Let just say that I already scheduled my next session. She was gentle, compassionate and very attentive! She made to sure address every area I had concerns about as well as address areas that I thought I could get by her. The room was very comfortable and smelled great with 3 diffusers with essential oil. She gave me a bag full of salt with instructions on what to do and with a bottle water. I will definitely be back and recommend that you come pay a visit to Tanya.

She takes the time to get to know you and truly sees you as a person and not just a customer. She is easy to talk to and is able to adapt to your individualized needs for the massage experience. While my previous massage experience was limited to 3 different places, Tanya has hands-down created the most welcoming space. As a person who is more reserved and hesitant about opening up both about myself and my personal space, I immediately felt at ease. She took the time to determine exactly what type of massage (level of pressure, areas that may need more attention, etc.) would meet my goal: to decompress. During the massage itself, I was able to unwind and felt the burdens of life--big or small--melt away. I have nodded off each time, a sure sign that my mind has been liberated from nagging thoughts of that never-ending to-do list.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the customer service was lacking. I have been to…read moreseveral different spas, and this place is at the bottom of my list for customer service. While waiting for my appointment, a massage therapist walked out into the lobby, with her mask down, eating a snack and playing on her phone. I know people are at work and need breaks; I just did not think this was professional in the front lobby of the spa. My appointment was at 5:15pm. No one said anything to me about my massage therapist running behind. When I asked if she was late or what was going on, the receptionist's response was "Well, I have only been here half a day, so I don't know." ...... (????) When she returned, she did not apologize or provide an update; she simply sat back down at the front desk. My therapist came out shortly after to greet me and walk me back. There was no apology from her for running late and she did not introduce herself at all. She simply asked if there was any area she needed to focus on and left the room for me to undress. However, all of this being said, the massage was great and definitely worth it. I did ask my therapist what her name was when leaving, and the receptionist was very sweet and helpful while checking out. I just wish there would have been better service from the front end, so I would have been less annoyed going into my massage.

She asks at the start of each session about the problem areas. Once started, she is very intuitive about what needs attention and spends time there. She will vary the pressure if asked (she takes time to verbally check). But, frankly, she is so in tune with the depth I need, I almost always say, "already perfect." I leave feeling more relaxed and less tense. Her efforts are not just "feel good" in the moment... the positive healing results are lasting.
