Cherry lime spritz (double pour), old fashioned. $7.50 and $5 during happy hour (4-7PM weekdays)
Vanessa G.

- Vibes: modern rustic, limestone, trendy Austin energy - Crowd: packed at Friday happy hour! - Menu: lots of drink AND food choices - Value for price: 5/5 (strong drinks, delicious and affordable food) - Service: 5/5 (very friendly) - Parking: big lot but it gets full Having tried Deep Eddy's before, I brought my parents here for a taste of Austin liquor and vibes. The dining area is a front/back porch with some heated seating at tables or picnic benches, and there are several high tables/couches inside as well. We showed up on a Friday at 6pm, and had to circle to find parking/wait for a table- it was packed! Definitely arrive early if going for happy hour (4-7pm weekdays). We tried the following tap cocktails ($5 single and $7.50 double pour during happy hour!): - spicy springs: flavorful, not too sweet with a japaleno kick - Cherry lime spritz: no added sugar, light and tastes like a seltzer. Good for lightweights :) - Apple crisp: holiday vibes, sweet, tastes like light spiked cider - Spiced girl: personal favorite/strongest drink, can't taste the gin but the cardamom and lemon are FANTASTIC. Good for heavyweights :) - Big fig: also holiday vibes, also can't taste the gin but the fig and rosemary are aromatic and flavorful And the following food: - Chips + salsa: classic, only $4 for HH - Chicken tinga tacos (3): flavorful, juicy, generous on the meat- my favorite item - Pulled pork nachos: good, not too much meat but yummy toppings and decent portion size - Bbq grilled cheese: rich, meaty, delicious but heavy. Great chaser to the strong drinks!

We wanted to do something for brunch after church and it just so happened that we heard Dripping Springs Distilling was helping support the recovery efforts in Texas after all the floods so we chose this place. The place is very nice - plenty of parking, stuff to do with kids (climbing apparatus, corn hole, etc), and most certainly good food and drink! We chose the "bloody mary bar" - this comes with DSD Vodka, along with a large variety of things to put into your bloody mary from spicy mix to regular tomato juice, to adding bacon, olives, celery, the works! And it is all for one price. We also chose their biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon. All the food and the fancy bloody mary was very good. They make ordering easy thru a QR code at your table. All in all it was a great experience! If you are looking for something new to try, give this place a go. We give it five stars.

10/10 always. We've been here over a dozen times. NOPE we don't see our frequency as any problem other than we LOVE great service, great food, amazing consistent drinks made from scratch and chill vibes which this place always brings. A total gem in Dripping Springs. You will miss it if you are not looking for it because there isn't a huge sign from the main road off 290 right before you get to DreamLand going west. You turn up on a bumpy road and think UM is this where it's supposed to be? Yup! And its awesome. Like pulling up to a Rich Aunt's house who has the best booze stash ever and an awesome backyard to chill and let your kids run around like wild baby chickens. They have a fully fenced in lot so no lost kiddos. Or hubs! The happy hour is Amazing!! The food and drinks you can't go wrong. You scan the qr. pay at your table and magically the drinks and food find you. Its dog and kiddo friendly. Inside (ac) and outside (heaters for the winter) there are plenty of seating. Tv's to watch sports. Food is NOT out of a food truck. They have a mix of tacos, pickle chips, delish fries, grill cheese, burgers, lovely mocktails, tons of reg and seasonal vodka drinks and a nice burbon says the hubs ...1876. I hate writing such a nice review bc its our fav place to hang on the weekends. They also have weekend brunch which we've yet to get our act together and try. Also they have tours.. we've yet to go on this too. One day soon! A must visit for sure!!! Great for a girls night, brunch, date, out with the kiddos. Go support this amazing local spot!!

