Drain Flow was brought to my attention after my plumber, Wayne from South End Plumbing, also absolutely amazing, called in Tony for assistance on a particularly troublesome drain issue in my building (which is about 150 years old). Tony was professional, very nice, and very very capable. He initially came with Wayne on an early Sunday morning, with no trouble (and the day of the Pats AFC championship game, which will never be discussed). Both he and Wayne worked together to troubleshoot the problem, which was massive. With no trouble Tony and Wayne arrived the next day, woke tirelessly at the problem, and fixed it. They quickly reset the gas valve and problem solved. They charged $150 since no parts involved, $250 if any parts need to be fixed. Excellent service, I called about my busted water heater and within 2.5 hours I had a brand new water heater and a fixed garbage disposal. Second time that I called them...and they still deserve 5 stars...even SIX! The first time was because the bathroom sink was clogged. Not only did they fix it in couple of minutes, but they told me how to fix it in the future! Today I called them again, and they showed up in 30mins.This time the Toilet was clogged. Response was very timely and set an appointment for the next day. Tony provided multiple text updates on progress and timing for arrival. His co-worker, Ralph, was the technician who performed the work. He was efficient, friendly and quite knowledgeable. The line was cleared in 15 minutes. Called latish in the evening, got voicemail and hung up because we had an emergency. Before I could even put the phone down, Tony called me back. They were about to start another job, but when i told him we really needed emergency service, he said he'd come by after they finished the job they were on. Tony has helped me out 3 times since moving to Boston 1.5 years ago. The first time, he didn't feel like he was the right person for the job and recommended me someone who had the expertise (some masonry work involved). His recommendation was great and couldn't be happier. The 2nd time, Tony came out to replace our water tank on an emergency basis. He came out the same day even though we had a VERY hard to find water tank because if it's odd sizing. He worked super hard that day and was able to get us up and running with hot water in a few hours. The third time, he came out next day (even though it was non-emergency) and replaced a toilet shut off valve, replaced the flushing mechanism and fixed our disposal. Tony and Abe are incredibly responsive, professional, and compassionate. I appreciate how convenient it is that you can simply text them and get an immediate response. He has officially become my go-to plumber for my condo! A few weeks ago, I made an emergency call to them at around 7 pm for a leak in my ceiling: water was pouring through my ceiling speakers and had left visible water marks all over the ceiling. Tony suggested that he come after the water has stopped coming down so that he could do a better analysis, and so that he could save me money from just having him come and sit there while waiting for the water to stop. I appreciated that he had my costs in mind. When the water stopped coming down, Tony had Abe come, who came within less than an hour, and discovered the problem was my upstairs neighbor's toilet flooding and his bathroom not being caulked properly, something that we would have never thought of and our building inspectors had missed. I could tell Abe wished he could do even more; he wanted to make sure I was getting the best quality consultation and service and gave me a discount off the emergency call. I was very content with this service, so called them again this past Wednesday when my tenants reported severely slow drainage issues in the kitchen sink, dishwasher, and 1st floor toilet.
