Incredible restaurant. We've been hearing great things about Cazbar for years and finally decided…read moreto go. Was a great decision!! Really interesting menu. We learned quite a bit about Turkish dining, as typically uninformed Americans. The food was great, with nice big portions. The waitstaff is wonderful. Answered all of our questions (we had many). Patient. Observant. Couldn't have been better. We went on a weeknight and it was surprisingly empty. Our waiter said it's usually much busier. And especially so on weekends, mostly due to the belly dancers (Fridays and Saturdays I believe). We'll definitely be returning. Really great restaurant.

It is worth walking around the restaurant to view all the pretty decorations. The menus are media pads that don't get wiped off (gross). I don't understand how a restaurant that has technology (and a robot busser) can't sort out separate checks. Groups of six or more are charged a 20% service charge. Large groups are charged a $25 fee for using a credit card. My suggestion is stop handing out the pretty bags for leftovers and get rid of the credit card fee. We have a group of eight that meets once a month. We won't be back as a group. It might be fun to return sometime with less people and watch belly dancing. The menu is extensive (a bit confusing on the media pad) and has vegan and vegetarian options. The portions are decent. The items are flavorful and most are pricey. Guests who split a dish with someone are charged $15 for not ordering an entree. The watermelon margarita was pretty. I appreciated pitchers of water at the table. The cold hummus trio was tiny and tasty. The red lentil soup was nicely seasoned and barely warm. The sweet potatoes were nicely presented, flavorful and not filling. The red sauce wasn't too spicy but ketchup tasted better. The lamb moussak eggplant dish was large. The Doneri Iskender lamb dish was $10 more with bread and sauce. The vegetable kebab had zucchini & squash. My friend didn't want the rice & bread so she substituted a salad. $40 for a skewer & small salad seemed excessive. The salad with chicken was large. Everyone enjoyed the lamb. The desserts were large enough to share. The noodle breaded dessert was interesting. I enjoyed seeing the dishes. The Chocolate cake was yummy. The baklava was sweet and good. They only had the green flavor. The server was mostly locked into our needs. The manager gave everyone a pretty to go bag. You can see the menu on your phone & can avoid the over used media pad.

I really want to like this place and I may end up upgrading this review - see below. I drove there…read morefrom Hunt Valley this morning as my usual butcher isn't open on Sunday. Plus Wegmans doesn't have an actual butcher. I was hunting for a top sirloin roast to prepare in the sous vide. This is a nice gourmet store on the grounds of a local farm that sells beef direct to the public. Their beef is apparently pasture raised and they seem committed to natural methods, no antibiotics, etc. I didn't see any mention of certification of organic practices though. The prices in general seem pretty high but maybe I'm a bit of an old fart in regard to prices. The goods were gourmet shop level. A small jar of gravy for example was $12 and a single brownie was $10.00 I was greeted by a nice kid who was helpful but didn't know the difference between a tip sirloin and a top sirloin. Not surprising. He quickly brought over the owner. She seemed pleasant but a bit rushed and wanting to sell me. I asked if they could cut a Top Sirloin Roast for me. They produce their own beef, butcher it, and sell it in their shop. I asked if the roast could include the cap (picanha) piece. That is a standard way of selling a top roast. The owner said they couldn't sell it that way but she could sell me the coulotte steak. This is the same cut as the Picanha or cap just by a different name. I find this odd. If you sell the sirloin steaks and the cap why not just not cut them and sell the whole thing. Or sell me the steaks uncut without the cap. I'd be happy to order it and come back a few days later. The owner was happy to tell me a story about how much I would like the coulotte and how it was a steal at the price. The problem with a cap steak bought separately from the top roast is that 35% of the cap steak is fat. That pushes the average per pound price of the meat up by 50%. Not a great value but I understand why they'd rather sell it that way. The fat cap is helpful in the cooking process (when roasted) but is usually factored into the total price of the roast. I'm the customer, they are a self producing butcher shop. The reason for me to make the effort to drive to them would be flexibility based on their inherent assets and skill set. Certainly they don't have a price advantage seemingly to me. So I bought the 2-3 pound coulotte steak. If the meat has a superior taste, I'll upgrade this review. But if the price is average, the meat is average, and the flexibility of the product are just average then I'll leave an average score. More importantly, I really want to like this place and I really do want to see their model work. I buy $300+ dollars of beef per month and also other meats. I want to find the butcher that will work with me when I have a creative urge. I'm happy to drive past other sellers (Wegmans, John Brown, Amish market) in hunt Valley and spend at least 2 hours of my time but they need to give me reason. Scott Rifkin, MD

Then the rest of their flavors you can ask for and taste. I have to say my roommate and I spent about 45 min in there narrowing it down. There were two people working, a man and teenage girl, both were kind and knowledgeable. Gave me some recommendations. I could have been in there all day doing a tasting. I ended up getting the Galegea and the peach balsamic. They tasted good together. Figured they would be good to mix for a salad. They do ship. So if you find something you like and want to repurchase or try something new then you can order it. They even said if you wanted to email and get ideas for recipes that you can do that. I don't know about you but I always run out of ideas. I love a responsive business. It was clean friendly and warm inside the store. I would happily visit again to have the same experience. Another note they swap out from different regions through out the year so there are a couple of seasonal flavors. Right now it's the Strawberry Kiwi.

The woman working (maybe the owner) was so friendly and helpful, which really made for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend Lebherz and will be returning anytime I am in Frederick.
