I had an amazing experience getting a full set of acrylic nails for the first time at this location with Lisa! She was super friendly, professional, and took her time to make sure my nails were perfect. The shape and design turned out exactly how I wanted, and the salon had a great atmosphere. I wanted to try out a new nail salon so I went here. Prices are relatively reasonable where you can get their basic pedicure for $30 without gel. Seemed a bit rushed and not as thorough as some other places I've been to. She also cut me on left foot and it was bleeding so that's the minus one star. She apologized but still prefer not to be cut. The girl who did my pedicure also missed a lot of spots on the nails and I had to ask her to paint it. So took off another star for that... the one positive is that she didn't push hard to upsell on services like some other nail salons. Would I be back? With multiple nail salons around, I'll keep looking elsewhere until I find my place. read more

TK Nail Spa has been my go-to nail spa for the past few months and they have never disappointed me once. I go here monthly for a pedicure and usually a new set/fill for my nails. Lisa always does my nails and Cindy normally does my pedi. Cindy is so great and always very precise and careful. She gets the hang nails and never hurts. I always get white gel toes and she never messes up. Lisa is definitely a wizard when it comes to doing nails. I usually come into the salon with an inspirational pic and she always gets it perfect if not better. She's very accommodating and honest. If she isn't sure about the design, she will let you know it will be similar and not exact, but half of the time when she says that to me, she literally does it better than I imagine. 110% recommend! read more

I came to TK Nails Spa looking for a brand new salon as I just moved back to the South Bay. I think I found it! I really loved how clean and nice this place looked. I booked by texting one of their numbers I found via Yelp/TikTok and when I came in early for my appointment, they took me in immediately. Both Cindy and Emily were so sweet to me and gentle with my manicure/pedicure. I believe they did an amazing job with the design I wanted to copy from Pinterest. They both made sure I was comfortable and also took their time to give my nails great care. I only really do a gel mani/pedi on my natural nails and I think their price point is amazing for the services provided. I was quoted $90 for my full service and I couldn't be happier! Thank you Cindy and Emily! I also love how there is parking immediately behind the shops as parking in Alum Rock gives me anxiety. I would just be careful as the streets get a little crowded. read more

I'm so glad I found Lisa! I was so bummed when she left the other shop and when I found out she had her own I HAD to find her. Her designs are amazing and she has never let me down. Great prices, location and designs I brought my son in (he's barely going to be 2) towards then end he did start getting fussy as you can imagine, Lisa and the girls tried their best to play and make them happy while I finished my last 10 minutes. I've been going here since they first opened. Their technicians are highly skilled, experienced and friendly. I always have a good experience with dip powder nails, which lasts at least 2 weeks. I went to a different place before, and my nails broke within days... They also provide top notch customer service, giving us free water and free drinks. They also plan to have other services, such as: facial, waxing and more. They accept cash, zelle, both walk ins and appointments. I highly suggest you check them out. I went into TK Nail Spa with a positive mindset today because I've been going to the same girls for so long and they always do a great job. However!!, this time there was a different employee (Tina is what she told me her name was) who left me confused and upset. There seems to be false advertising based on what she told me. The price on the services menu didn't match what I was charged, and it really ruined my experience. Not only was it the prices that were not reflected the same as the menu, but the services that were supposed to be done for the package I chose weren't completed. She only did a couple of things off the list, which bothered me because I have had the same routine of choosing that package and getting all of it done during my visits. I feel like it was rushed towards the end because other customers came in, which I understand, but it's unfortunate that I had to deal with that. I was going to leave a tip of $10 as per usual, but I refrained from doing so this time around because even though I spoke up about the change, I was dismissed. I was basically told that those things were wrong. I'm not sure if she was trying to charge an automatic tip I hope they address this issue soon. It was my First time coming here and I loved it :) I called the same day to book an appointment later that day. I arrived for my appointment very nice place very clean and organized. I was greeted and sat down immediately didn't have to wait. I loved that. I showed a picture of what I wanted and with no hesitation said okay let's do it. Unlike other places doubt or change what you want. They were very friendly talked to you nicely . I loved the calm music they had on. I felt pampered & very satisfied. Went here for the first time two weeks ago, heard a lot of good things about Lisa and saw her being posted all Over social media so thought I'd give this place a try. My nails came out good and she's a good designer but more then half of them had popped off or broke within the first week. Today marks two weeks and I only have one nail left. I started getting my nails done at Color Nails years ago and met Cindy. I typically get shellac for my mani and pedi, and as time went on, I never went to anyone but her. She was consistently the person I would ask for. What stood out is she's very neat with her work, takes her time, I don't feel rushed, and she has the sweetest personality! I went here to get my nails done and was not disappointed. The ladies here are absolute sweethearts and Cindy even offered me a cold water after walking in. Lisa did my nails (funny thing is she actually did my first ever set at another nail salon, small world!) and she matched the inspo pic almost exactly. I broke my nail during vacation in California and spontaneously found this nail salon, they fixed my nails and gave me a whole new set. They ended up giving me and my mom new sets and I couldn't be happier. I showed Lisa a picture of the set I wanted and she designed it spot on. She listened to what we wanted and the designs are amazing! I've been to tons of nail spas in San Jose and this has been the best by far. But where did the price come from? The cost for the shape? Well certainly the shape doesn't look like the skinny coffin I wanted. From booking a last minute same day appointment to the entire experience. Nothing but positive things to say all around! The person who answered the phone was very helpful and accommodating! He warmed me that it does get busy after work and was able to book me the appointment no problems! Upon arriving, I was able to check in and seated at exactly my appointment time. That was the first green flag for me as I know other places like to overbook and I have to end up waiting for an appointment which was suppose to cut down wait times. Additionally, I really liked how the front desk and the staff that was doing my nails did not push me to get gel where I know other places will really be pushy and try to get more money out of you. Vy was the lady that did my pedicure and i was really impressed with how thorough she was. She definitely did not rush and took her time where I felt so relaxed and not worry whether the nails were going to look bad. At the end, she was able to check in with me to see if I liked it and if needed to fix anything. I paid with card but i didn't have cash for tip but the guy that helped me in the front/on the phone, who actually turned out to be the owner share the tip to ask the workers for their venmo to tip them! Absolutely best service so far in San Jose I've been to! I will be returning!
