My mother in law ordered my wife and I an arrangement for Xmas. According to the florist they delivered it yesterday yet nothing came. We live on a private driveway which is covered by a motion activated camera system so we know nothing came to the house. My mother in law called and had them send the arrangement with instructions to take to front door and ring doorbell. At 10am today (according to video) the delivery driver brought the arrangement to the door and set it on the deck never ringing the doorbell. Todays temperature in maryland this morning is 14 degrees. I was less than 10 feet away from the door when I heard the driver walk up the stairs and then walked away. I brought them inside and my wife unwrapped the arrangement.When she checked to see if it needed water she found that the green foam water block used in flower arrangements was a solid block of ice. We went online to get the contac information for Drayer's and also looked at the arrangement photo online. The one we received looks NOTHING like the photo. On the whole arrangement (shaped like a Xmas tree) there are only 5 flowers. Looking at the photo online on one side we count 7 flowers plus it should have had red ribbon and what looks like Xmas balls. The arrangement has been inside now for 2 hours and 35 minutes and the flowers have already started to wilt from (likely) staying in the truck overnight. I have left my contact information with the florist and requested a call from the owner/manager, We will see if it happens. We have the video of their driver delivering this morning and what the flowers we got compared to what they should look like. I can understand why this florist has such a low rating. very sad for a company that has been in the business for 30 years. I must say I am very disappointed with the item (Natural Poinsettia) delivered today. I was expecting something that looks like it was put together by a florist. Sort of like the picture on your website of the item I ordered. What was delivered looked like a poinsettia I could have picked up at a grocery store for a fifth of the price. It was a plastic pot wrapped in gold aluminum foil with nothing else except the plant in the pot. WOW! No BASKET, no pinecones, no evergreens? Was there a mistake in what was sent out? I would be happy to get an explanation from management. I tried to send an email to the email address on the website, but it would never go through. So, we show one thing and deliver something else. Ordered flowers this morning to be delivered to my girlfriend at work today. I received an email at 2:26p saying it was delivered but it wasn't delivered until 445p, just before they closed. I started calling once I realized they were NOT delivered and the gal at the shop (but sounded like a call center) couldn't track down their ONE delivery person for several hours and was also pretty rude. Very poor service and response to a delivery issue and of course there was no management on site that day. See what happens when you trust your incompetent staff?! read more

Hard to believe this place is still in business. We received a forwarded voicemail from a friend (originating from the Drayer's driver) telling her the flowers see ordered for me after my cancer surgery late (it was 8:30pm) and were left at my mailbox on the road at the end of my 250ft driveway. I honestly cannot believe that anyone would leave GET WELL flowers in thirty degree temperatures, at the end of a long driveway, at night instead of bringing them to the house door. There is a lamp post in our yard, the porch lights were on so it was not dark, and other deliveries including flowers by better florists were brought to the house by other companies the same day. We contacted them by the customer service email address provided and it went unanswered -which I see based on all of the bad reviews is the standard practice for this business. Do yourself a favor- use anybody else because the service is terrible and the flowers are poorly done -the grocery store has better flowers for a fraction of the price. read more

I ordered Tulips for a friends funeral because he was from the Netherlands. I asked for an arrangement but instead got 12 Tulips stuffed in a glass vase. Not a bit pretty and I was very embarrassed as he was my daughter in laws father. I have done business with Drayers before and they always did a very nice job. I'll have to think about it next time. My husband ordered a flower arrangement from "From You Flowers" for an anniversary gift. He ordered an upgraded arrangement and paid extra to have it delivered by noon. It was not delivered by noon and the on-line service processed a return for the speedy delivery. The flower arrived at 6 pm as we were leaving to go to dinner. We were shocked at the quality of the arrangement. The card with the flower showed that it was arranged by Drayer's Florist. The arrangement was to include 6 types of flowers, but my flower only included 4. I understand that certain flowers may not always be available, but there should have been substitutions included to keep the color scheme. The flower we received is not only boring in color, but not put together well. It looks like the flowers were just put in the vase with no attention to design. We will never order from "From You Flowers" again and definitely would not recommend Drayer's Florist. read more

