I have had several issues with dealing with this provider. Last time I made an appointment last…read moreyear... Nobody ever gave me a reminder call and it was three months past the time I had made the appointment. So say I made in October the appointment three months later... Nobody ever called me for a reminder call. And today... I had gone to an appointment that I had made a few days ago which again no reminder call for today, but also no assistance on where to find the building. I have never been to the Hackettstown location and the Hackettstown location. There's only 15 minutes away from my house. I was supposed to be there on time today with five minutes to spare. However, my GPS was take me to the wrong buildings , and then when I finally found the location, it was behind all this construction that was not easy to get to with all the trucks that were in my way at the time. Nonetheless, I had a rental car to use today because I work from home normally but I needed a rental car after my back last go out from my own car yesterday so I got a rental to go to this appointment and had trouble locking the rental car doors. I had let them know that I was trying to get there but still when I walked in. I was 22 minutes late from the issues I had and I tried to explain it to them of what was going on. The lady at the front desk said because it's a 20 minute Slot time that I missed, but they would not take me and I was only a couple minutes past that. She then said she was gonna check with the doctor but came out two seconds later stating that the doctor refused to see me because I was a couple minutes past their 20 minute deadline supposedly. First of all, I wanna see this in writing that they have a 20 minute window. Too, there's no way they asked the doctor and the nurse who came out with her also had an attitude about it. Again, I tried to explain the situation, but nobody cared, and nobody cared that. I even called prior to that to let them know what was happening. I then called another number to make a complaint and to try to reschedule an appointment since the nurse there did not offer to schedule me for any location, she kept consistent on one location I want to one time. The person on a phone call who apparently works in the Sparta location had said well there was another one available in the afternoon, I said well I already had to leave work to make this appointment and I can't do it again today. And I tried to tell her what happened and she says well we all have appointments that we have to try to get to. We all have this issue. So the condescending words and attitude used to me was just appalling. Things happen sometimes that people don't make their appointments on time and this is the first time with this provider that I ever was late with the appointment. Unfortunately, it was out of my circumstances because I've never been to the location nobody there wanted to help me find the building so I was on my own. Plus, I had a car that is not mine that the lock did not want to lock and I'm definitely not leaving a car parked, not locked. I feel like this is a scam to get people to pay a no-show fee or whatever crap that they wanna pull. I left a book behind and I went back to retrieve it, and I heard them telling another woman the same exact thing that they had just told me. So either they are overbooking or they're not honest with how they Conductor practice. Nonetheless, for people to have so much attitude who work in the front office so maybe this profession is not for you

It was very easy to get a same day appointment in the morning to have my injured shoulder looked at. They promptly brought me in, weighed me (ugh) & then had me wait 30 seconds & then was whisked to an X-ray room & they did X-rays immediately. I sat in the room, answered questions from the doctor's assistant, & then within 3 minutes, the doctor walked in& he already looked at my x-rays! Talk about prompt service! Very professional, knew what he was talking about, good bedside manner (I saw Dr. Sayde) & I would definitely recommend this place. Loved that I was in & out & how organized & pleasant everyone was!

I was offered three slots, which really was convenient. His staff is very efficient and greet you warmly, and the wait was tolerable. It is a doctor's office after all, some degree of waiting is just an expectation. Once inside the examining room, Dr. Petrucelli greeted me and was just great. Listened to my explanation of reason for visitation, compassionate, and gave a good examination of the impacted area. He took interest in what I do for a living, and we had a wonderful discussion following. I highly recommend Dr. Petrucelli for all your orthopedic needs.

I could barely walk. Since seeing him have also had an x-ray that showed arthritis and bone spurs. He was an hour and a half late, aggravating my sciatica (the front desk staff was its own example of complete ineptitude and unprofessionalism, making me fill out the wrong forms and laughing at my problem) and he saw me for 5 whole minutes before literally telling me to stop whining and wasting his time. Told me only old people get these problems. I said "I'm only 37" to which he responded "exactly". Aside from that, dismissed me completely with non-answers (what doctor ever shrugs and says "dunno" when asked about how to treat something?). No suggested treatment, no physical therapy, no pain management. Nothing. Sadly, not the worst bedside manner I've ever seen, but a pretty close second. Seriously disappointing. If the spine isn't your area of expertise (I was assured it was), you should have referred me to someone competent.

Dr. Itani did the first of 2 surgeries that I needed and did an excellent job in what he needed to do for me. Everything was explained clearly and my subsequent follow ups at his office were good - he is very thorough and knows what he is doing. My second surgery in May 2022 went fine although the second one was quite challenging due to the amount of scar tissue that I had. I am glad that I had this Dr. do my surgeries & I truly don't understand all these crazy reviews out there. My insurance paid for the hospital bills and surgeries even with Dr. Itani being an out of network doctor for my insurance.

After a half hour they assured me they figured it out and my appointment was covered, I explained that if it was not covered and they couldn't tell me what this could cost I would have to cancel. I was assured it was covered and brought into the doctor. Well the assistant who informed me the doctor would not prescribe most of my meditations because I needed a neurologist for those. (I just got new insurance! I'm doimg the best I can). 45 minutes after she left Dr. Mercado came in. The doctor was cold, dismissive, and rude. Dr. Mercado never looked me in the eye not once. Told me my Lyme diagnosis was nothing to worry about since I've had it before. This was my first appointment with a new doctor because my previous doctor of 20 years is dying. I guess maybe I was spoiled having a doctor who cared and worked at an office who knew what they were doing. After this terrible experience which was confirmed to be covered by my insurance I recieved a bill for $278. Never again. I got a bill for $280.
