YAY NEW BAG. A few…read moremonths ago, I received email from a nearby boutique, with an exciting announcement about an upcoming Brynn Capella Handbags trunk show. The pics caught my eye so I went to the website to get a better look. Well, I got busy and missed the trunk show and figured something else would come along, fate-style. You see, I NEED a new handbag since my last Matt & Nat disintegrated (no more vegan straps, I don't care how cute M&N is). Back to fate though - I was browsing yelp the other day and the Brynn Capella sale popped up in the Sales and Offers Near You section. I placed my order that day. The bag arrives... Love it. It's hounds tooth with dark red leather straps, nice detailing, and overall better than I expected for $84. It will be great for dressy or casual, and it's a nice size to hold everything I need. I also appreciated checkout via Paypal, and the follow-up email from the seller. Very nice service. Every stitch is lovingly sewed by Shernett herself, who was a Project Runway top 5 finalist in Canada. Brag worthy, don't you think? What sets Swaby apart from other lines is the clear vision and stamp of authenticity for each and every piece. Once you start to become familiar with Swaby, it is easy to discern it from other labels. An investment in the Swaby line will ensure that you will feel like an individual, beautiful but edgy at the same time. There is an effortless feel for the pieces created in the line because items are easily mixed and matched though they are high-end couture. Most of the items by Swaby are certainly statement pieces, but you never have to worry that the clothes are wearing you! The clothing seems to have a way of bringout out the inner model aka runway diva in any woman who dons an item from the line. Swaby features couture pieces from handbags to outwear and everything in between. Pieces are custom made to order because designs are adjusted to meet a clients specifications such as choosing different linings, adding/removing zippers, and modifying a design to suit a specific body type. Once you own a Swaby piece also known lovingly as a Swaby Baby, you can bring it in for alterations and repairs anytime, because Shernett wants her clients to love and enjoy her pieces forever. Between Swaby's eye for detail, impeccable customer service, creative vision and personable demeanor, the line certainly has a very bright and successful future in store. But then again, designers like Shernett Swaby don't come along everyday. Please note that the showroom is by appointment only and that there is also a website that features some, but not everything, that the designer is currently offering: http://shernettswaby.com

Lee is a very accessible person who is dedicated to style and all the little details that add up to a very large message - that your clothes say something authentic and original about you. I first met Lee at an event and bought some of his great bow ties. Very imaginative fabric patterns and well made. From there I purchased two custom shirts and drove him slightly crazy with my spreadsheets of options so we could quickly make more shirts. They are fantastic and all the little details make me feel special. I just worked with him on a sports coat. He came to my home and measured me up and we chose all the fabric, inside fabric, thread, button and other details. Just picked it up and again, a great sportscoat. Lee's space feels like a clothing laboratory in a well-worn space that transmits good ideas, and clothes happen there. I highly recommend Lee and know you will recommend him too.
