I made an appt with this center to do my fingerprinting, but when I arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment, there was a "closed" sign on the door. I called to check if that was a mistake, but the man who answered said that he had to make a run to the DMV and would be back 15 minutes after my appt time. My concern wasn't that I had an appointment on the books and he left anyway, but his attitude about my appointment not seeming to be a priority for him and any consideration for his clients' time. Several others walked up while I was here and left. I ultimately made an appointment with another facility. As a busy professional, my time is valuable and without at least an apology, I found this kind of service to be pretty disrespectful. read more

Scammed me out of $234. New guy at the front charged me $600+ (overcharged me $234) for changing my title over and retrieving CA license plates. They said they would refund me the $234 back immediately and to wait 2 weeks. After two weeks with no refund, I called back and was told he will process it now and to wait another 2 weeks. After no word or refund after another 2 weeks, I called again and this time he needed his boss to return from vacation to issue the refund (so he lied about already refunding TWICE). Never heard another word from them or ever received the refund. I would suggest going elsewhere. Unprofessional, liars, and scammers. read more

OMG!!! These guys are lifesavers!!! After hours DMV!!! No line, super friendly and very helpful!!! I couldn't renew my vehicle registration online so at first I went to the DMV in San Ysidro and the line was out the door at 4pm on a Friday!?! Left, picked up the kids, and googled. The California DMV is a total mess, i went the drive me group to take care of a suspended car reg. Before I went to the drive me group I tried looking up my car reg on line and by phone but nothing came up. So I went in and paid the 13 fee and the 20 fee from the drive me group. It took two days but they got the reg reinstated. The state of California is the biggest pain in the ass to deal with. read more

I didn't catch the man's name when I walked in. But his attitude was off putting from jump, I walked in and no one was at the desk, so I politely just waited till he came out (maybe I interrupted a phone call). I told him I just wanted to get my tags renewed, and he begrudgingly sat down and started clicking and typing things on his computer. As I stood there I filled out their paperwork and handed him my ID. I was in my everyday military uniform and he asked if I was stationed here or if I lived in California. I told him I lived and was stationed here and he told me with slight attitude that he couldn't give me a discount, which I didn't ask for and was fine paying what the dmv was asking for ($286). When he rang me up, my total was now surprisingly $327 and when I went to pay with card it was coming in at $352!! How in the hell does it jump almost $70 more dollars to get some funky ass stickers?! So I asked him to clarify and showed him the card reader (which was now having its own issues) and he now was upset because I "broke" his reader (it's fine btw, just technical issues). I asked for my registration paperwork back and left (after we both made sure my card wasn't charged). While I praise them for their accessibility and quickness, I'd rather stand in line at the dmv to pay their fees than this astronomical amount read more
