(Nov 13-16, 2025). Her 2009 Mitsubishi Galant had a problem that had to be fixed before we could leave the area. Car was blowing only cold air, no heat at all. I look for mechanics in the area, since I was flying in from Dallas, TX, I was not familiar with local mechanics. I called W&J Automotive and explained the problem to Wesley Darnell, the mechanic. He stated he knew exactly what the problem was, so I hired him to fix it. As it turns out, he either did not know, or took complete advantage of the situation. Based on his recommendations because he couldn't solve the problem, we ended up replacing the thermostat first, that did not fix the problem, then the blower motor, didn't help either, then the heater core, the blender door, and some resistor. After all this work was done, the repairs only produced lukewarm air, no heat. Wesley stated that the heat problem would be fixed the longer the car was driven. We left the area on Nov 16, 2025 and up to now, Jan. 4th, 2026, the car is not blowing hot air. Bottomline, we paid him over $1500.00 and the problem never got fixed. I have left phone messages for him several times, and not one response. I am giving this review to warn other potential victims not to deal with business. Frank in Texas.

The first place we ended up had sent in an estimate that instantly deemed the car totaled, and they were about to have it sent to salvage. I posted in a local FB group for help because I was certain the car should have been fixable, but in calling around I hadn't found anyone who was willing to try. Chuck Bobinger responded to me and became the savior of this situation! He walked me through everything I needed to do. They fixed and replaced just what was needed mechanically and aesthetically, for a reasonable cost that ended up less than the settlement. The car was restored beautifully, quite literally "like it never happened." (One advantage of this terribly late review is I can attest that the car has been golden ever since and makes regular road trips.)
