I purchased this as a gift for Christmas last year. The time the person was supposed to go was cancelled for "expected rain" there was no rain, not even a drop! When I tried to rebook multiple times this year I was told to wait for the schedule. Amazing experience. The entire crew at Homestead-Miami was great. Everyone was professional at the cars were in top notch condition. Two recommendations: 1. Do this experience at a legit racetrack. It was so awesome driving in to the infield and being able to walk around the pits, as Cup cars are buzzing around the track at 150 mph. We we able to do a walk-up ride along for my wife, which was awesome. Also, it provides the room to setup a real autocross circuit which is a major plus to the overall experience. 2. Buy a few laps with one of their drivers. You learn a lot about the course and the capabilities of the car before you get behind the wheel. Best roller coaster ride ever when you are a passenger in a Ferrari 458 with a pro behind the wheel. I would strongly recommend this experience at Homestead. It was awesome. read more

One word...disappointed. Two stars simply because you get to sit in the car while it's running. I was incredibly underwhelmed by the "experience", and I felt bad for my wife, who purchased this for me as a birthday gift months prior. While I didn't expect to be able to drive my car choice at top speed, I would have hoped to get out of third gear. It's setup to prevent you from doing anything beyond that. The cones are positioned in a way so that you don't even need to touch the accelerator, the car will move forward under it's own power and you can just turn the steering wheel. The insurance is pointless since you don't really pick up any speed, and it's just a ploy to get an extra $49 out of you. I chose the McLaren, and it was incredibly dusty, and just not clean inside. After my drive, I took a seat the Ferrari F430 also, and it was so beat up and dirty. The R8 that was there was at least a little better...because it was newer. But, come on, if you're charging this much, have a clean car please. Overall, I wouldn't do this again if you paid me! read more

My wife bought me this 'experience'. I was supposed to drive one of 5 exotics around a track - 5 laps at the Orlando Speedworld. FALSE!!! Boy was I horribly surprised! When I got to the Orlando Speedworld for my 9:30 start time I couldn't find where it was.. It wasn't at the Orlando speedworld track but in what looks like a small parking lot with cones outside the track. (First red Flag! ) Anyways I saw 5 supercars... 2 Lambos, a ferrari an R8 and a McLaren. I was told I could choose what car I wanted to drive.. but when I chose the Huracan, the guy taking the pictures said I can't get that and said I get the Lambo..(meaning the gallardo..) That car was in atrocious shape. The door latch was broken, the interior was so dirty and smelled musty. (Second red flag ) Anyways I buckled up and instructor told me I had 5 laps so I drove out unto the course... he didn't know anything about the car as he didn't know how to put the car in reverse....He then proceeds to tell me to take it easy on my first lap so I can learn the 'track'..(it's a bunch of cones, what 'track") Anyways I did as I was told so my first lap was wasted..on my second lap he said I can get on it. I proceed to give it a little more gas.. he then tells me not to go so hard on the gas so I waste another lap. This was pretty much how the other two laps went.. yes TWO. They only gave me 4 laps, 2 wasted because of the instructor. Also he has a brake pedal on the passenger side that he uses to slow the car down when he feels like. The 'track' is so short it takes about 30s for me to complete a lap going about 15-20mph around the entire course.... So to sum everything up.. my wife paid a few hundred dollars intending for me to drive one of 5 exotics of my choice around a track 5 times to get an adrenaline rush AS advertised but all I got was 4 laps around some cones at 15MPH speeds in a car I never picked and was pretty much in rough shape. All in all, I paid to sit in an old dirty Lamborghini.... My advice to you is to save your money and DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY ON THIS!!!! I guarantee you will regret it! I could spend the same amount of money and rent a lambo on Turo and have way more fun for an entire day instead of 30s a lap here with these rip-offs! If I could give this company 0 zero stars I would.. but I cant.can't.. wait.. atleast the lady at sign in was pleasant..that was pretty much the only thing positive about that place. *Ends rant* read more

