Oh, how I miss The Drayton Court Hotel (insert heavy sigh of longing). Our experience while staying at The Drayton Court, when visiting London for the 1st time (09/23/2023 - 09/26/2023), really was perfect & made our 1st international vacation that much more special. What makes The Drayton Court so special? See below for all the "Special-ness Specs"-- -Such a charming boutique hotel w/ all the London vibes (front of building is so pretty! See pics/videos posted w/ this review) - Historic (built in 1893) but doesn't feel outdated - Only has 26 rooms so no issues w/ noise, room was very clean & had a comfortable bed - It's a boutique hotel AND a pub (Fullers) all in one! Very convenient to grab some food and drinks at Fullers pub & then head back to your room afterwards. - Also has a beer garden! - Close to the West Ealing station..w/in walking distance - Great breakfast served in the Sitting Room - All employees were so friendly & very welcoming! Love the quality, service, professionalism, ease of parking and Tube access, and of course phenomenal made-to-order breakfast!

Good place to grab a quick bite (food came out within 10 minutes of ordering). Great selection of beers on tap. Plenty of seating and good ambience. The kids Mac and cheese was perfectly cooked Al dente. Vietnamese flavor chicken wings were tasty but not spicy. I really liked the pickled veggies that came with it. We also got the pizza+drink special. One pizza and a Guinness for 17.50, not s bad deal at all. read more

A very nice historic (well over a hundred years) hotel in EalIng. Our room is a really nice, clean, spacious en-suite room on the first floor and the staff super efficient and friendly. Unheard of for London - parking is FREE! Also the prices are exceedingly reasonable. Why free parking? Why lovely room at very reasonable prices? The slight down side it is 1 mile (19 minutes walk) from the nearest underground (tube) Station - Ealing Broadway (zone 3) for Central and District lines. On the other hand you are literally over the road from thE West Ealing railway station that takes you to Paddingtom and even Heathrow Airport. All of this for a very reasonable price (we paid about £104 all in) and breakfast included (a buffet and/or an extensive choice of cooked breakfast - I had the Eggs Royale Definitely two thumbs up! Drayton Court was my homebase during a recent trip to London. Located in the Ealing neighborhood, it will take you approximately 25 mins via Uber to get into the City Centre. I enjoyed staying in a local neighborhood and witnessing the locals gather in the pub (main level of the hotel) to watch a soccer match. I didn't have any beer, but the food sure was delicious. I stayed in the Kind Hearts and Coronets suite, and it was quite a treat. It came with a comfortable bed, a huge bathroom equipped with a claw foot tub, and plenty of space. The employees were all very friendly and eager to assist with any questions I had. Skip the city centre and stay at The Drayton Court for an authentic experience in London. read more

I have spent the last week here and I love it. The price is reasonable. Easy access to the tube/underground. The mattress is the only weak spot. It was not especially comfortable. The people are the real prize. Taylor, a woman that works the front desk is absolutely amazing. Chatty and full of information she readily dispenses. She is a real asset to the hotel. The morning breakfast attendant, Todd, was also paramount in making our stay enjoyable. He is extremely polite, helpful and chipper. We would gladly stay here again. read more

This is my local pub, but despite walking past it almost every day I only have been there once. The atmosphere is lovely and very English. The food, and especially the deserts were great... Slightly overpriced. Pool tables. read more

It was at least my fith visit here until I discovered the EPIC BEER GARDEN!! Seriously, I just didn't know there was a back end whatsoever. But it is huge. A mixture of patio and grass seating. Just goes to show what a creature of habit I am when all I do is hide in the bit with the pool table. The Drayton is one of the nicer pubs in the area, which is why I actually get a bus, yes a bus to get there. It's a nice fullers pub, hotel and wedding venue. The pub is nicely divided in sections, without being completely cut off from one another. Drinks are reasonable and there's a good range. The Drayton tries to be a bit different. The menu changes and there's a daily specials menu each day. They also have lots of entertainment such as comedy nights and I believe... salsa. The toilets are lovely. The ladies are a bit of a mission away. You have to go past the hotel reception and down the stairs, but its a necessarily and pleasant enough journey. Now I know the gardens there tho, I'll be enjoying by pint al fresco from here on in. read more

I stayed with a couple of my favourite weirdos recently, and the Drayton is their local. They take their local watering hole very seriously, and I think they're here at least three times a week. I know in four short days I was there twice. It's a pub, a hotel, an event venue, and has a huuuuge garden patio complete with a playground for the littlest drunks. When we came in the first time we sat outside and enjoyed a few drinks and when we returned for dinner we sat inside and then retired* to the drawing room for drinks. *When speaking of drawing rooms, one must say "retire to the drawing room"... there is no other option. read more

OK so I better update this review. Food used to suck now vastly improved on all fronts. Only thing that I find really annoying and its not just the Drayton.. Those little baskets of chips. Give me a break if I am going to splash out on a burger give me a few more than an handful of chips please !!! Nice little pub with a huge outdoor seating area and a nice play area for the kids at the back. Great for large groups. Nice selection of beers and cider on offer. The food is good, I had the cod and chips - pretty much standard everywhere you go, big plate of food handed to you. The atmosphere in the evenings is slightly romantic with the lanterns being lit. Oh Drayton I love you I do I've spent sooo many times after work, here having a quick pint birthdays and the various leaving do's including mine were spent here. Your such a great big pub aren't you, I've spent time in your big garden, also like the balcony you got overlooking the fantastic garden. Also when I want a break from drinking you provide me with sporting entrainment whether its the TVs or the pool tables. I love the atmosphere ere mate, it's great whether it quiet or busy, and also great for groups. I do like your beers, but mate I have to tell you, your cocktails are more like mock tail! maybe just stick to what your good at...beer. I see your moving up in the world by adding a hotel next door...good on ya son!. I don't work in the area anymore....so I'll don't when I'll be back, but thanks for all the memories mate!! Nice venue, not an incredible menu though. Eaten here a few times and would recommend the burgers over the more adventurous food, they are alright. Be aware of the fish (!?) in the Cesar salad. Good beer and great service. read more

Hired the Drayton for a 40th birthday party. I don't normally bother to leave reviews but the team were superb and everything was just done. Once they knew what I wanted they were very proactive and the service was second to none. They even sourced some drinks specially! We had the hog roast which was excellent and got great feedback from all guests. A great building, recently renovated to a very high standard and they were excellent across the board. read more

A barn! A massive Fullers managed house that has 2 indoor bars, 1 outdoor for those few sunnt days and a massive seperate room that shows sports on a big screen. Varied food menu and a pool table, as well as the biggest beer garden I have ever seen. Clean, with friendly staff, The Drayton is well worth a visit. read more

Nice local pub which is somewhat overpriced considering its location. Fantastic garden area - really is rather plush. Food is decent, but also overpriced. Staff are friendly and efficient. No loud music playing so conversation can be heard although some think the lack of music makes it less attractive. Great events held downstairs and generally a good time is had every time we've been (never seen any trouble in here - security staff are friendly and effective). Worth booking a table if you're going in a group as it gets busy. Pool tables available and sports shown on TV. read more

Stayed in the hotel and it was exceptional. Having lived in Ealing for years and known the pub pre-refurb it seemed too good to be true, but the quality of decor, fittings and service is exemplary. I've stayed in 5 star hotels that have been far short of this quality and with smaller rooms. No noise from the pub or the roads, and one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I've had. Not only would I recommend it highly, I'm planning an excuse to stay again. read more