Dripping Springs Distilling is a lovely distillery just outside of Austin. Here you can enjoy a delicious cocktail, try a variety of foods, and relax both indoors and out. We sat outside, as the weather was nice, but even as it got warmer we had plenty of shade from the canopies of the majestic mature trees on the property. Also, there are yard games and a play area (jungle gym) for kids You can order using a QR code listed on the table. There are so many cocktails to choose from ranging from traditional to incredibly unique. There is also plenty of sharables and finger foods to order When we were there (on a Sunday) there was live music outback. We had a lovely time just enjoying being outdoors... but there is indoor seating as well, and it's just as lovely Some tips: Order multiple sharables for the table like their fried pickles, chips and queso (or guacamole), and hummus tray. I don't know how often this happens, but an hour or so into our visit the kitchen was unreachable through the app, and I was told it was due to a backup of orders in the kitchen. So, order early just in case. Also, there is a Bloody Mary bar where they pour you a glass of vodka and you can add your juice and other garnishes. You also get a discount of vodka refills Cheers!!

Steeping orange in the gin for flavor! With that vat top open, it really smells like herbs

I literally cannot recommend a visit to DSD higher!! I came for a tour with a friend, and true to the west Texas alcohol experience if you will, their tasting room/bar (which is apparently new since 2018) is absolutely stunning!! It has a very modern appearance with an open and bright indoor bar/seating area with lots of natural light (tons of glass windows/glass door leading to the patio). The patio itself is also very inviting with several benches and tables, and they have space heaters and TVs - my friend and I sat outside and enjoyed our drinks for 2 hrs while other groups watched the football game on TV. There is also a little play scape area with swing and slide for kids, and the day we were there, there was a live musician who was singling Christmas songs with a mix-table. Families had their babies in strollers, kids running around playing on the groups, and dogs as well. It was an all-around super family friendly, fun, and inviting space!! As for the tour itself: our guide Steve was super knowledgeable, very friendly, and very easy to talk to! He showed us all of the distilling process, from the special distilling containers they use, to the larger mass producer (Carl), to the packaging area, which also includes the area where they distill their gin and bourbon (since vodka isn't the only thing they make). I actually don't much like vodka from prior experiences, but I came away from this tour with a renewed respect for the flavor of the liquor. Same goes for the gin and bourbon - it was very interesting to try the super high proof gin while in the flavoring process!! You can really smell and taste the flavors that go into it, especially Juniper. On a last note: the tour ends with you trying some bourbon, and you get to keep your DSD shot glass that you drink from. They also give you a token for a drink off the menu, so my friend got the blackberry smash cocktail, and i got the holiday pie since I like sweeter drinks. We both loved what we ordered, and of course they're made with DSD vodka. The bartender was very friendly and explained all the drinks we asked about too. Overall: DSD is a new favorite spot of mine, even though I've never been a liquor person (other than in cocktails - which they do of course have!). The place is inviting, and very comfortable to sit and hang out. Since they sell food too, you could easily come and spend several hours just hanging out here. It's accessible from Austin with a car (only like 20-30 min out from south Austin); if you're in the city and like trying drinks, I cannot rec paying a visit enough!

We really enjoyed our visit to Dripping Springs distillery. The staff there were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our tour guide Seville (hope I didn't butcher his name) was Awesome and he also helped me thief my own two 375ml bottles of 8yr bourbon. Can't wait to come back. Cheers

Great tasting room with enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Ambiance is like a high end Napa winery, but Vodka instead of wine. They have indoor seating. Three bars. Plenty of outdoor tables and chairs too. They manufacture Dripping Springs Vodka, as well as lemon and orange flavored Vodka. They also offer Gin and botanical Gin. All spirits are made on premises. For me, Dripping Springs is my favorite and all I buy, so very cool to visit where it is made. They have food but we didn't eat, although it looked good. Most staff are great. A couple of grumpy too cool attitude types management should move out. I didn't waste time with em, just walked over to someone that was smiling and pleasant, which is almost all of the staff.

I did what I could with what they had. My pancake plate is stone cold and pretty inedible. All thanks to the omelet guys only!

