Our fabricator tried for 2 months to get an invoice. They should have been more proactive!! GMD has definitely a lack of professionalism, communication and consideration. We were in the facility 2 weeks before the sold the slabs. Not one word of any issues. We are building a house and changed our kitchen design and color based on 2 sheets Bali Blue Quartzite. They were holding the slabs on site. I spoke with the office manager when I found out they were sold, her words before hanging up were " Have a nice day" NO sorry or any concern. She enjoyed the fact see sold the slabs underneath us. BE VERY CAREFUL!!

I own a condo in Newport RI. We had extensive water damage to our unit and needed a plasterer…read more Our neighbor recommended Farrell Plastering. The owner responded to our phone call and gave us a free estimate (traveling to Newport). They did an exceptional job, both with their work and the cleanup afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone!!

I was referred to this company by someone in the building trades. My guess is they worked together…read moreon commercial projects, as that seemed to be more the focus of Farrell. The owner responded quickly, gave a price that is within the reasonable range from what I read online, and scheduled the work quickly. The crew were great, moving furniture that would not fit through the interior doorway in my house to the yard, even taking the door off its hinges and putting it back again when they were done. They covered the walls and floor to keep everything clean and removed all their debris when they were done. Some of the work was subcontracted and both sets of workers were at my home for early morning appointments so I would not have to miss too much work. They were efficient and while I am no expert the work looks good quality. Several things made me think they are more geared to commercial work. They split the bill into two equal parts, each below $1000, the state threshold requiring a written contract, but the plastering crew was more than twice as large and here twice as long, so I think that was not the real split, and was done to cut down on paperwork since it is a small job they fit in around other work. I think someone who specializes in residential work would have given an estimate/contract via email rather than a price via text, given paperwork including a statement of warranty coverage, and would not have asked for payment in full before the work was done. (They got it after the fact.) At a time when skilled tradespeople are in high demand I appreciate them doing the job quickly and doing it well, even though some of the process was not what I expected or would prefer.

I had an unusual request. My husband recently had his foot and part of his calf amputated. His pant…read moreleg needs a zipper so he can open the pant leg from the bottom up. This gives him access to his prosthetic and makes it easier to get the pants on/off. I took the pants to Lee's Tailors and there were 2 women at the desk. I told them I needed a zipper in the pant leg and showed them where (inner seam). One of the women thought that was hysterically funny - not sure why. She laughed and laughed, and then went in the back. A bit disrespectful, but whatever. The other woman was nice and respectful, showed me what she would do and how much it would cost. The pants were ready 2 days later, and they're perfect. They collect payment up front, and give a ticket for picking up. They did a great job.

I came in around 11 am on a weekday and was immediately greeted by the staff. The measurement process was quick and efficient. The staff had me pay up front and set a pick-up date, then I was on my way. I felt that the price was fair, especially having gotten similar alterations done at other tailors in the area. I told the team that I just needed the dress back within 3 weeks but they told me that it would be ready within 2-3 days! My dress was ready on the agreed-upon date and the hemming was well done on all layers. If you live near the Natick Mall and require any hemming work on your clothing, I would recommend checking out Lee's Tailor!

After ordering sleeping bags from LL Bean I needed to find a place to have the embroidery done…read more Yeah yeah I know LL Bean offers embroidery but if you have kids, and teens at that, then you know that what you think and what they want are two different things. I gave the girls the sleeping bags and carrying cases minus the stitching as gifts and then asked them what they wanted. I got the "I don't know" answer so I ventured over to 4 Seasons with the carrying bags. They gave me color and font options for the girls to pick from. After getting my instructions from the kids, back I went with my instructions. They did a great job and the bags were done. However, after a few trips some of the stitching got caught on "something" and came unraveled. Back in I went to have it fixed. They fixed it up at no charge and no questions. The original price was reasonable and they have an upstairs store so I can buy local school apparel too. The only hard part is matching up my work hours and theirs. I wish I could swing by on a Sat but they are only open weekdays with hours like the bank so I do have to make a bit more of an effort to get over there. Other than that I have been really happy with the work and the service.
