We loved that he was involved in moving the schedule of the day long, making announcements and getting people excited on the dance floor but that he also wasn't super in everyones faces. It was perfect. And DJ Craig absolutely rocked it. We chose him based on the video on the website and he fully exceeded all expectations. The transitions were seamless, he played awesome music, and really felt like he knew what we were looking for. Everyone cannot stop talking about it & had so much fun on the dance floor. Would recommend them every time. Thank you Craig & Tommy!

Scott was the perfect MC for my daughter's wedding at Lands End - professional, attentive and Totally engaged in ensuring that we had a great time. He kept the evening on track, made speakers comfortable and went out of his way to make sure that we hosts were able to enjoy the evening. The DJ, Michael, kept the music going all night - and kept the party bumping so that all the guests eventually made their way to the dance floor from ages 3 to 92! It was a pleasure to work with Long Island Sound and I will be singing their praises - echoing the sentiments expressed by so many of our guests after the wedding.

Variety was awesome to have as part of our wedding day! They came recommended from our venue so it…read morewas a no-brainer to go with them as we felt they would be most familiar with the flow of the day - which was 100% the case. Variety had a beautiful all-white DJ set up and we were also able to hired our live musicians through them, which was so helpful. (Saxophone during cocktail hour was PERFECTION). MC Ray and DJ Tom made the day completely effortless for myself and my husband. They played everything we wanted (BIG SHOUTOUT to playing Italian music throughout our Italian dinner - our favorite part of the night), seamlessly blended genres, and had people of all ages on the dance floor all night. Guests texted us the next day saying how they "haven't danced that much in years", "every song was a banger", and "the music was SO good". Thank you, Variety for an unforgettable night!

I was referred to Drive Up DJs…read moreand Ivan by someone else that had used them and then I researched them by looking at all the social media they use, and then I decided DUDJs was really the only choice. They are that good, and their price was totally reasonable. From the beginning, I knew we were in great hands. They provided us with DJ / MC / Sound / Lights / Video in one simple package, they even created a beautiful 250 pic video photo montage for us that was beautiful. They communicated with our other vendors through out the night and followed the planned script perfectly and played all music as previously selected as well as all the typical dance standards. It was LIT as my daughter said when it was over (which we didnt want to end). Ivan and his team are total pros, very personable and very easy to deal with and that took a lot of weight ofs our shoulders as we trusted him to run with the program and he did not disappoint us. Thank you again!

The questionnaire used for planning was all online as well as their catalog of services provided. Ivan was super accommodating and played all the songs we requested. He was on point with the wedding day itinerary and helpful with suggestions. We had some guests who also DJ and they came up to me raving about how his song mixes/wordplay was spot on. The photo booth was a hit - highly recommend and you receive a link to all photos/gifs taken. We also added on the saxophonist and 8 ft robot. Rob was also fantastic and I'm so glad DUDJ's provided him as the MC. High energy, big smiles, and these two were able to read to crowd and perform accordingly. Their DJ light setup was soooo much better than other DJ's I vetted (not to mention the others were upselling this and Drive Up provides this as a standard). I would have zero hesitation booking this team again and will be recommending them to all friends/family for future events.

Something absolute can't be compared to others. It's the gold standard and should be treated as…read moresuch. I'd go almost so far as to say that about Absolute Entertainment. The DJ portion of their entertaining came pretty close to absolute level for my wife and I on our recent wedding day. Things started way before the wedding with the fact that Absolute was a preferred vendor to our venue and so we gave them a shot to start the DJ searching process. Well after meeting with Matty, we were sold. I don't know if it was his energy, friendliness, truthfulness, or the fact that he reminded us of Ryan Reynolds, but something clicked and we signed on the dotted line that day. This contract included their new mirror photo booth along with a custom rustic DJ booth that was specific for our venue (how cool is that!?). Now I mention the photo booth because that'll come back into play in a bit, but first let's jump into the lead up before the wedding and the big day itself. Absolute did a great job in contacting us prior to the wedding and making sure they had all of our information correct as well as the music choices we wanted. We also got a call from Matty (who happened to be our MC for the wedding) and he ran through all of our info again. They definitely did a thorough job of preparing. On the day of the wedding, the entire ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was awesome with Matty and Cliff (the DJ). The music choices that we wanted were played throughout the wedding and all of our must-plays were heard. Yeah maybe here and there we had a song pop up we didn't love, but nobody's perfect. Well, Matty's ability to get people on the dance floor and pump everyone up was pretty close to perfect. He was definitely a highlight of our vendors and something we'll positively remember. Now I haven't mentioned the photo booth because we ended up removing it from our contract. The pictures of their mirror photo booth on Absolute's website didn't match up with the one they were showing on social media posts. Both were nice, but it didn't really fit into our theme/style. A small annoyance in the grand scheme of things, though it also took a little time to hear back from them via email in order to get the photo booth removed. Another minor snafu, but in the entirety of everything, I'd still stick with Absolute and the five stars I threw on this review. Overall, Absolute Entertainment is legit in their ability to bring the party and make your day feel special. Their DJs listen to your music preferences and the MCs are fantastic at making your event that much more enjoyable and fun. Perhaps some side pieces aren't perfect, but in the realm of performance and music, Absolute is pretty darn absolute.

In covering all the aspects of the party I thought about the possibility of weather issues. So I decided a tent would be the solution. I called around for a couple of quotes but after speaking to Justin from Magnif-A-Tent I knew I was heading in the right direction. When the guest list was completed we had 125 guests coming. Not being exactly sure of what size tent we would need, Justin came to my house to measure out the yard to find the best location and to see how big a tent we would need. He laid out a plan for a 30 x 60 tent with an adjoining 20 x 20 tent for a dance floor, and for good measure a 10 x 10 tent for the DJ. Justin and his crew showed up Friday morning and spent 7 hrs setting up these tents along with tables, linens and chairs. Saturday morning it was raining and Justin and another fellow showed up early in the morning to double check that everything was perfect and we would have no problems. The party began and the weather cooperated as best it could. Party was fabulous and went off without a hitch because of Magnif-A-Tent. Do I recommend them. Well if you have to ask then you haven't read this review. If I every need a tent there's only one number I'll call.
