But when we needed help it was plentiful, relaxed and unassuming. Chatted to Gordon for ages about mattresses! They were at no stage pushy... we decided on a bed but wanted to check out more mattresses, Gordon encouraged us to have a look around and just to call them when we wanted the bed delivered. Think we'll end up going back and getting a mattress from them. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a bed/mattress.

If I ain't lookin for ya, I don't need ya. 2) threats aren't the most successful methods of salesmanship around me. Telling me that there is only one bed, and if I didn't buy that day I wouldn't ge such a good deal really doesn't make me want to buy, especially when I was clear on the point that i was window shopping. I wasn't going to buy either way, so take your eye off the commission line and focus on the customer experience. If you try to force me into a decision, I walk out the door, and that is exactly what I did.

Rather a different approach to the other FOUR bed shops I'd been in previously, all of which had gone with the "I would never recommend a mattress as it is down to personal preference" school of thought. He pretty much told me that everything I thought about mattress was wrong, but didn't bother explaining why. He then pointed at a spring mattress and said "try that", then pretty much just walked away. Ummm... yea... even if I ended up liking that mattress (which I didn't), I would NEVER buy anything from him. Poor attitude and service from one guy makes me hesitant to return... EVER.