Writing during COVID, for context. Called originally with the intention of picking up flowers for my girlfriends birthday. Due to the pandemic their storefront is closed, which is completely understandable. They inform me that they can do same day delivery as I live right up the street. Halfway through the transaction, I'm told that they can't do same day delivery, at which point I cancel the transaction since there won't be anybody home the following day. I'm then hung up on. You have lost a long time customer. Disappointed from 20 years or more of wonderful experiences. My husband is a frequent flyer to Drayers on Ebenezer road. Stopping in weekly to pick up roses for me on Tuesdays. Ordering for our special occasions to deliver to work or home. What a disappointment this Valentines day was to us both. He ordered a dozen of red roses, with two white roses ($120 big hike in price) to be delivered to my work in White Marsh before 4p. NO delivery occurred. He called Friday morning to let them know. The roses then arrived, 8 drooping roses, no filler greenery, 1 red rose. Water half full and broken off roses. My secretary asked if they were actually going to leave them they looked so pitiful. Driver laughed and said I just deliver them. When I called and sent pictures it was obvious others experienced the same poor service. One man even stated in the store his new girlfriend, new relationship did not even receive her roses. I never got a return call after two attempts to speak to someone after they took my name and number. I called back the second time and waited on hold 30 min and just hung up. My husband had to go back to the store to get reimbursed and show the pitiful photos. They did give him his $120 back, but offered no sorry or replacement roses. Poor customer Service. The previous owners would be appalled at this product and service. It does not always pay to sell out to the big guy who can not meet even minimal expectations. Sending all deliveries from the Woodlawn store (per the sales person) was definitely a bust this Valentines day. Probably should have made sure you could handle the orders. Forget Drayers Florist. They have been sold and it's not good. I ordered a pretty violet basket for my moms 91st birthday to be delivered on Tuesday. What she got on Tuesday was pretty but not what I ordered...no violets at all. Email sent to me said flowers were delivered a bit after noon...they were actually delivered around 4 pm. I called and was told they'd redeliver the violet basket on Thursday (was too late to do it on Wednesday) and take the wrong one back. Nope, they never came. On Friday, I had to make a special trip to Drayers. The computer was checked & I was told the flowers would be delivered today (Friday). Apparently they ran out of violets and someone was supposed to call to let me know that...nope, that didn't happen. Friday, after having mom out all day, we got home to the flowers sitting on her front porch (right in front of the steps). They were violets, but...no ribbon on the handle, handle falling off the basket, basket falling apart, 2 violets instead of 3, AND the violets are half dead. I immediately called Drayers and they are emailing me the managers info since no one in the store can resolve this issue. (The person in the store was extremely nice and apologized many times...not her fault.) I called the manager, got a recording that put me on hold then came back and said no one was available to help me, goodbye & hung up. I emailed the manager, explaining the situation and asking for a complete refund. It is now Sunday and I have gotten no response at all. read more

I bought a flower for my mothers birthday and when she received it, it was nothing like the picture. I emailed them but they said that substitutions may be made. There was not a substitution for the bow and the lack of flowers that my mother received. I asked for a replacement and they only offered and $10 gift card! I spent a lot of money on this for my dear mother and she received nothing like what was in the picture. It was also delivered without a box. I just wanted a replacement or most of my money back but they denied both. I won't be buying flowers here again and I recommend you don't either. read more

