This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Over a month ago, I contacted Avis about disputed charges on an international rental. They acknowledged the issue and claimed it was forwarded to their international team--but since then, complete silence.
All I received was a copy of the rental agreement, which does nothing to resolve the actual problem. No updates, no accountability, and definitely no refund.
Avis's customer support is useless once they've taken your money. The delay is unacceptable, and their lack of follow-through shows how little they value their customers--especially those renting internationally.
If you're considering renting from Avis, don't. They are quick to charge and slow--or completely unwilling--to resolve issues. Save yourself the stress and choose a company that actually responds when something goes wrong. read more
