I have been putting off this review, because frankly I'm not even sure where to start. But before…read moregoing into more detail I will say this: Dana is an absolute EXPERT in her field! A little bit about me: I have been getting my lips filled for the past 7 years or so. My natural lips are extremely thin and have no shape to them. When I went to see Dana, I had not touched them in about a year. The filler I had was migrated well above my natural lip line. I have been told by many injectors, one of which was an MD, that I would never be able to achieve the lip shape I wanted without getting a surgical procedure called a lip lift. When I went to see Dana, I was feeling self-conscious about my lips. I knew what other injectors had told me; my lips were hard to fill and had branded them as "difficult". Working with Dana was a completely different experience. She actually works with you and goes over a plan in detail to achieve your goals. She has a fantastic eye as well. She is what I would call a "conservative" injector. I believe she's prides herself on giving her patients the most natural look possible; a sometimes hard to find quality in the aesthetics industry! After several minutes of really listening to my concerns and evaluating my lips, she said she would not feel comfortable putting any more filler into my lips without first going in and dissolving the filler that had migrated above my top lip. I wasn't thrilled to hear this, as I have had my lips dissolved before and it was a very painful and uncomfortable experience that yielded disappointing results. However, after talking with her I decided to go with her recommendation. The dissolving process was no where near as uncomfortable as my previous one. She puts an additional numbing agent into the dissolver that makes all the difference to an otherwise very unpleasant experience! To wrap up my lip filler experience, I will say this: I have never been so confident with how my lips look and have cancelled my surgical consultation!!! She was able to give my lips a beautiful shape and get my lip to "lift" enough that a fantastic amount of pink shows in my upper lip (which I didn't think was possible after talking with several different injectors). Dana has educated herself with the industries top injectors and was able to use the latest techniques to give me my desired look!! I am beyond thrilled and would recommend her to anyone. Like I said, I have been to so many different injectors and she is BY FAR the best I have ever been to. She has a fantastic bedside manner as well :) Thank you Dana!!

For example, I am a smoker, I thought to myself huh they didn't tell me much about the aftercare and things I can't do so let me Google it! Google immediately tells me I should not smoke anything because it will cause the lips to pucker and not plump as good as it should/could, AS WELL as the possibility for an infection! I would've never known this if I didn't think of it myself (while smoking) and look it up. Their business is great, their work is great, staff is great, building is beautiful, just make sure if you get any procedures done here that you ask for an aftercare sheet for yourselves, or write down everything they tell you not to do or to do. Besides that, amazing work, I will be returning again but this time around I'll remember to ask for the full aftercare information on paper!

I had an appointment scheduled for 7/17. When I arrived at the office to check in, the woman at the desk seemed to be fumbling around. After a few minutes she proceeded to tell me that they had no appointment for me that day and that someone called me to change the appointment for the 23rd. At that point, I informed her that I never received any calls at all either on my cell or home number and there were absolutely NO messages left on either. The receptionist was a bit snippy with me. I had the appointment card with me for the 7/17 date and time on it , held it up and showed her and then she insisted that someone called. I told her if they had, it wasn't my number they called. Anyway, I said I did not want to get into a further discussion and that I would get back to them if I wanted to reschedule. The receptionist at the desk was rude, never once apologized or said that they were sorry for the 'so-called mix up'. She was very uncaring and dismissive. I was shocked that she had no compassion at all and just wanted to get out of that office. Thinking it over on my way home, I made the decision not to go back to them and change to a new Dermatologist which I did. I notified them several times via text and then called them to inform them I was no longer going back to them. I finally received 3 calls back for a couple of different reasons and never once was asked why I was leaving nor apologize for the appointment mixup. I absolutely will not recommend Skin Wellness at all. My suggestion is that the front desk receptionists, etc, all get professional customer service training.
