I decided to make one more call to Roberts Mechanical and Electrical Inc. Didn't know anything about them. A very kind women answered the phone and when I made my inquiry, she promptly connected me with Tom. Tom was concerned about my predicament and informed me that he was in his Santa Rosa office and offered to quickly call and see if his supplier could get one to me by the next day. He called back right away to inform me that he could get one to me the very next day, quoted a price and said that since he had to temporarily pull his crew out of Ukiah (due to the storm) to help in Sonoma County, I would have to drive to Cloverdale to pick it up at the technician's residence and would this be O.K? We agreed. He took down my name and address and said that he would send me an invoice. I am very, very happy. His technician called as promised, we picked up the part, and the house is warm. Wow! He didn't know who I was, but didn't even ask for money upfront. He went out of his way to rapidly take care of me. Frankly, this is truly 5 star service. I highly recommend this company.

In January 2022, Reliance Enterprises HVAC tech responded to the problem and replaced the mother board for over $800, but the problem continued intermittently until I was without heat most of the time between October and January '23. Lee at Reliance would not respond to my frequent calls about the on-going problem despite the costly "fix." The one time he finally did call me back, he said, "I just don't think I want to come back to work on your oddball system." My system was six years old--a Bryant, standard in the industry, and anything but oddball. My electrician Trino Hernandez saw my post of woe on Fb and called me the next day. On that late afternoon after they had all worked a full day, Trino showed up with his team member Eric, and Manuel (Manny) Lopez of Next Generation Heating and Cooling. Manny identified the problem within minutes: a malfunctioning inducer motor. He called to order a new one in Santa Rosa, drove down early the next morning to pick it up, and installed it for me in less than a half hour. All my gratitude to Next Generation Heating and Cooling and to Hernandez Electric , and a warning to anyone considering a call to Reliance Enterprises.

Bought a new remote thinking the old one had worn out. Fast forward Terry called back - in 10 minutes! Remarkable. I explained the symptoms.
