My storm drain line with 6 holes have been clogged. After every storm the water flooded out the…read moredrain hole for 10-12 hours. A couple of weeks ago, i called Daniel to come for assessment and quote. He said for $1,100.00 with his commercial water jets and experiences he would confidently unclog all the holes AND do camera inspection to locate all the T sections where he suspected where clogging problem was so the next job would be installing cleanouts to facilitate the unclogging process. During this initial assessment i told him i know where the first two holes connecting to the main storm drain line but glueless where the rest of drain holes are connected to . That was why a camera inspection is needed and Daniel agreed to do it after clearing All the drain holes. The agreement was clear and understood by both of us so i did not bother to ask for written agreement (but did voice recorded). Danirk sent two guys the next day starting around 8:30am and told me by noon the entire job would finish. Two guys were working hard but by 1:00pm no progress made. The first two holes close the main drain line were still not clear! I felt for the guys and bought two big super buritoes and drinks for lunch as courtesy. Daniel them came by to help and was able to clear the clogging for the first two holes by 2-3:00pm. That was good news but the only one unfortunateky. I then encouraged Daniel that if they complete the job by unclogging the rest of drain holes and do camera inspection to locate T sections (dont have to clear it) i would pay him extra as courtesy. They did try hard still 5:00pm but were unable to unclog the rest of drainholes. Daniel did try to run the camera but gave it up around 6:30pm due to water and sud in the pipe. So Daniel told me he nees to stop today but promised to come back and run the camera per agreement and also to find out why water jetting did not work when everything is dry. But he wanted me to pay 1,100.00 now. I completely trust him andp did pay him 1,100.00 in cash. It turned out a big mistake! A week later i texted him to see if he could come back just for camera inspection , and i did not even require him to unclog the rest of holes per original agreement. He declined and said that he spent too much money for guyrs he hired , blamed that the rest of drain holes might not connect to exit drain line at all so i could not do it, and for video inspection would cost extra 300-400.00!!! I tried to remind him about original agreement and his promise that he would come back to finish camera inspection but he doubledowned his lie and trick by blaming me that i lied and tricked him instead. 3 'professional plumber' took 10 hours to unclog only two holes closest to the main drain line!!! then dishonor the agreement and blantantly played like a victim! 1,100.00 is nothing to me but i will pursue legitation against this guy as i do have surprise proof!

He came out first thing the next morning, arrived early, and took the time to thoroughly explain what happened, what our options were, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. His pricing was very reasonable, and within about 2 hours we had a brand new water heater installed and everything was back up and running. He also pointed out a few upgrades I should consider for my main water line to improve both water pressure and safety. I really appreciated that he took the time to educate me without being pushy--it showed that he genuinely cared about making sure everything in my home was working safely and properly. Tai is professional, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely nice to work with. I really appreciated how efficient and transparent he was throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him if you need a reliable plumber. One thing to note: He only accepts cash or check, so be prepared. Thanks so much, Tai!

Each time I was told the problem had been fixed, only for it to return. On the third visit, they told me I needed about $10,000 in repairs because tree roots had invaded my sewer line. Before moving forward, I decided to get a second opinion and called Lucky Rooter & Plumbing. I'm so glad I did. Loi arrived with professional diagnostic equipment and took a completely different approach. Instead of immediately recommending an expensive repair, he wanted to start with the least invasive solution and work his way up only if necessary. He ran a camera through the sewer line, found no tree roots where I had been told they existed, and continued investigating. Eventually, he discovered the real problem: a cup lodged deep in the drain line that was causing the backup. He cleared the obstruction, installed a new cleanout next to the exterior wall to make future maintenance easier, and even replaced a shutoff valve that had been leaking for years. Everything was explained clearly, and I never felt pressured into unnecessary work. What impressed me most was Loi's honesty, professionalism, and integrity. He took the time to diagnose the problem correctly instead of jumping straight to a costly repair. That saved me thousands of dollars and restored my confidence that there are still contractors who genuinely put their customers first. If you're looking for a trustworthy plumber who will diagnose the problem thoroughly before recommending expensive work, I highly recommend Lucky Rooter & Plumbing. I'll definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs.

He DID NOT try to upsell me on anything at all. I instead asked him about what it would take to do a full removal of current outdated hardware and do a more in depth repair. He gave me the estimate on that as well and it we agreed to it. He said they'd come as soon as possible to do that repair hopefully by the next day but if not, 2 days later. It was not a crucial repair so that was OK but there was water dripping to the rate of at least a bucket or more per day so I asked if possible please expedite. They did expedite and came back the next day. 5 stars for Angel who came the next day and did a smash up job. probably took around 5 hours that day. Angel was a gentleman and scholar. He let us peek in at his work all day long with grace and answers for everything we asked and plenty of pictures of work to boot. Angel identified some old piping that was never removed when a previous business installed copper piping. the old piping metal pipe (like galvanized steel) directly touches a new copper pipe in the presence of moisture, galvanic corrosion (electrolysis) occurs. This chemical reaction will corrode the less noble metal (the old iron/steel) and cause the new copper pipe to form pinhole leaks within a few years. He suggested we set up a complimentary review of how much of the old galvanized was left by a crawl under the house. This was performed today and they found the old galvanized leftovers in addition to some leaking galvanized under the tub. Francisco just came out today and looked at the old stuff under the house and gave us some excellent advice on next moves! more reviews to come! Thank you Plumbtree!

They pushed…read moretheir membership program and since I'm the landlord to a building and we need service option it sounded like a good partnership. Since we joined the membership they vastly inflated pricing. They stopped honoring the member discount. A 3/4 HP disposal was quoted at $730 when equivalent costs $250. They quoted $462 for sink draining. I asked about the member benefit of a included "Annual sink and drain cleaning to support consistent everyday flow" (quoted from their website) and at first they denied that this was a benefit in the program, when I pointed out it was on their website they said this was something completely different. Overall I feel like the membership and their pricing is a big bait and switch. Their workmanship is great for the limited amount we used them for, but the business practices put them in "do not recommend".