This review is only for their Mother's Day buffet. We had a reservation at 1 pm and got there at 1:12 pm, due to looking for parking spots. The handicap situation is illegal and needs to be looked into, among other things. Most of our party was already there. There was a ton of confusion at the door as we tried to figure out what was paid for, what name it was under, and get an all-important blue wristband. They were completely unprepared at the door, and took forever, and acted like we were trying to sneak in. The lady kept repeating a bunch of rules about reservations over and over and when she couldn't find our name, never asked if maybe it was under a different name, basically just told us too bad, and we were forced to go in and track down our family members. There wasn't a cash box so we had to wait and go to the bar to pay. She was completely going to let me pay for my mother twice. Like, you can't even make it up! It was embarrassing and frustrating and you guys just completely ruined a lot of people's day. I hugged two separate ladies in the line outside and later another in the omelet line, who also complained about what transpired next. By the time we sat down, most of our party besides us was done eating! There weren't enough seats for everyone in our group, we had to ask other tables for chairs, and the buffet was absolutely abysmal. Embassy Suites free buffet is better. Everything looked like it was sitting out for hours. Biscuits weren't cooked all the way through and like dough. Pancakes were stone cold. Potatoes were drier than the Sahara. Syrup was cold. Pico De Gallo wasn't replenished even though we had a reservation. There were crumbs and the buffet line was dirty as seen in this photo. There were a ton of kids in this room and that giant knife sat there for hours. Any one of them could have walked up and grabbed it. I wonder just how many health code inspector violations were breached as nothing was even lukewarm. This event went on until 5 pm, but a lot of stuff was gone by 1! There was no salsa. There was no ketchup. How do you have omelets without appropriate condiments? They made sure to make Waffle House look Michelin 5 stars. Make sure to look out for rotting corpses that litter the floor here. And bring holy water. It only gets worse. There was also a lot of confusion and disorganization in other ways. Various patrons approached our group asking for extra chairs, just as we had to do. No one was directing this event!!!! Multiple people approached us asking where to get the fruit and yogurt parfaits we had on our plates. It was off in a corner no one could see. A bunch of people in the omelet line didn't have plates and wanted to know where we got ours. Those were only on one buffet table. Silverware was on the next buffet table. Nothing really made much sense and no one did anything to make it clearer. Most unclear was where to get drinks. There weren't any for those of us who don't drink alcohol. I left without having a single drop of liquid. The omelet guys were the only ones actually working this event and they were so, so nice, but even their station looked pretty basic and not very nice for $25 a person. I swear it's like sweatshop labor for them and not fair! They were so gracious and really deserved better! Everyone else was very rude and shouldn't be in customer facing roles. I watched as an employee in a camouflage, greenish shirt and shorts walked in and out of our event with an irritated look on his face, mostly just stood around, but never actually did anything, but occasionally take stuff off the buffet. I had to ask for pico and he acted like I had stolen his tiny little puppy. Pico was finally replenished around 3 pm, long after most people had already left. My mother who doesn't drink alcohol wanted a glass of water and found one on her own, (an actual glass) only to be reprimanded for not getting a plastic one by one of your rude employees So, enjoy your 1 star review for that alone. It's Mother's Day, like did you really have to do that to her????? I was absolutely mortified for a family who walked in to their 2:30 pm reservation and there were no tables. They literally sat at an abandoned dirty table overflowing with empty plates and dirty glasses. Just sat there. And it seemed like forever. I wanted to cry as I watched the matriarch in a striking green dress just sitting there. Waiting. I watched as no one approached them. They were so humble about it and waited. Never asked anyone to clean it. Finally, a worker just happened to walk and said she'd clean it up. And it was a dishwasher type girl, not the event planner. Nice look for our mothers. How about you don't have this event because you can't handle it? Your regular menu would have suited everyone a lot better. It's disturbing just how bad this went. And $25 each? It's not even worth $5!

Happy hour is on!

I absolutely love this place!! It's beautiful, very clean, has super friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the food is delicious and to top it off, the drinks are ridiculously delicious!! I have been so many times and always forget to review them. I love they have mixed cocktails on tap! They are consistently great! The happy hour prices cannot be beat! I went for a few functions in the back room and the staff are able to handle the large groups and accommodate everyone ordering at the same time. It is a little bit loud in there so maybe some noise dampening panels would be helpful. The bands they have outside have always been fun to listen to! All in all I highly recommend Dripping Springs Distilling

We toured and tested thanks for the great shot with Carl.

Amazing team works here and their tours are worth the wait. Brunch on Sunday makes up for no bottle sales. Drinks are why you come here. Kids are welcome on the patio. Plan ahead and arrive early.

Great atmosphere and great food. Customer service was awesome! We will be back! The food also came out quickly and the presentation was great.
