I only had that mower In my new shed and new box trailer with no signs of an oil leak. they said I should check the oil in my car every a time before I drive it... so it was cheaper to buy a new engine than a new mower... and yes I checked the oil every time and never changed oil level. Their plumber who has been assigned to us saved us many times from headaches, particularly with a tricky dishwasher installation. However, that experience was tainted quite badly as of late. We reached out for an estimate on replacing a toilet (customer-supplied) and replacing a toilet valve at the same time. We were quoted almost $700, close to double what we've been charged for similar work in the past. I understand that small jobs carry a high price to the business compared to more lucrative jobs, but we really thought given our past experience we would be quoted a reasonable price. In the process, it was also explained that there had been service call fees charged to us when they were never listed on our invoices for past service. This was broken out more fully for us on this quote. It's painful to me because I really thought we had found our company. Unfortunately, with these prices, we need to look for a new plumbing company now. I give them full credit for their past work, but their apparent new pricing prices us out of service.

We had water pouring through our ceiling after Jordan did the plumbing for our tub with his son. Our contract stated that he was to come back out to install the plumbing once we worked our way through the project. Once our kids took a bath in the tub, water started pouring through the ceiling and he would not take responsibility. He blamed it on the fact that there were other contractors involved, although the other contractors never touched the tub or the work that he did. He came back out and "fixed the issue" taking no responsibility and paying for not a dime of his mistake. Only for us to patch up the ceiling and it to happen a month later. The issue was a three dollar BEVELED gasket for the overflow drain that he didn't install from the start. It is heartbreaking to go through this as a family when we are saving money to do projects like this-let alone the additional stress of it all. We tried to handle with Jordan and he completely ghosted us-after calling and texting him several times over 6 months-we gave up. A truly heartbreaking situation.

This all started at the time of installation. The crew performing the installation vented the refrigerant charge from my old system into a bucket of water instead of recovering or recycling as required by the Federal Clean Air Act EPA 608. I made a video on my cellphone and was planning to file a complaint with the EPA about the willful disregard of the regulation. I discussed this with their Service Manager and was asked not to do this. I agreed with him only if this incident was discussed with hie crew at their next meeting. My experience went downhill from here. I subscribe to their Planned Service Program and have received unsatisfactory experience. Only once in 6 visits has the technicion collected sufficient data to track any refrigerant leaks. The EPA 608 reqiires tracking the refrigerants used in home units from "cradle to grave". This means that any refrigerant added, lost or recovered must be reported. The visit in 2025 collected the baseline info for the first time. The visit this year was haphazard and nothing useful was recorded. I am not a satisfied customer of Alltek Plumbing and Heating

I've been using the same plumber for 13 years, but I'll probably be switching to Peacock plumbing going forward because of how good of an experience it was. Update: I had Peacock Plumbing out for a quote on a water heater replacement. Not only did they have the best price out of all the quotes I received, they were able to replace it same day and with no issues even though the water heater was located in a very confined space behind our furnace. I literally had other companies say they would probably have to tear down a wall to get to it, and yet it wasn't a problem for Peacock Plumbing. So not only did they save me money by having the best price, they saved me money on not having to fix a wall upon completion! The service is absolutely the best service I've ever experienced from a company. Knowledgeable, personable, friendly and thorough I can't recommend this company enough. They even took the time to clean up and straighten up after the job. The area looks far better than before the work started. Absolute 10/10 service.