Don't waste your money. I booked an experience for Sunday, June 2nd at Kil Kare Raceway in Xenia, OH. I was pretty disappointed in the overall experience. I have booked driving experiences numerous times before and this was the first that I was disappointed in. 1. This is a cone course in a parking lot, not a road course, etc. 2. The SD card with the recorded video given to me was empty. I am pretty sure that the instructor with me forgot to put a card in the camera because when he went to take the card out of the camera he acted weird and started fumbling things around. 3. I was told to slow down because the tires weren't allowed to squeal. 4. My booked time slot was the first thing in the morning; however when I arrived they weren't even ready. Ultimately they started about 90 mins after the first time slots. 5. The cars were older, didn't shift well, and were ugly for exotic cars. Overall it was very disappointing for the money that was paid. I will only book this type of thing with Xtreme Xperience from now on, they let you drive on a real track and go as fast as your skill will allow. read more

Would not recommend wasting your money on this. Very disappointing service. I purchased for my dad for Father's Day in June. The drive was rescheduled twice due to weather, which is understandable. Each time it was rescheduled I specifically asked the woman on the phone that I wanted to make sure I was re-booking for a day that he could drive the Lamborghini. The woman assured me BOTH TIMES that it would be available. This was the only reason why I had purchased the tickets in the first place; this was the specific car that we wanted. When we arrived, the line was so long it took 45 minutes just to check in. When we got up to the front of the line, they stated there was no Lamborghini available. So disappointing. No one notified us or told me before hand so that I could reschedule and get the car we wanted. The woman at the check in didn't care and said, "it wasn't her fault and there was nothing she could do" we booked another car so I didn't lose my money, and then We then waited another half hour before he could drive. At that point it was about an hour and a half after his scheduled time. Extremely unorganized, you are not guaranteed the car you choose even though you are paying al of this money, and you are not guaranteed to drive at your appointment time. Not to mention you will deal with the rude employees who run this event. Do not recommend. read more

We purchased the Dream Drive experience this past weekend at the Milwaukee Mile. While the staff was excellent and very nice, the experience was NOT what we expected. Maybe I should have done more research. Yes you get to drive an exotic car which was cool, but the track (I wouldnt even call it a track) was some cones in a parking lot. Thats it. At no time could you really "Experience" the car the way it should be. The "track" was tiny, with curves that limit any amount of power or fun the car has to offer. This was for my son's bday, and while he enjoyed it we all agreed that it was NOT was we expected and that the experience could have been soooooo much better. I originally saw this through a deal on Groupon but found an even better deal directly through the Dream Drive website. I got this as an anniversary gift for my husband and I. We went to the New Lebanon, NY site on 10/22/21. Yes, this experience happens in a parking lot and not on the main racetrack. No, you don't get to drive the car as fast as you can go. If that's what you're after, go book an experience on a drag strip and not an autocross course. The course is set up to have to drive on it, not just press the accelerator all the way down. The curves are the best part of the whole thing! Yes, they are set up with cones so that you don't damage the expensive cars and to minimize risk of hurting yourself or others. That's kind of the point, but of course you still have to buy the insurance in the event that something happens. There's a lot of people around, four expensive cars, and other vehicles/concrete barriers/lamp posts, etc. Trust me, its better to have to buy the insurance. That said. I got to drive an Audi R8 that can turn on a dime and give you 9.5 cents change around a bunch of cones where I was pulled left and right all the way around. What a rush! Other reviewers were upset that they couldn't go over 50 - I'll be honest and say that I've not a clue how fast I was going at any point during the whole thing, I was just going as fast as I dared and using the breaks as little as possible. It required ALL of my concentration to get the max thrill factor. Who cares if I was going 20, 50, 100 or more? I didn't pay the money so I could brag to my friends that I hit top speed. Highly recommend the 5-lap experience, it takes a few laps just to get the hang of the turns. I also added on the 2-lap ride along, which they marketed as more of a "get some pointers from an expert" but really was just a joy ride with someone who had a lot more experience with that sort of thing than I. Highly suggest that, too, it was a ton of fun! By the way, I don't know how fast he was driving, either - who asks how fast a roller coaster whips you around a tight corner? Anyway. Bought this for my 30 yo son. He loves exotic cars but has never driven one. We booked for a Sunday. It was a little hard to find because of all the construction going on at Concord Mills so I called a number on the website and tried to chat with no success. We just ended up driving around and finally found it. Checked in and the original car that he wanted, the Mclauren was not there. Even though we had a reservation, we ended up waiting 90 minutes before he drove. While waiting, it was fun to watch the other drivers. He need up driving the Ferrari. He said that the instructor was funny and cool. He had a blast! We ended up adding the picture with the plaque because it was different and a great souvenir. He didn't have a lot of expectations and this was an awesome adventure for him! read more

