The Dragon House, in Mildenhall, offers a clean and bright dining room as well as take away service. The staff were friendly and the food was served quite quickly. The fried mushrooms were excellent! Chicken mixed vegetables and sesame chicken were also delicious and well prepared. Mini spring rolls were very mini but with great flavor! With four people, we were able to share several dishes and a couple sides of fried rice for just under £50. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for an easy, quick lunch! read more

Whenever I'm too lazy to cook we always end up ordering Chinese. We either choose to go here or China House. The food is pretty decent, we always order the special fried rice and one of their sides, either chicken or beef and broccoli. read more

The restaurant was clean and presentable, but that's about where my pleasantry ended. The server I got didn't speak English at all, and was very abrupt and rude. The food came relatively quickly, but it was all bland and flavorless. One novelty was the on-table food warmers - tea lights placed below a metal plate on which the food was placed to keep it warm. PROS: Super friendly service. Joe (the head waiter) is hilarious and accommodating. I am very particular about my food and Dragon House would regularly make things special just for me! David (I believe the owner) is a quieter guy than Joe but still super nice and always smiling! CONS: NONE! P.S. A fully licenced restaurant/take-away, this friendly establishment has the best chinese food I've had in this country ever. Sadly it's kinda ruined the local chinese take-away for me now that's good but nothing compared to this place. They have a huge menu to chooose from, including some english dishes for those not wanting chinese food. The menu is helpfully divided into subsections so you can find what you want easily. The prices are good and the portions are more than generous. If calling be prepared to call back a few times as it gets VERY busy on weekends, but of course it gets busy, with food this good it would be a crime for it not to be packed. The staff are really nice and friendly, and you get your order pretty fast even at peak times. If you fancy chinese and are in the area this is the place to go. read more

This is a charming little curry house, very popular with serving personell in the nearby bases, and offers both seating and takeaway choices. The seating/restaurant area is small and traditionally Chinese styled, but comfortable. My favourite seat is right at the window, watching the world go by. Dishes take a short while to cook (it probably seemed longer because I was hungry!) and are brought with polite friendly service. The menu is quite extensive, plenty of choice for all. Portions are average sized - but then again, I like my portions on the large size being a hungry-hannah, so I tend to see most sizes as 'average'! I wouldn't call it a cheap option, although not wildly expensive. It's good quality and variety which is it's main selling point. read more

We were visiting from out of town (brother is stationed at RAF Mildenhall) his buddies suggested this place, we went for dinner friday night about 7pm, weekend before Christmas. This place was packed. it was the place to be. lots of people coming in and out picking up to go. We decided to dine in, wait was about 30 minutes. casual dress, the actual sit down area is VERY tight and small, Especially if you use to American style restaurants. it will take a few minutes to acclimate, if its a full house, lots of conversations running around. Food was AMAZING!! WE ORDERED THE SABI CURRY, FOO YOUNG, CHOP SUEY, vermicelli chow mien, egg rolls, wontons, 2 rounds of beer, and 1 round of sake. Everything tasted great. Servers were visiting frequently, ambience was nice. it was a nice Friday night out. Portions were more than perfect, we are 3 adults, and we family shared everything and were STUFFED! Our bill was about 60 quid, well worth it! We definitely recommend this place to people in the future, especially if you are visiting from out of town, and in search of some genuine good food. Pretty decent Chinese food. We ordered the beef and broccoli, combo fried rice, egg drop soup and duck with peppers in black bean sauce. I didn't like the duck though... but everything else was really good. It's nice to be able to just go get takeaway from here when you're just not in the mood to cook and craving Chinese. read more

We ate dinner here tonight, and were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing! The only drawbacks we could complain about was the location, price, and limited beer selection. It's located at a busy intersection, which makes finding close parking difficult. But have no fear, parking and walking makes the food even better. They only have two beers on tap, along with several bottles beers. As for the price, it was a bit steep for the amount of food you receive. I would eat here again, but will try a few others in the area first. read more

I decided to write a review once I saw some of the negative comments posted. I have enjoyed every visit to Dragon House in Mildenhall. My friends and family have ordered off the menu 30 times if not more! The chicken curry is the best dish in my opinion because the sauce is nicely seasoned and just the right consistency. The sweet and sour chicken is great bc the sauce comes on the side and you choose how little or how much sauce you want. The sauce is quite nice as well because it's nice blend between sweet and sour. At some places the sauce is so sweet it feels as if it's going to rot your teeth but not here. The prawn crackers are light and crispy. The cocktails are mixed great. I never have any complaints! The wait at times can be nuts but that's all. The service has always been excellent. I come to Dragon House whenever I visit friends in Mildenhall! read more

This is a nice restaurant with a well decorated dining room. The food was good but could be better. You must order each item separately. For example the main course and then rice and whatever else you desire. The wait staff was friendly and welcoming. Price was not bad for the area. I would like to eat at some of the other Chinese spots around the area to give it a true and strong rating. I gave it a 4 star because I would return and be satisfied with the decision. read more
