purchase 3 more lessons(few hundred dollars) in order to 'complete the set'. He would only teach "backing around the corner" to me 30minutes before my actual driving exam. And each lesson felt like I was getting indoctrinated on how he is such a great driving instructor. Honestly, if you want to feel like you are getting manipulated go to this driving school. If you just want the written exam, they are efficient here, but do not go for the driving lessons. I steer my friends away from going here for lessons. read more

Me and my sister took learning class for knowledge test. best instructor Gulzar ever. she went throw whole book not only she translated in Hindi and Guajarati. also, she tried to explain all the questions we had patently and also translate in Hindi and Guajarati. Scary. Please don't go. I Scheduled for driving class+test. First thing they are very expensive and second there is no confirmation of the schedule. Neither by email nor by SMS. I took first class with Mrs. Gulzar and for second class I was sure that it was Sunday. But she came one day before and said it was Saturday not Sunday. I was sure that it was Sunday but still I apologized and requested for Sunday. But she did not agree and was asking extra money for that class. I requested many time but She did not came. Finally I left arguing with her and thought of going somewhere else for class and test. So she took $370 from me (2 class + test) but I joined only one class. Is this ethical? Also, one of my friend was taking class from her and one day She didn't came and She schedule again some other day. So, if She can reschedule for her personal work/problem why can't for others? Anyways, I went for class and test some other school and I passed paying very less amount. read more

Had an appointment with Drive Right for a knowledge test. I was called the night before and asked if I could push the appointment back 2 hours. I agreed as things do come up. The day of my appointment they called 2 hours before my test and asked if it could be pushed back again to 7pm. I had already pushed back plans for the first reschedule. I was very nervous for car driving and even for learning. I was looking for driving school who can teach me over weekend and I got reference of Drive Right Driving School from one of my colleague. Ms Gulzar scheduled my classes over weekend at convenient times. Drop and pick up from residence was very good and convenient service from school. Ms. Gulzar's teaching was very systematic. She is very clam while teaching. Many people start shouting when student make mistake on road, which makes things worst. I too made mistakes while learning but she guided me with lots of patience and she is always friendly, which helped me a lot to gain driving confidence. My father recently immigrated from India this summer and we wanted to get his drivers license done. Standing in those DOL lines can be pain, so I was recommended by the DOL to try one of the certified testing centers and thats how I came across Drive Right Driving School. They were able to give a quick date for the written test and then 2 lessons the same week and my father was able to take his driving test the same weekend. It's very expensive to get a driving license in WA! The driving school has a tight schedule but upon requesting they were able to accommodate in their schedule. The charges are reasonable and they threw in pickup and drop off in the package, that was very helpful. The previous school I went to gave classes from testing perspective and expected students to practice general driving outside the class. As a person with less confidence on driving and not having a car, it was almost impossible for me to practice on my own. Being new to the US of A, getting a driving license was the most basic necessity. Since I was driving since a decade back in Asia and just wanted to get a feel of left-handed driving over here before I actually hit the road, I decided to join a driving school. Happened to spot a flyer of Drive Right Driving school at a store nearby and spent no time in calling the office. After letting me know the fees an other details, The instructor Ms.Gulzar picked me up at my residence and knowing my driving experience back in Asia, suggested I take a package of 8 classes of 2 hours each, which she said was more than enough to get used to driving here. This would include all the basic things like getting to know Road signs and signals, Changing lanes, parking uphill/downhill, Backing up around a curb, Parallel Parking etc. Spread over a month, I had the flexibility of taking the class anytime I wanted and just had to inform the school a day in advance about my preferred timings. Since the pickup-drop was free, I did not have t worry about getting back home by myself. The instructor, Ms Gulzar was very proficient and methodical in teaching the ways to change lanes efficiently, Backing up and Parallel parking. She explains things in such a simple manner that one tends to find parallel parking, which is considered to be the most toughest, the easiest among all the things learnt at the end of the day. I would easily recommend Drive Right to anyone who is new to driving or to someone like me, who was new to left-handed driving. I got my license today and all credit goes to Ms.Gulzar who has made me feel more confident on the road and had strengthened my basics of driving a car. read more
