The people here seem to revel in telling me "too bad. We're out. You're going to have to wait at least 2 hours." There wasn't a single "sorry" or "we regret" or anything else in there. Nobody offered me water or a kind word or anything else. It reminded me of the South Park episode where the cable company employees get off on making things as difficult and horrible as possible for customers. In case you're wondering, no it's not because of the language barrier. I speak fluent German. These folks suck! Ok, after sitting here and allowing my rage to flow into this review they put me in a minivan. It's way bigger than I want or need, but at least I can get out out of here now. Up one star for finally doing something.

They acknowledged the issue and claimed it was forwarded to their international team--but since then, complete silence. All I received was a copy of the rental agreement, which does nothing to resolve the actual problem. No updates, no accountability, and definitely no refund. Avis's customer support is useless once they've taken your money. The delay is unacceptable, and their lack of follow-through shows how little they value their customers--especially those renting internationally. If you're considering renting from Avis, don't. They are quick to charge and slow--or completely unwilling--to resolve issues. Save yourself the stress and choose a company that actually responds when something goes wrong.

However the Staff at Herz closed the door RIGHT infront of us, having nothing to say to us besides "schade - you have to go to the airport". The confirmation i received from Hertz did not say anything about Hertz closing ridiclously early on a Saturday (12.00). So bad Customer service and I will never use Hertz again!! Obviously we arrived late at the Wedding.
