Within 5 minutes, I had a detail response to my question from Samy herself. When I got to my appointment, I was so surprised by how beautifully and delicately the space was decorated. Both the staff and the area are lovely, warm, and inviting. I could live on the couch they have in the lobby but I digress lol. The area for facials is separated from the lash lounge and has its own intimate, relaxing ambiance. Samy even provides a little headband along with the robe, which is such a nice touch. The facial itself is worth every single penny. She covers your face, neck, chest/upper shoulders, provides light therapy, AND lymphatic massage. I'm willing to bet real money that customers fall asleep constantly! Samy did an amazing job of listening to my concerns and customizing my treatment to my needs. Afterward, I felt like a whole new woman and as she mentioned, I looked like a glazed donut! Hahah. I woke up the next day still glowing. It felt very unprofessional, so I thought maybe I should try a studio next. I am so glad I found Studio Velle!! April did my lashes, and though her previous appt ran a bit long (that girl is BOOKED!), I didn't have to wait too long. And honestly, the wait is worth it. I appreciated that they accept "foreign" fills and didn't charge me for a full set (like other salons do). I told April what I wanted, slight cat eye and somewhere between hybrid and volume and wow she blew me away. I accidentally fell asleep but it was great because when I woke up, she was basically done! I could feel how thorough she was to ensure I had layers of lashes. It's been 5/6 days so far and literally only 1 lash has fallen out; this is unheard of from my other lash techs. I truly think I could trust anyone at this salon, they care so much, it's palpable! Music is always good here. Location is super convenient - just a block up from IKEA. Ample parking. Prices are higher than what you may find for some other artists, but for quality, retention, service - I am happy to pay $150+ for a hybrid set and refills. I've gotten lashes done for cheaper but the artist ends up using too much glue, scheduling is a headache, lash quality a bit plasticky and heavy. Found my lash spot and confident to recommend them.
