Chris is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I appreciate the opportunity to meet with him onsite to review the inspection findings. The inspection was completed on time, reasonably priced, and very thorough. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

Don't come to them unless you're buying a newer home. Unfortunately, for my husband and I, they were recommended by our realtor when we purchased our first home in April. Wyatt and a trainee did our inspection (pretty quickly I might add) and when we came by to go over the inspection we had two main concerns, the water heater that was 10+ years old and what kind of sewer pipes our home had. Wyatt told us the water heater wasn't a problem. It was something that just "breaks when it breaks" and as for the pipes, he said they were PVC not cast iron. We managed to get the old home owners to replace the water heater because when this item breaks it's over $1000 to replace. As for the pipes, they ended up being cast iron and had to be replaced within two weeks of moving into the home. Cast iron pipes were a huge red flag for us when buying a home so the fact that he guessed and didn't even look at our pipe clean outs which were located in visible areas in the front and back of the home is ridiculous. When we reached out to Chris (the owner) he apologized for Wyatt's (the owner's SON) mistake, but didn't offer to help in anyway. Not even for a refund of the inspection that was supposed to "save us thousands". All he did was send an email wiping their hands clean of the whole situation. Saying that they only look at things that are "visible". Well the pipe clean outs in the front and backyard were pretty visible. Truly disappointing. read more

The whole crew at Dragonfly is awesome. Very responsive and on the ball. I loved being able to schedule our inspection online and when we had to reschedule due to a delay with our builder, the folks at Dragonfly were very accommodating of our requests. Tremaine, our inspector, showed up on time and was very thorough. Plus their reports are super easy to understand with items of concern clearly stated in terms we could understand. I highly recommend this wonderful company. read more

I was recommend by a friend to call Mr.Noor for a home inspection as I was mid contract and short on time. Noor was able to squeeze me in for the next day and conducted a thorough inspection in a couple of hours. He called me right after the inspection and gave me detailed run down and the part that I really appreciated was that Mr Noor made me feel as if he were talking to a friend rather than a customer. As a first time home buyer, he definitely made me feel comfortable. As for the inspection itself, he gave me a very thorough report via pdf and via the website. The website is very nicely done and explains all the defects. Would def recommend. read more

We purchased our new home in October and moved in in November in Watauga, TX. The inspection report said our condenser unit (outdoor HVAC unit) was manufactured in 2023 when it was actually manufactured in 2011 and that there were no apparent issues. From the time we moved in, it didn't work correctly. We noticed that the air would blow out colder than normal from the vents when the heat was on. We knew for certain there was an issue the first time we used the AC. It blew no cold air and did not cool the house at all. We had 3 different HVAC repair companies assess the units, and they all said there were very apparent issues with them (coil significantly and visibly clogged, auxiliary heat mode on, multiple obvious repairs, etc.). Pretty disappointing that we didn't even get to use our air conditioner one time without it failing and that our heater was running on emergency heat mode from the time we moved in. We just had to pay $8,000 to replace the units after all of the expenses of moving and purchasing a new home. This is an expense that we hoped to avoid, which is why we had professional home inspector look at the units. Dragonfly said there is nothing they can do to help us. So I guess that means that we are out about $9000 combined with the faulty units and their inspection fees they did us no good. My advice would be to contact professionals to inspect each unit of the house because Dragonfly told me my HVAC units were fine and that the one that failed was over a decade newer than it actually was, which put my mind at ease... it was definitely a false sense of security brought about by the incompetence of Dragonfly inspectors. Very disappointing and currently getting the process started for small claims court. read more

Gene did a thorough inspection on the house we're interested in. He gave us great tips on what he's looking for and what we need to keep track of to maintain the house. The report they made gave a good breakdown on the items we needed to pay attention to or to have fixed. Overall, very satisfied with Dragonfly Home Inspectors. Worth it for the peace of mind that the house we'll buy is going to be good. read more

We hired Dragonfly Home Inspections to inspect the phase two process of our new construction build earlier this year. Despite multiple delays due to our builder's requests, Chris and Gene were extremely flexible and accommodating. Gene did an excellent job of inspecting our home, explaining the report to us, and answering any of our questions before we left the job site. The report he has generated is easy to understand, very professional, and easily accessible via their website. Thanks again guys! We really appreciate it! read more

I called for an appointment and was told someone can come out two days later, I was impressed. No one confirmed the appointment or showed up. I made another appointment online after not hearing anything for a week. I thought the day and time slot was confirmed. I was told later that day the time-slot wasn't available anymore and they could not come out before my closing. Very disappointing! read more
