Two sinks in master bath were draining slowly. And if faucet ran water long enough in one sink, water began to back up into other sink. BJ of Drain Doctor expertly and fairly quickly cleared the line/pipe. I also had him look at drain pipes in our basement where we've had a frustrating problem of an overflowing vent pipe. He made a couple of astute observations and suggested a remedy that a plumber or two had not. Cost was very reasonable for the service. read more

I had a nasty clog down the line that I had been struggling with for 2 days. All of my attempts to clear it were futile. I remembered seeing the Drain Doctor truck in my neighborhood one day. I quickly looked up some reviews and then gave them a call. There are no telephone prompt mazes to navigate, no elevator music, just a polite lady answering the phone. Dustin came out and cleared the clog with relative ease. Very nice and professional. He insisted that he clean up everything, even the mess I left, even though I told him he didn't have to. And the biggest surprise, no upselling! Though $130 was my price...your price may be higher or lower. Make sure you got check or cash on hand. No credit cards accepted. Forget the overpriced Happy Faced people, the Drain Doctor is the only Doctor your drains need. Great service. great people. read more

Had an excellent experience with them. They were able to get to our house very quickly and were communicative the whole time. BJ was our tech and he did an awesome job. I also found the pricing very reasonable. They were actually the second plumbers we had at our house to fix a problem. The first plumbers from a different company did identify a problem, but was not able to resolve it fully and the blockage happened again within 24 hours. Drain Doctors is definitely a company I willuse any time for any type of drain repair issue. read more

Our son flushed some toys down the toilet. I tried getting them out on my own, but to no avail. Drain Doctor came and cleared them out in no time. Would recommend/use again. read more

Drain Doctor came over to address a clogged sink. After they poured Dish Soap in my toilet, they tried to open my sink pee-trap and cracked a PVC valve, left and called me afterward to let me know he cracked an "old cast iron pipe" and they would not fix it and "weren't responsible". Called the main office to let them know they broke the valve and just left. The owner, Mrs Shirley reiterated they were "not responsible" for "Old-Ass Plumbing" and that 100 year old houses with outdated pipes were gonna break and I should have known that. The employee NEVER told me that was the case. Lee company came/addressed it. Found out it was a PVC pipe/valve they cracked! Took pictures for me to prove that it was not old pipes and DD had cracked a newer one. Lee fixed in within a few hours. Just got off the phone with Mrs' Shirley and said they would not pay for anything they broke and I can take them to court if I want. If this is how you like customer service, be my guest. read more

Dustin from Drain Doctor did a great job. I had called ARS for a routine repair. They came out twice and couldn't fix it then gave me an estimate 3 times as high and then suggested replacing the whole main drain for $7000-9000 dollars to save me the $650 dollars on a temporary fix they could not guarantee. I knew that the pipe was fine and decided to go somewhere else. Dustin came out and fixed the problem for $140 dollars!! He was on time, professional, helpful, and super nice. He said my pipe was fine and it did not need to be replaced and guaranteed his work. Drain Doctors are a good and honest company with qualified professionals who won't try to up sale you some thing you don't need. read more

I have used this company numerous times at different properties. Recently i received VERY POOR service. the owner/supervisor is VERY RUDE, she has no communication skills nor any customer service skills. i called the emergency on call line, and did not receive any service. This company states that they are a 24hour plumbing service, but failed to mention if one of their workers has been working "ALL DAY" he had a right to refuse to come out on AN EMERGENCY CALL. This company sucks and so does the Owner/supervisor. I would not recommend this company to unclog anything not even a toilet. I give this company a one star rating. read more

My kitchen sink drain was hopelessly clogged. I called Drain Doctor and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Someone was to come between 10am-Noon. Wayne called me at 10am to say he was on his way. He worked from 10:15am to 11am, fixed the drain and replaced the P-trap all for a very reasonable price! He was fast, friendly and cleaned up after! read more

Second time my son stayed over at my house, second time he stopped up something.. This time with gauze. Called Drain Doctor at 7:30am this morning and by 9am, I had someone at my house, unclogging my toilet. He also fixed the flapper in the toilet tank AND cleaned out calcium buildup from it being such an old toilet. It works better now than it did when I moved in. I tell you, when you have kids that don't understand old pipes, it's nice to have Drain Doctor and their prices are reasonable. They even have an emergency number, should you have a problem on weekends and holidays. read more

So it's not like you WANT your drain cleaned. you HAVE to . These guys came the same day I called them. They don't try to sell you anything. They just clean your drain. Clean up is great. Need I say more? read more

After calling our warranty service, and having 2 of their plumbers fail, I called Drain Doctor. He cleaned the drain in 10 minutes. However, problem reoccurred next day. I called them back. They promptly sent the tech back out. He approached the problem from another location and fixed it. No additional charges. I felt like I had gotten 2 services for 1 price. Very professional and courteous. I hope not to need help again but if I do I'll call this company. read more

I manage the maintenance for 170 rental units in Nashville. We used this company to unclog a drain. On the first attempt, they failed to clear the drain. They came back a second time, but this time, the employee broke through the pipe. He was flowing water through while snaking, causing the broken drain to leak through the ceiling. Once he realized his mistake, he packed up and left, appearing to be in a rush. The tenants upstairs and downstairs all said he appeared to be excessively rough on the pipe. Here is the catch, they still charged us even after still failing to clear the drain on the second attempt, leaving us with a broken pipe, clogged drain, and ceiling damage. They denied everything that the employee said to the tenants, refused to repair any damage, and refused to refund the money for failure to complete the job we were being charged for. I ended up personally fixing the pipe, clearing the drain, and fixing the ceiling damage. If you need a drain cleared, I would recommend reading all of the negative comments. There is a very clear trend (unprofessional, didn't finish the job but still charged, won't guarantee work). Proceed with caution! My recommendation is to find another company. read more

These guys were awesome. My regular plumber was out of town and I had a bad leak I needed diagnosed In a hurry. Drain Doctor delivered! They came within 2 hours for a non-emergency during weekday business hours and somebody came 2 hours later for a clogged bathroom sink that I had tried to clear with Drano, a plunger, and a snake. He got it cleared very quickly and neatly with a forced-air device. Now I see a little whirlpool again when the sink drains for the first time in years! The price was reasonable and I will definitely call them again when the need arises. read more

I have lived with a major problem in my upstairs kitchen sink for over 5 years. My handy father spent 3 days trying to fix it but it seemed there was a clog in the main drain and it was going to cos t into the thousands. My regular plumbing company was going to charge me over $200 just to look at it and that was with a $50 off coupon. Heard about DD from a retired plumber neighbor and gave them a call. They were here in less than an hour and fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes and only cost $105! I was so happy and couldn't believe that was all it took to solve this "major issue" I'd been living with for so long. I am a single woman and have been taken advantage of a few times at least because of my lack of understanding. This is a company I trust because my retired plumber friend told me they are good and honest and the best price. That was certainly my experience. I will call them first every time. read more
