I don't even know where to start…read more.. Games Unlimited is the best game store I have been to in my entire lifetime. Before moving back to California, this place felt like home to me. Every worker here will nail you with the best board game recommendations not even AI can beat. I have never seen a board game store so large and organized. You'd think because I'm from SoCal that this store would be nothing to me but you could never be so wrong. Everyone who works here is so personable, so lovable and so passionate about the hobbies they share. I will never forget this store. I was introduced to game genres I never thought I would be interested in like 'Shake That City' to 'Mysterium Park'. Memories were shared here with my S.O. that I will never forget and those memories I took back home to play with my family and friends. I don't think I am ever going to experience the hospitality I experienced in this place ever again. Please see their website for their online calendar of events. I personally do not play these games, but for years, my husband, who plays Warhammer, has been a customer of this store. He has felt overall happy with the selection and prices of merchandise. Last year, my husband needed a particular product that two other stores did not have in stock, and he felt thankful that he could purchase it at Fabricator's Forge. Through this store, he also special-ordered another product. This year, he browsed the merchandise and did not see a particular book that he wanted. He mentioned that some other customers whom he knows have had issues with customer service.

It used to be extremely isolationist and the employees would actively push you to not buying anything and leaving asap as you've probably interrupted their D&D or MTG game by shopping. Their selection was nearly illogically lacking, such as 1 of 5 core books being the only available or simply not getting any new or desired items. Yet the ccgs seem to be enough to have allowed them to move and grow They're worth the 2nd chance even though they may have seriously offended you, which is why no one I know, (40yr of CCG ttrpg friends and experience and friends), will ship there. The employees would start fights rather than actually help. But I have not seen that since they moved. The place was nice and cool to escape the warm weather, several tables in the middle for various card games, free little candies for the kids and I assume for the adults too. :) Everything is neat and organized and you can play any game they have before you buy it to check it out. The kids were talking to the owners about card games and she asked if they had ever played MAGIC and they said no, so she gave them each a free deck and talked to them about it. I was impressed by everything here and the prices were good as well. They are moving into a new location (still in SUNCREST, but a bigger location) in about a month.
