Definitely will come back! I advise not to wear heels or just get dropped off at the front because the parking lot and road leading to the entrance is gravel.

I have been to these kinds of events before but this one, by far was the largest event in one location. I arrive at 8a, 2hrs before the store opened. The line was probably 350 people deep when I arrived. It was 30 degrees out and I decided to brave the cold for an opportunity to snag some of the most elusive Whiskeys amd Bourbons in the area. So many people came out. I heard some came from as far as NY, WV, and NC to attend this event. By 1130a, i finally made it to the front door. All of my favorites were gone. I wondered round in the store aimlessly hoping to score something big. Nothing was insight. One of the folks I had just met in line shivering in the cold for 3.5h bumped into me again in the store and offered me what appeared to be last bottle of Kentucky Owl. I was vaguely familiar with this brand. He was not sure of the cost but but he was sure it was more than he wanted to spend so I was happy to recieve this bottle. But I still felt emptied handed so I back tracked down every aisle hoping to find one more rarity. A buddy mentioned to me to about the instore raffle for George C Stagg. I was somewhat resistant to registering online for it because I was sure 300 or more had already registered and I had no possible chance of scoring 1 of the 71 bottles available. I reluctantly registered and as luck would have it, score....!!! I began to think this trip may not be a bust after all. This is a great event and it is increasingly becoming popular. There were definitely some pros and cons. Pros: port-o-potties onsite Pros: selling shirts to memoralize event Pros: onsite bottle engraving Pros: online lottery registration Cons: people coming from out of state or a good distance away are camping out overnight. Tents, lawn chairs, and remnants of human habitation were every where. It looks bad. Cons: there isn't any priority for MoCo residents who actually shop at and support MC Liquor and Wine stores on a daily basis. Out of state or non county residents should have to register for a lottery and win to be able to participate. Cons: no food vendors present to offer food items for this day long event. Food trucks would have been nice. Cons: not a fan of this particular location as it is smack dab right in the middle of a highly populated neighborhood and shopping center. Parking became contentious. I will definitely attend another event. I hope they are able to make some additional changes to help improve user experience.

The place itself has a really cozy vibe--dim lighting, colorful décor, and everything was clean and well put together. We ordered a medium pizza, half pepperoni and half cheese, along with wings, all for a very reasonable price--and it was absolutely worth it. The pizza quality was outstanding: crispy crust with a slight char from the wood-fired oven that really elevated the flavor and it just tasted really fresh compared to a lot of other places I've tried. During our visit, Linda came by while we were eating and was incredibly friendly, polite, and charismatic. She made sure we had everything we needed and created a very warm, welcoming experience. You could tell she cares about the customers and the people she works with! Overall, everything--from the food to the atmosphere to the people--was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back again!

The Caesar salad was dressed generously and tasted perfect. We ordered the salad with grilled chicken but the chicken was meh. Tasted like Perdue shortcuts heated in the oven with a brown sauce. My main issue is the menu. All the pizzas are build your own, with a base price of $16, and each topping $2.50. So if I want a pizza ($16) with garlic ($2.50), onion ($2.50) , sausage ($2.50) and pepperoni ($2.50) those add up quick and become expensive ($26) . Why not have signature or specialty pies with a little of this and that? Also, no fountain soda and the can from the fridge was warm.
