We chose Jessica to photograph our September wedding in Estes Park, Colorado, and couldn't be more…read moregrateful for our experience with her. Amidst planning our Colorado destination wedding from our home in Wisconsin, my husband took a job that relocated us to Seattle, 4 months before our "big day". To call it complicated is an understatement. But among our chaos we found Jessica, whose warmth emanated from the moment we met her. She was calm, confident, and capable throughout the planning process and helped us find our focus. Her communication before the wedding was just the right amount to keep us excited about our photos, but not overwhelmed. When our day arrived, Jessica was the perfect presence. She guided our guests and us in a gentle, thoughtful manner into position for pictures and captured many candids. After our ceremony, Jessica, my husband, and I drove to different sites in Rocky Mountain National Park that Jessica had selected to take portraits. She captured the most incredible memories for us. The time we spent taking pictures before the reception was my favorite part of the day, because Jessica made it feel like it was just my husband and I, savoring our first moments as a married couple. A few weeks after our wedding, we received our photos from Jessica. She is truly an artist. We are thrilled with the moments she photographed and the beautiful light she captured in each photo. The pictures turned out better than I could have imagined. We would recommend Jessica to our closest family and friends, and hope to work with her again for future milestones. Thank you for everything, Jessica!

It only took three weeks (in the height of wedding season) to send us our USB stick for the wedding. You can easily view, favorite, download, AND order prints from her website (Pixieset Host). Since Nicole started in a portrait studio, she has a great eye for portrait photography while still capturing the mood and emotions of the people and event. Further, Nicole is such an easy person to work with! From the beginning, her customer service was wonderful. She spent a good amount of extra time getting the best engagement photos of us that I have seen to date. She even went ahead of time to scout out the shoot location to get our route and timeline planned so we got the best pictures at the best locations at the best times. Our engagement photos at CU Boulder (University of Colorado Boulder) turned out spectacular. The day of the wedding, she arrived on time, ready to go, and focused. Nicole was calm and collected among the chaos of people getting dressed in a hotel, traveling from hotel to venue, and the wedding party arriving slightly late at the venue. Our wedding photos turned out with an 8/10 rating. They weren't perfect because we chose to take them at 3pm on a very sunny day. In the end, we did not get as many "spectacular" pictures due to being late and the ones with our wedding party were washed out because of the time of day. Not Nicole's fault. Our priority was to get married and this was granted by a smooth and professional photographer.

It was such a joy having them there, even though we barely noticed them during the reception. Little photo and video ninjas getting all the good shots without interfering! Even on the shoot, we was very understanding of how uncomfortable we were, and he even brought a little flask in case we needed to "loosen up" a bit. Riley provided, hands down, the most wonderful and awkward-less engagement photo experience that we could have possibly asked for.