I got a 3 lap gift of either a oval or road corse track for a Father's Day gift. On the website I was to choose between 4 nice cars. I was all excited and even paid for 2 extra laps when I got to the track. 1) only 3 cars there. 2) all older cars. (8+) 3) Ferrari wouldn't start. 4) McLaren started on fire. 5) Lamborghini was old. 6) No professional drivers, just guys who think they can drive. 7) no maintenance mechanics to service them. 8) no classes on how to handle the horsepower. 9) The cars were way older than shown on their website. 10) could only drive the "road" track. 11) Called the next day to the headquarters to receive a refund as communicated at the venue, and was treated very rudely. They didn't allow you to drive the oval, only the inside track. I can do that in my car on any street in any city. My wife booked me a 3 lap drive in a McClaren. When we arrived at the Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, Virginia, it was suggested (upselling at its worst) by the staff there that I pay an additional $39.95 to have an instructor accompany me with 2 more laps. What I got was two laps total -one with the instructor driving and one with me at the wheel. They will try to upsell you at every opportunity and not deliver the service that they say you're going to receive. The actual car was the only good thing about this adventure. read more

Bad experience! Drove their McLaren (which was pretty old btw). The car was detuned. My Corvette is faster than that car. The car was worn out, had scratches, wheel rashes, burned out tires and was de-tuned. It was a horrid experience to drive here in Indianapolis, IN. This was a fantastic experience! I got to drive my dream car, a Lamborghini. The staff were so nice and encouraging throughout the whole experience. I see such bad reviews and it seems like everyone thinks they are actually going to be able to go at top speed. No. Its a controlled course setting as it should be. Even the guy before me ended up hitting the curb and scraping up the tire rim at 10mph when he was coming in to park! But yet, my instructor kept telling me on every lap, "floor it, and don't let up until I tell you"! You truly get to feel the power that these cars have without having to go 150mph. Dream Drive Exotics purposely misleads you into thinking that you are going to be driving on a racetrack. You WILL NOT. You will be driving in a parking lot on the inside of a track between cones. The straightaway is so short that you will maybe reach 20mph. One lap will take about 20 seconds, so our entire experience (with our 'upgrade' of an additional lap due to the car we signed up for not being there) of 4 laps took 1.5 minutes. Waste of time and money. Felt like a bait and switch situation. read more

Bought this through Groupon for my son's 30th birthday in August. They had a date scheduled the day before his birthday, which was perfect. I got a return e-mail from them confirming the reservation and stating I would be contacted in 3-5 days with our assigned time. That's the last time I heard from them. When I called their number, I got a recording. They never returned my calls. Then I contacted Groupon to intervene. They never got a response either! The only thing Groupon could do is refund our payment in Groupon Bucks, but we only have 24 hours to choose another deal or we lose it entirely. Definitely a lose/lose situation for us. read more

