My two daughters love going to art class every weekend. They have learned so much and developed amazing skills. My oldest daughter (8) was been attending for almost two years and my youngest (4) for almost a year. My oldest has also participated in the summer art camps for two years and has throughly enjoyed the fun projects. The teachers are simply the best - fun, patient, caring, and encouraging. They create a great learning environment. I have my 2 boys enrolled in an art class and I have to say that they have learned to draw and you can see the improvement week over week. They love the classes and are so excited after every class. My daughter has always loved drawing and worked at getting better. We decided to sign her up for an art class so she could learn more tools of the trade. We chose Draw2Art since it was close by and for the last 2 years we have been very happy with their program. My daughter learned how to use several new media and techniques. The teachers use a light guidance model to allow the students to draw at their pace with individual direction and small class sizes. She made some friends along the way. What is happening with customer service? My daughter was really excited about starting an art class so we went searching for a place for her to take lessons. This one is closest to our home so we walked in to get information. There were 2 instructors in the room. They both looked up, made eye contact with me and looked away. I stood there for over 1 minute and still...not greeting. No hello. No i'll be right with you. Not one word of acknowledgement. It was embarrassing for me as a potential customer. So we walked out. I won't spend my hard earned money on a place that can't even greet people at the door. read more

My daughter has been taking a class with KidsArt for almost 6 months. Ms. Monica (the manager) is awesome. She is very soft spoken yet very nice to the kids. My daughter is very shy but she feels safe enough to go there and explore her art. You will see the result from the first lesson. Most important thing is "kids love the class". It is amazing to see such children in the class are focusing on drawing a picture for an hour and half! The lesson fee with materials are a bit expensive compared with other Art Classes but it is well worth it as Ms. Monica also teaches kids about the basic of art like color mixture, differences in painting styles, and such. And my daughter won the 2nd place for a local art contest after 3 months attending the class. So I have no complains with the studio! read more

I have always thought she was good at art but after attending KidsArt her artwork is amazing! We recently took my 6 year old son to an art museum for a Dia De Los Muertos celebration. Yes, we did that. You might expect the rest of my review to be a rant on why I shouldn't have done that but it's quite the opposite. My son has been attending Drawn to Art for a few months and his love and appreciation for art has grown. Instead of complaining about the quiet and boring museum absent of fish, dinosaur bones, or churros; my son walked through each gallery area and loved seeing the designs, colors, and mediums. Yes, he knew what medium meant. Drawn to Art has been such a great place for my son. The teachers and lessons are top notch and they build up your children's skills and confidence. The dose of creativity has brought a much needed balance between regular school work, sports, and other commitments. It's easy to disregard that natural need to create because we get too busy. Well, I have good news for you. The class structure is parent friendly. You check your child in and you have to leave. You can use that time to sit in a coffee shop and relax for an hour. You will probably see me with my book from time to time. Give this place a chance, you won't regret it. read more

This is definitely not a Pre-school environment. My son is 4 years old and had never been to a class with children before. Ms. Monica and her assistant were very aware of that. They did not take the time to show him actual artistic techniques and methods as to the other children in the class. They zipped by him and focused with the older and more experienced children. He cried in the bathroom of their facility because he said the teacher wasn't responding to him. Both ladies would rapidly telling him to draw lines on the step by step art example and ended up filling in the coloring for him at times. I was watching everything through the window outside. I had to switch him to another class where the teacher has the double amount of children at a time but takes the time to explain Art theory. After posting this review, The regional manager and Co-founder of this company contacted me in private and expressed that they were concerned but after a few messages, after explaining in detail what actually happened in the sessions in question, She had the audacity to state "it is hasty to impugn her (Monica) reputation" and "I stand behind her 100% as an ethical employee and have many, many years of experience working with her to back that up." Like I said to the Co-founder and Regional Manager, I just happened to have a problem with the employees and their personal/work ethics. Not necessarily the company's values. There is nothing "hasty" about speaking the truth in this situation. I understand she is proud of her company's attribute and success, but honestly cannot by any means speak for everyone and be 100% accurate. The Co-Founder raved about their successful turn outs with other families and used "We" in her responses such as: "We demonstrate", "We teach" "We have been using this methodology". Those things are something you say to a potential client, recruiter or competitive company. By her telling me this, not only did she disregard my honest statements towards her employees but is also showing me that she does not know EXACTLY what goes on at every session. My 8 year old daughter enjoys the classes here. She has been going to KidsArt for almost 3 years now. Started from tracing, drawing, coloring with oil pastel to paint with watercolor and (maybe?) acrylics. The lessons are not boring either. She can learn to draw cartoon character that she loves. Teachers are very nice and great with kids! During spring and summer break, it also offers special classes (sculpture, draw cartoon, etc). The only drawback... the lessons are pretty expensive. read more

I absolutely love KidsArt! My Girl Scout troop just did a class there to earn their drawing badge. The girls were so focused and came out with the cutest drawings! They had so much fun and the ladies were so sweet and great with the kids. My daughter also took classes there and keeps begging me to go back but we have a lot of other commitments but I definitely want to find time to get her back into classes. My daughter has been taking classes here for the last two and a half months. She is four years old and absolutely loves it! She enjoys picking out what she is going to draw and the sense of accomplishment when she finishes each project. They can usually finish a project each week so the results are pretty quick for the kiddos. I have noticed not only improvement in her tracing, coloring, and even attention span (which was good to begin with), but I have also noticed her writing of letters is getting better too! She normally wants mom to accompany her to every activity, but this is one of the few places where she is ok without me. The manager, Monica, works very well with the kids...pushes them to their ability and makes them get their own supplies and drawing books instead of doing everything for them which is a great thing! Wonderful find! Traditional art instruction managed by Ms. Monica. She is soft-spoken and encouraging but also keeps a very controlled, quiet and calm environment. Not sure how she does that but the results are amazing. My daughter has been here for one year and loves every minute of her class time. Saw this place as I was browsing through yelp. I tried it out and signed up my two little boys for classes and they love it. Ms. Monica is the best ever. She keeps me informed of events happening and also keeps in touch when my boys have missed a Saturday or two. Great location at a small strip of shops. We take the boys there on Saturdays and they enjoy their time and have a great smile on their face every time we pick them up from their class. read more

My son has been here twice and both times he left the class with smile. Ms. Melissa is the teacher who work with my son and I was surprised that she already remembered him at the 2nd class. I also like the fact that kids were asked to start the next drawing after they finished one not like some other places kids just hang around until picked up if they finished their work early. read more
