It is rated as the best Chinese Food restaurant in British Columbia, and I would have to agree! It also has AMAZING gluten free options!! I haven't had salt and pepper prawns or squid in YEARS and they made it perfectly crispy with just the right amount of salt and pepper. They just have to get separate pans and a separate deep fryer for their gluten free menu and this place will be a celiac "sent from heaven" place!! Please Dragon Lotus Restaurant - take those extra little steps and get the Celiac Scene to verify you and you will have every celiac in Canada flocking to your restaurant!! See you soon! read more

This place is incredible! I loved all the food we chose! It's Chinese but with a Vietnamese influence. We got half portions and shared them between us. We live in the next town over and never seem to be passing Dragon Lotus Restaurant when they were open. We had heard wonderful things about the food. We did take out once but of course it wasn't hot enough by the time we drove 20 minutes to home. Last night we went at opening time. The food was excellent; hot plentiful and not the run of the mill Chinese food. The service was also excellent. The owner? came to our table and introduced himself and gave a bit of history. Not impressed. The quality is lacking here for the price. Chicken fried rice horrible, was like day old rice was used, tossed with a few frozen vegetables and barely heated. It tasted like steamed rice with a few vegetables and chicken pieces tossed together. Dry and bland. Barely any sauce on the sweet and sour pork, some of them didn't have any sauce on them. A friend and I were in Peachland,  my friend had previously been to Dragon Lotus and was hinting for me to try to this place therefore we stopped in this place for dinner We sat down on the patio and the owner Sanh came to our table to greet us and to also recommend some dishes to us, which is nice to experience great customer service I usually don't like eating chinese food due to the grease however the food at this place was so YUMMY and non greasy. The ginger garlic beef was seriously out of this world. The flavours in the sauce were amazing and it had a great texture. The shrimp fried rice was also really tasty - there was a lot of shrimp In addition they have a ice cream bar for those dessert lovers. Food is decent, But not the best, portions are smaller than any other Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, and they are a little pricier too. Last year went in person, food was great. After wanting to go back for months, we finally ordered Monday for pick up Wednesday. Not impressed with the 5% COVID increase to start off with. The food portions seemed to be smaller, the chicken was lacking. The onions were huge pieces, and mini corns in abundance, if you like them. I counted a total of 6 cashews in the Chicken Cashew Gai Ding and very few pieces of chicken. Fried rice was bland. So sad since we had a great meal and this one was sorely lacking. We've ordered from here several times and do try to support local businesses however while the food has been good in the past, the service is poor & far too slow. Our last order we called in at 6pm, were told it would be ready at 7:20 (which is already a long delay), arrived at the restaurant at 7:20 to pick it up and weren't even acknowledged for 15 minutes. When someone finally acknowledged me, I was told the order would be ready 'soon'. My food didn't show up until 7:50. The quality definitely wasn't as good as it has been in the past. While I was waiting I noticed the female owner didn't help the one waitress on the floor although people who were dining in were asking multiple times for service. I watched one table of people walk out before getting served. I think they could have a great business (because the food has been good in the past), but it appears to be managed poorly & they don't seem to be able to keep staff for very long. If that applies to their chef as well, that could seal their fate. read more

When this restaurant first opened it was great. Food was excellent as was the service. We recommended it to everyone. The last 4 times we tried it we were very disappointed. We kept hoping it would get back to how it was but now we have decided to just forget it. Lately the food was very unforgettable. We had cold food 3 times in a row. The boneless pork, last time we got takeout, was cold, had very little sauce on it and was tasteless. Tasted like it was leftovers from the day before. The special chow mien was not special at all. What happened to the great food we had when they opened? Is it a new chef or does the chef just not care anymore. We live in Peachland and have for 20 years. We were so happy to get a good Chinese food place but now are very disappointed. How many times do you think a person is going to retry your place hoping to get a good meal? I heard that you were moving to a new location on the Hwy between Peachland and Summerland. If that is true, you better up your game or you will just be another failed business. read more

This is the best Chinese I have had in the Kelowna area in years. The dishes came out hot and fresh. The portions were huge. Those with vegetables were loaded with vegetables and not the standard onion and Bok Choy but broccoli and cauliflower and pea pods. We live in Penticton, BC, and options for good Chinese food are limited. On June 14, 2019 we drove the one hour return trip to the Dragon Lotus Restaurant in Peachland, BC for Chinese Food. As a repeat customer, we found the quality of the food inconsistent, and their deep fried dishes were almost always very well done, not fresh and appeared to be double deep fried, and extremely greasy. Consequently when always ordering our food for pickup, we request the deep fried dishes be fresh, and not warmed-up by deep frying the food a second time. Upon arriving back in Penticton, and opening up the containers, we once again saw that the deep fried dishes were again very well done, greasy and not edible. I phoned Dragon Lotus, explained the problem to the manager, and that we were regular repeat customers from Penticton, and requested a refund for the deep fried dishes. He said quote "if your not happy with the food, not to come back, and to order your Chinese food in Penticton next time" and hung up on me.This was unequivocally the worst case of customer service I have ever encountered, and I am 64 years old. This restaurant is always busy, and its quite obvious they do not value their repeat customers nor need the business. As the saying goes, once bitten, twice shy. We wont be back! read more

Without a doubt, the best restaurant in all of Peachland. Excellent quality, custom orders, delicious food. From May-September, get it to go, and just cross Beach Avenue to the park on the shore of the lake with a remarkable view. Great service, and I strongly recommend the ginger beef, chicken balls, beef black bean sauce, and fried rice (you choose the ingredients.) Wish they were open longer hours, and be early or late because at the peak rush (5-7pm) it's a wait. Totally worth it. read more