My wife had bought me a groupon for the 5 lap driving experience, this was not clear. We thought I'd be driving my choice car on a race track; it was at a local racetrack. We were appalled that something this expensive was driving around mini cones in the parking lot of the race track. If this was clear from the beginning we would not have done the experience. What's the point of driving an exotic car if you don't get to test the boundaries these types of cars can do. Also the required no liability insurance required for purchase is a joke...no way in heck someone can wreck a car in a parking lot driving at less than 50 mph, again thought I was going to be doing 5 laps on a racetrack. Yea it's cool to say I drove a Lambo, but the next question is how fast did you go?!? I sadly and disappointingly get to say 50 mph. This is such a disappointment. It's in a parking lot set up with cones. You barely open it up at all. You might be able to get into 2nd gear if you are lucky. This cone track is so small and they don't even have the cars they said on the website. This is the biggest waste of money ever I mean if your gonna have us in super cars let us drive on a track for super cars and let us experience what it's made if we are gonna be lying this insane amount of money. I drive my gti harder than this and have so much more fun for free. You would spend your money better at accelerate go kart in Mokena and hve more fun for sooooo much less. First off I got this package for my husband, thinking "Oh wow, this is going to be so cool!" Well--it wasn't. He did have fun but I was EXTREMELY disappointed. Second--we get there and there is only 1 car running out of 3. they were at least 10+ years old. There was a 4 hour wait before we arrived, with 2 cars not running. We were lucky enough that some people rescheduled or left, so we didn't have to wait more than 30 min. Third--and here's what they DON'T tell you: They will claim it isn't false advertising, since the wording is such that these cars CAN go up to 180 or 200 mph. (not that they will or that they will let you.) * It is not a regular oval race track that you go around, (even though it is at the track) It is a small figure 8 you can do laps on that they have set up with cones. * The cars accelerator/throttle is capped/set, and most likely won't go over 60mph. Doing the figure 8 you can't go any faster anyway, but you can go from 0-60 in a few seconds either, there is a delay--even when the accelerator is floored. So what fun is it if you can't even get to 60 or 80 mph?? I think this is very misleading, and a bad tactic to get you to spend money on something that is false. Who wants to spend hundreds of dollars to drive a car that is supposed to be awesome and go fast--when you CAN'T. Extremely disappointed!!! Dream Drive Exotics has terrible communication and customer service. I bought my husband the 3 laps plus 2 instructor laps back in October 2016 for our anniversary. The only date left to drive was Dec. 31st at 8am, so I booked it. Needless to say, my husband showed up today to drive the Lamborghini on the "track" (aka parking lot at Laurel Race Track in Md), along with 10 other people waiting to drive, and Dream Drive Exotics NEVER SHOWED UP. His drive was scheduled for 8am and at 8:49am, I get the following text: DREAM DRIVE EXOTICS CUSTOMERS - THERE IS NO DRIVING EXPERIENCE ON DEC 31ST. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP. THIS IS A HOLDING DATE FOR CUSTOMERS THAT NEED TO RESCHEDULE. Yea, thanks Dream Drive Exotics, maybe this text should have been sent a week or even a day in advance?! You can be assured that we will be contacting you and/or Groupon for a full refund. Seeing as booking now, we wouldn't have a spot until July 2017 (booking is 6-7 mos out due to the demand, I guess), and we have a baby due end of June 2017. Purchased a Groupon for $59.00 for my son to do a ride-long. No where in the fine print did it point to me that this is only for drivers. The fine print specifically states this "All sales final after voucher is viewed. Must sign waiver. Subject to weather. Dates may be added or changed. Must be 18+ with valid driver's license to drive; 10+ for ride-along 17+ in NJ. The customer provides specified insurance coverage or purchase for $39." When I went to book the ride along for my son, who is 13, Dream Drive would not honor the Groupon because this was for a driving experience only and they only include the 10+ for ride along verbiage on the Groupon because they are required to include their terms and conditions on all Groupons. I was informed that if I would like to purchase a ride along on Dream Drives website, I can, but it will cost me $99, plus taxes and other fees that may be associated with that. A 3 lap driving experience is half that price on their website. I have contacted Groupon and they are going to see about going ahead and refunding the money to me. read more

Very underwhelming experience... basically there's cones set up in a parking lot like at a driving school the whole experience last for about 43 seconds (if you book 3 laps)...the cones are set up so you cant go that fast, and it's really short. Don't waste your time or money. It was very cheesy and lame. You're better off going on Touro renting a car for the day and drive that on the street. It's really silly. If there's positive reviews here, it's probably posted by the owner of this company, or a friend of the owners. It's literally a waste of time. Do not do it. read more

