While the LIBBE can be helpful as a short term solution for constipation, my experience with Nanja and the closed system was far more comprehensive and therapeutic. Although Nanja is present throughout the session, the experience is still private, respectful, and comfortable. You are fully covered at all times and safely monitored throughout the treatment. Her presence allows her to observe what is happening in real time and respond to the body's needs, which is not something that is done with the LIBBE systems offered in Bakersfield where clients are left alone during the session. Nanja uses gentle abdominal massage to help aid the removal of accumulated waste and with permission also incorporates pressure points and guided breathwork. This hands on approach made a noticeable difference not only in comfort but in results. There wasn't much redness, swelling, frosting, or soreness like I expected, and it honestly doesn't even look different. During the session, it seemed like the laser only went over the tattoo once, so I'm feeling a little confused and concerned about whether the treatment was completed correctly or if this is normal for the first session. I recently had surgery here at MSC and was pretty close to backing down since I'm not a person who…read morevisits the hospital bed often. The last time I had surgery was when I was giving birth to my youngest who is now 20yrs old and that c-section kicked my butt. When I was brought to the back, I was greeted by several people to confirm my surgery to make sure I was the right patient and to verify what surgery was being done. This is protocol at hospitals and surgery centers to preventive errors. By the time I was brought to the surgery room I was having anxiety at this point. If it wasn't for the amazing staff at MSC I would have backed down. I was so shaken up, I asked the nurse in the surgery room if she was able to please hold my hand and without hesitation she was happy to hold my hand and then the other nurse came around the other side to hold my hand and after that I didn't remember anything. The anesthesiologist walked me thru and was talking me thru the process til I fell asleep and if it wasn't for the anesthesiologist and the 2 ladies, I probably would have backed down. I wish I remembered the ladies names to give them some praise and acknowledgement, but I was so nervous at the time I forgot. I have worked at medical facilities and I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and empathy. MSC is above standard and if you're going to have surgery here then you should know that you'll be taken care of. Staff is amazing. No one looks forward to surgeries/procedures, but MSC makes you feel at ease. I recommend this surgery center and I hope your visit is as successful as possible!
