This company came out to replace a pipe running to our home from to the street due to a water leak…read more The pipe was replaced and the soil that we paid extra for to backfill was spread out over a large portion of our intact lawn killing the grass we had there, and was not put in a large pit (2'x3') that they dug where the pipe met the house. They replaced all the decorative rocks that had been there, on top of the pit as if we wouldn't notice. I have called two times now to complain, once right after the work was completed, and once about three months later and was told very nicely that they hadn't forgotten about us and would come out to fix it. That was another two months ago. Another two faced company that takes your money and doesn't follow through.

East Coast Trenchless were the only ones who reached out. I put in the request on late Saturday and they called Sunday morning. I missed the call. I called back and spoke with Shelby. We scheduled for Mike to come out Monday morning. They offered free camera scope of the drain and a military discount. The camera didn't show any clogs but identified a problem with the pipes. The house was once on a sandmound but went to city sewer and the installers went from plastic to cast iron back to plastic. The change from plastic to cast iron created a place for stool to catch and cause a blockage at least temporarily. Mike recommended an extra flush or two to reduce the solid build up. Did they fix the problem? No as there free camera scope showed no problem. Would I use them again? You bet!!. Shelby, the voice on the phone was pleasant and she explained the offers, the process, and answered every question I had. Mike, the technician, was friendly, professional and showed me the video he took of my drain while explaining what I'm looking at. Other than the extra flushing, he recommended (but didn't pressure) I redo my inside drain piping since there are many changes due to DIY projects and not many straight pipe runs. He's working on the estimate. So if you have a drain issue (mine was stool blockage...based on history) give these guys a call.