We showed up and waited 45 minutes only to be told that the gas pedal was broken and he had to be over a certain height to drive the car that day. It was the only car he was interested in driving. Bought my husband the 3 Lap package listed on the website for Father's Day at the closest "track" available for $199. If you're looking to drive sooner, rather than later you will be disappointed because most of the dates up to 5 months out were booked and unavailable. I was able to book my husbands experience 5 months out. However, 2 months after I booked, I was sent an email that the date I chose the company would not be at the particular track. I was able to reschedule to 4 months out instead. The "track" is exactly what it states on the website so keep that in mind when booking. The Autocross track is set up in a parking lot with cones and the driver can choose from the cars listed on their website (Nissan GTR, Ferrari and Lamborghini) All cars are automatic. I chose this company specifically because they had a Nissan GTR, and was pretty disappointed when we arrived and there wasn't a GTR and a Corvette was there instead. No one bothered to inform us of this. If we had known the GTR wasn't available on that day we would have rescheduled or cancelled. However, since we did drive 45 minutes to the track my husband drove the Corvette and was comp'ed 2 free laps. The biggest issue I had with this company is that the cars available cannot possibly get up to the speed that customers truly want to drive them at, being that the track is set up in a parking lot. My husband was barely able to get out of 2nd gear. So between not having the car he wanted to drive and not being able to really see what the car he did drive can do, he left disappointed. He ended up buying the #2 package which was $100 and came with a Go-pro video, 2 pictures and a T-Shirt. For the price of all of this, we just did not find it worth it. I am going to start by saying that the staff were really nice so this rating and review has nothing to do with them but everything to do with the false advertising and experience. My fiancé paid a lot of money for the both of us to enjoy an exotic car experience around an auto cross track today July 29, 2018, something that I have told her has been a dream for years. We arrive to the track and get excited as we see race cars going around the track at really high speeds... come to find out that where we have to go is to a back parking lot. A very small parking lot. We walk and see a lambo and a McLaren (Dirty and very poorly maintained) and a small little course made out of cones. I thought to myself, "well I'm sure that before we go race these very high end cars, they want us to practice going around a few baby cones to get use to it..." no, the cones were actually the track!!! We drove 4 hours from Orlando to drive 3 laps around cones so small and close together that I don't think I was able to go over 50mph! The track was too small for go karts to be fun let alone real cars. It took maybe 45 seconds to do one lap which means we drove a total of 8 hours, spent hundreds for the experience another hundred in gas and basically just sat in a dirty exotic for a minute and 35 seconds. I felt so bad for my fiancé that wanted to make this birthday surprise special for me and instead we literally wasted an entire day. I don't recommend at all if this is how the experience normally is like, you will have a lot more fun renting a Mini Cooper from Enterprise and driving it in and out of your garage! I literally asked the guy after the 3 slow laps "so do we go on a track now that I'm comfortable in the car?" His response: "No that's it, this was the track but if you want one more lap it's an extra $25.." read more

This is a complete rip-off. I booked the three lap package on a Groupon for 99.00. Upon going to their web site (seeing the booking website was only possible after the purchase) I found that booking was only offered for 2 days, one of them 6 months away, and the other almost a year. In the process of trying to book a day I learned that insurance is only available through them. They attempt to make it sound like they will accept your own insurance with 250,000 liability, but when you actually read the numerous terms and conditions (later, after already providing your credit card number) you find out that the requirements of this proof of insurance can not possibly be met (I am an insurance underwriter) and you must buy their policy for 40 to 50.00. Additionally, there is a booking fee of 4.50. And then there is an additional 6.00 fee for being allowed the great privilege of selecting which activity you will participate in. Keep in mind you had already selected this activity when you paid for the Groupon. And as others have said, this is not a track, this is a parking lot with cones. Again, all this information is provided in the terms and conditions, after the purchase. So, if you have no hopes of actually driving a car faster than a residential neighborhood, no hope of paying only the initial charge, and have an extra 65 dollars above the cost of the Groupon, this should be just what you are looking for. read more
