We use borby no. 5, borby ultimate, and light eyes red cap. All eyelash extension glues are formulated with formaldehyde.

The online system was much more convenient, but my number was restricted after several reschedules, even though the stated policy allows changes at least three days in advance and does not clearly specify a maximum number of reschedules. Johnny was kind and tried to help, but my replacement appointment was booked incorrectly as an acrylic service with any available technician instead of my usual 90-minute gel builder fill with design with Kelsey. When I tried to correct and reschedule the appointment, my account was restricted again. My experiences with Cathy, the owner, have been much less positive. On more than one occasion, calls ended quickly with "Can you text us?" or "Our staff will reach out to you." After visiting every few weeks for three years, I also cannot recall much personal acknowledgment or friendliness from her in person. At this point, I would not be surprised if my account remains restricted after this review, but I believe prospective customers should know what my experience has been. Cathy and John also operate several other salons, including Nu Nails, CC Cosmetics, Naily SJ, and Nail Haus Co. in Milpitas. I also agree with other reviewers who have mentioned delays in honoring scheduled appointment times. In my experience, the salon often prioritizes the client currently in the chair rather than keeping the next scheduled appointment on time. I genuinely value Kelsey's work, but great nail service does not make up for inconsistent booking, communication, and management. If reliable scheduling, customer service, and professional management are important to you, I would recommend considering other salons for a more consistent experience.

Her studio is set up in the My Salon suites which offers multiple beauty services via different licensed specialists in separate rooms. When you arrive to the building, you can either text her and ping her on the call box and she will buzz you in. Upon arrival, you're met with an incredibly thoughtful interior design that just makes the suite aesthetically pleasing. It sets the tone for a relaxing spa environment -- she even has the lights and music to set the tone. Once you change and get situated on to the treatment bed, she assesses your skin to provide the best recommendation for a facial treatment. What this means is that she customizes every facial to the uniqueness and needs of each of her clientele's skin type. I love this approach because facials should not be a 'one size fits all' deal. Based on her assessment of my skin's condition, she got right to work. Every step in the process of the facial was explained -- she told me what she was doing and why she was doing it. Education is key so she kept me informed the entire time. It helps me understand what I need to do for at-home care also. From the cleansing, to the extractions, to the serums and creams, the mask, and even down to the neck and shoulder massage -- everything exceeded my expectations. Not only was she very thorough in her craft, but she was also very gentle which created a true spa like experience. I left her studio with clean and dewy skin. Excellent work all around! Phuong is very passionate about skincare, beauty, and helping others feel optimal about themselves -- and that's very clear in the delivery into her practice. Dalena (so weird to say my own name) was amazing! I came 20 minutes late due to work & I was her latest client 6pm. I felt so bad, but she told me it was okay. She asked for what I wanted & she delivered just that! After she was done, she STILL made sure I liked it and added/fixed a couple more to one of my eyes because she was not satisfied, even tho I was. I freaking came in late & she still took her damn time & made sure my eyes looked bomb. It's been two weeks since my lash extensions were placed and it still looks good! I hate going to get my hair, nails, etc. done because I have to make conversation, but Dalena made it so easy. She would talk to you if you talked to her. She would bring up very easy conversion topics. If you were quiet, she would let it be. I almost fell asleep! So in love with my ombré nails! I been going to Cindy for YEARS. She recently just moved over here. This area is much better than the other places she used to work from. This area feels safe and right next to a grocery store. Cindy is professional and been doing this for years. She's very kind and always tries her best to replicate a picture I show her. I been coming here for a couple years now for my nails. Jolie and Lynn are always on time and they never rush me out. I recently tried lash extensions with Hang and i never knew lash extensions could be so comfortable! It's a long process but worth it to save time getting ready in the morning.
