I asked if they were the wick burning or gel to make sure I got the correct product, and the employee said sorry all we have are gel. Upon closer inspection of the sterno boxes they said "wick chafing fuel" so I mentioned it. The employee then said they were not gel. All their flat-cap sternos are rusted, apparently because one burst open on the rest according to the employee. Not very reassuring... I asked if I could uncap one to see if the wick was correct and neither the employee or I could get the cap undone. I asked if he had any tools we could use. He went to the back said all the guys were out with tools and then left me in the aisle and headed back up front. Not the greatest customer service or knowledge on their part...

They'll do just about anything to accommodate their regulars, no matter how crazy (trust me, they've done some really off the wall special orders for me over the years!), and their prices are generally pretty good. Their selection isn't Jay Asia (my lord and saviour since they opened in the 80's!), but they are also serving a different clientele. Good guys, highly recommended.

This place usually carries regular half and half, where the other stores have a "fancier" brand. If they had rotisserie chicken, not sure I would ever go to the other "regular" Costco!

Here at the Business Center, I have never seen a line. I am able to get in and out with a full tank on gas in nothing flat. Gotta love, that. Shopping this store is similar to shopping Restaurant Depot. Many of the food items and pantry supplies are packaged in larger quantities than the regular Costco. Some are too large for me to even freeze with my Food Saver. However, I do like shopping the protein bars here. The selection and variety is much larger than the regular Costco. Another area I love shopping is, their pots and pans. I use to add new pieces to my collection when I shopped Marshall's or Home Goods. Now that I have discovered the selection here, I've added several pieces. Some are packaged individually and others are sets of two. When it's a set of two, I gift the second to a friend. As with all Costco Centers I have shopped, the staff is professional and friendly. Costco treats their employees right and when a business does that, it shows in the employee's performance. I have been looking for a bread company for a while. I work in what is considered a "rural" area,…read moreso the only company I could find to deliver bread to us was Bimbo Bakery. It's not a company I am happy with, but I was stuck. I was so happy to see a Fazio's truck pass the store! I ran in and called and they deliver in my area! I originally only bought bread/buns for the sandwiches we make and kept Bimbo for the commercially sold bread and hot dog buns, but Bimbo flaked out again. I now order everything from Fazio's and I can't keep bread on my shelf! We blow right through the commercial bread I sell and I end up putting the sandwich bread out so the shelf isn't empty. The sourdough bread is one of the best I have ever had. The pumpernickel/rye swirl is phenomenal. The cranberry raisin bread works so well with chicken salad, and it's also great toasted and buttered. We have also started carrying and selling the toasted ravioli. Those are also great. We don't have a fryer, so we buy the ones made for the oven. The texture is a bit different than the fried ones, but it's not a bad difference. It's just an observation, not a complaint. The oven ones have a little bit more chewyness than the deep fried ones, so if you do order the oven ones you're prepared. The pricing on them is low, I can sell them for far cheaper than other places and still be making a profit. Everyone I have dealt with at the company has been very helpful, and they have just laughed at my bonehead mistakes I've made. You know, the typical ones you make when switching vendors. All I know is I'm very happy I looked up and saw their truck going past. The only thing I'd change is a twice a week delivery instead of the once a week I have now, but I also understand that being rural and not having huge orders (typically I spend $75-100 weekly) doesn't make it feasible to come more often.

BIGGEST SCAM…read more EVER. So, say you (or your grandma/grandpa) are at the doc's office, and the doc suggests that for a disorder called dysphagia, you should pick up something called 'THICK-IT'. OK fine, so you go to the local pharmacy... pick up the jar of "Thick It", and fork over $6 for 8 ounces. At home, you're wondering. Hmmm.. what is in this stuff? Why so special? IT'S CORN STARCH. Last time I checked, Safeway sells Corn Starch for about $1 for 8 ounces. If you buy it in bulk at a restaurant supply, it's likely MUCH cheaper. These are the people behind those gross "Land O Lakes" powdered cocoa drinks (reminds me of my college trips to Costco) AND "Sugar Twin", the saccharine sweetner that still exists on the market, which boggles my mind (Hurray for Splenda!) Ick ick ick, all around.
