It was not there fault it rained and unfortunately they can not deliver the first when it is raining or they would be delivering mud. There customer service was great and the person who took the order was very friendly and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Sestili Nursery for all your sod and topsoil needs. The also had a great selection of plants and scrubs. I will definitely keep there phone # in my contacts for all future nursery needs.

They said they had them and they were really nice. They weren't kidding. They had a beautiful selection of water lilies, lettuce and hyacinths and I really stocked up for my Koi pond. There was also a huge selection of flowers, plants, ornamental trees, veggies and herbs, pretty much anything you could be looking for garden-related. The customer service was fantastic as I was asked several times if there was anything specific I was looking for and if they could help me. It was nice to see several people on the floor working and anxious to be helpful to customers. I also found the prices to be really fair here. The water hyacinths were a couple of dollars less than the sad looking ones at the other place, and the couple of plants I got were priced at below what I would have paid at a big box store. I would always rather support a local business. I also remember from when I was younger that they do nice special events here such as Santa photos during the holidays. It's a very nice shop and if you have any questions about whether they have what you need, call before you go as they seem more than happy to be helpful!

My house serves some unique constraints about maintaining the yard as it is on two different…read morelevels. After suffering through edging and mulching last year I decided to reach out to A&N Lawn Service as they are only about a half mile from my house to have them quote me on the work for this year. About two months ago the owner came out, walked the yard with me, and gave me a quote - which came in right around where I was expecting. He mentioned they had about a 4 week lead time which was fine with me. 2 months later, the work still hadn't been completed but considering the amount of rain we had in June I assumed they were behind schedule across the board. As soon as I considered giving them a call they were at my house and underway. Between 3 or so workers, they edged, cleared out the mulch beds, sprayed for weeds, and mulched. Took them about 6 hours total and I couldn't believe the amount of effort they put in. They went above and beyond what I would have even done for my yard and I'm pretty OCD when it comes to yardwork. For the price I'm paying and the work they did, I am 100% satisfied. Communication could have been a little bit better, but that's about it.

Paul took the time to meet with us both, to show us several of the houses he has landscaped; to give us ideas. We weren't sure even where to start, we just told Paul that we wanted a variety of plants and colors. He brought his crew in and within 3 days they had all the old plants out and beautiful new plants in place. There were trees of all colors, as well as evergreens of all shapes and sizes. There is an amazing stone walkway from our garage to the back yard, with different types of plants flanking both sides. Well placed boulders along the stairs help set off the small plants and ornamental grasses on the hillside. We were unsure of having lights placed among the plants but decided to go ahead with them. Wow what a difference they make, so glad we did. We are amazed and in awe of the finished oasis of lights and plants we have in our backyard and around the pool. We can't give enough praise to Paul and McMurray Nursery for a job well done; product, price, and his crew all included.

Buy 5 yards of mulch and/or mushroom manure and they deliver for free. They do not seem to sell "Bonnie", which in my opinion is great since Bonnie is everywhere and some of their practices are controversial. Their mulch is premium mulch, though it does seem to have its share of duckgrass. One year we used it, and we got sorghum growing in the yard. We bought a number of roses from them. Many of the "drift" brand varieties have done well. Some of the Ingrid Bergman roses got Rose rosette disease. It's not clear if they came from here or from another location, though, so I am not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure I got it from here, but maybe not  It's a horrible disease. This year, we got some swiss chard to transplant and it was infested with leafborers, which also infected my beets. Now that I know what it looks like I'll actively avoid it. I have heard it can happen when the seasons are cold/wet spring and then hot early, which we had this year. In the end it is a business and they are in business because they sell you things. You really shouldn't transplant squash, melon, cucumber, but they do sell them for transplanting. It's better to stick to seeds with these and sow starting end of May to July. The place is cleared out of vegetables (and other annuals) by mid June. They could have a second round but I guess they want to keep that simple. Perhaps the number of customers doesn't allow it.