The worst experience a parent/family member can experience. Been a Customer if Drayer's florest for years with an account. Ordered a boutonnière and corsage for my sons Junior prom. Ordered as we always do and live 3 miles from the florist. Went to pick up Saturday to find out the order was sent to the Catonsville location. What a disaster.l! DM Patricia Pgogoll was no where to be found and a phone number or store location would not be provided. Was given the regional supervisor' email address and immediately sent a request to call me. Nothing! Still have not received a call. Local Drayers representative said she did not have a number. When asked if I could have a number for where the flowers were she said they can not be contacted!!!!!! You can only imagine the feeling with only 2 hours before we had to meet for pictures. The representative called Dundalk Florist to see if they could help!!!!! We drove to Dundalk Florist and they immediately met our needs in 1/2 hour and the cost was 30.00 less!!!!! I sent a complaint to customer service and have yet to hear anything. Still trying to get refund as well!! I can not tell you the level of frustration I am feeling. I don't know what has changed, but the customer service I received on Saturday, the day of my sons prom was horrific. My wife ordered the corsage and boutonnière last week and was scheduled to pick up on Saturday. We have an account with Drayers and have dealt with them for years. The order was placed and when we went to pick up Saturday at 2:30 we were told the order was not there and was at a Catonsville location??? We were not made aware of this and don't understand why a location would be selected over 30 miles from my home when we live 5 miles away from home. We spoke to a lady at the location who stated there is nothing that can be done. When I asked for a # to a supervisor she mentioned she has attempted to reach her district manager but no one knows where she is. I then asked for her supervisor. I received an email and sent an email along with my cell # however never received a response. We asked for the # to the Catonsville location and we were told there is no number available. We were told there were no numbers for anyone! Here we were less than 2 hours from the time we were to meet for pictures with no flowers and no solutions. I am a district manager myself and was blown away on the lack of provided by Drayers florist and the stress placed on our family by this experience was pathetic. I don't know how a business can be run like this, with so little focus on the consumer. Go to Dundalk Florist! Mother's Day flowers were left on my mom's porch for 7 hours in the sun. The roses that should have lasted a week were entirely opened and lasted 2 days. They didn't knock or ring the doorbell. What I ordered was NOTHING like what they delivered. Extremely disappointed. Dundalk Florist has always been top notch and will call if they need to substitute flowers or vases. Last time I try to save a little money using teleflora, lesson learned. read more

I ordered flowers for my grandmother's funeral using the FTD online site. Drayer's filled the order. It was supposed to arrive on Saturday for the Sunday viewings. When I arrived for the family's private viewing, I discovered my flowers had not arrived. This set me into distress. The flowers finally arrived 10 minutes before the viewing. However, they did not look like the flowers on the FTD website which was roses, gladiolus, hydrangias, and day lilies. Instead, half of the roses were replaced with carnations. Calla lilies made up half of the lilies. They used mums and snap dragons. There were no gladiolas. Also several of the flowers were already wilted. When I called to work out the issue, the first time I was sent to a voice mail. I called back and they said they could do nothing for me because the flowers were ordered through the FTD website online. I called FTD. At first, the representative said they would refund me. He put me on hold and then came back on the phone to say they would resend the flowers to the recipient. By the time this happened, I explained my grandmother was already buried and the funeral was over. I will never order flowers from FTD or Drayer's again. When your loved one dies, you have one chance to get it right. As well, when you are already experiencing grief, having this to deal with was an added burden. Never again!!! read more

Ordered flowers for deceased cousin on Friday - to be delivered by noon today (Sunday). At 1:20 P.M. received email flowers were undeliverable.....they were going to a funeral home. Being Sunday, no answer at Drayers or Rutledge from whom I received email. Responded to email - returned as undeliverable. Called funeral home - they were there at 8:30 A.M. and NO REASON why flowers could not be delivered. So, today is Thursday, four days after Mother's Day. I placed an order five days before Mother's Day for flowers to be delivered to my mother on the day before Mother's Day. They never arrived. So I spoke to Kristell on Monday who said that the address that I had given for my mother was deemed "A bad address" by the deliverer apparently and that she would arrange to have it delivered on Monday. By Tuesday, it was still not delivered. At this point, it's two days after Mother's Day, so I called again and spoke with Helen and I requested that I receive a credit since it looks like my mother is not going to get her flowers. Well, lo and behold, four days after Mother's Day, the flowers arrive. Sorry, but this is unacceptable. Everyone that I spoke to was very nice but this is really no way to conduct business that is dependent on dates on the calendar. By the way, I ordered the flowers online and entered the address exactly as it was requested on the online form. The way it printed out on the receipt was the street address on a line with the apartment number immediately after the street address. I'm perplexed as to how the deliverer couldn't figure this out or just didn't call either my mother's number which I had given them or my number. read more

Went in recently to buy flowers to give people in my family since my Grandpa just passed. The lady behind the desk (name was Dianne on the receipt) was less than happy to help us. Every time I asked for an opinion or different option (you know, since she is the expert) she barely answered and looked annoyed.
