I have been going to Cavi Spa for the past 5 years on and off and it has been amazing!! I have spent over $2,000 with Cavi Spa between skin care products and services. I will now explain my last and FINAL ENCOUNTER. At the beginning of 2019 I had purchased two microdermabrasion with mask specials and I had only used one. I was off from school in December 2019 and decided that I should use my other microdermabrasion and mask as a treat to myself for Christmas. I go into the room everything is fine and everything is clean no issue there. After Vicki finishes the microdermabrasion, I said can I have a different mask from the clay mask. She asks me why and I say " I have always gotten that one when I have come here so I want to try something different now". She said " I have a new mask anyway and the one we were using prior I no longer use." I said ok.. now here comes the terrible part I'm laying on the table I look over at her as she takes out the mask to prepare it... and to my surprise it is SHEA MOISTURE MUD MASK! How do I know this?!?! Because you purchase shea moisture at Target, Walmart, CVS , etc. ALSO, I HAVE THE SAME MASK AT HOME THAT I BOUT FROM TARGET FOR $10!! So you're telling me I came to a spa to have them put a over the counter mask brand on my face? And consider that a professional service? YES! That's exactly what I'm saying!! I'm beyond disappointed and the reason I wrote a review and not say anything to the owner is because I don't know who is the fault for this? She proceeded to put the mask on my face and let it sit for 15 mins. And as she put it on she is talking about how great the mask is blah blah .. I have been using this mask for a long time at home so I know the smell of the product. I didn't say anything because anyone stupid enough to provide cheap customer service deserves a poor review. I honestly don't know why I left a tip at the end, I was still in shock, looking back I should of said something in the moment. But I didn't want anyone to try to talk there way out of it because the bottle was not new which means it has been used on other people. I'm writing this review to help other people, when u go to spas look at what they are putting on your face because if your not careful they are putting products from the 99 cent store. I won't be supporting this business anymore.. and after 5 years of supporting them I am very saddened that I now have to find a new spa to attend , especially since this is so convenient. I have paid for spa quality services and I got something that I use at home, my money has been taken and now everyone should question the services they are receiving. I attended an event at the St. Pete location (not my usual one) and purchased a treatment that needed to be scheduled for a later date. Roughly 10 days later, I learned the St. Pete location had closed. I contacted the Tampa location, was connected to Clearwater, and successfully scheduled my appointment. On the day of the appointment, while I was already on my way to the Countryside location, I received a call canceling it. Staff said they would follow up to reschedule, but I never heard back. I then called the Tampa location every day for a month and received no answer. This sequence of events, selling a treatment at a location that closed shortly afterward, canceling an appointment with no follow-up, and then being unreachable for weeks has left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I no longer feel I can trust the company or its staff. I hope management takes these concerns seriously so other longtime customers don't have the same experience.
