Such a beautiful little park! It's the perfect medium between a trail and a park. Nice off leash dog area and not crowded.

Lots of space this Friday late morning

A friend mentioned this spot as a good park without crowds. On a Friday, there were some families gathered on the grass, and there was lots of room. There are lots of sunny spots but also some shade, though on this given day, the shady spots were also a bit damp. A big portion of this park is a large wooded area for a hiking feel. I only drove around it, but it seemed quite large, a place to get away from it all. Docking a star because parking was rough. With all the one way streets and permitted spots, I looped around a few times before finding what I think was a legal spot.

A nice spread of park! It has a short walk through redwood trees that was peaceful and if you start at the top there, you can walk down the path to the main park where there is a big open grassy field and a playground. Lots of benches but I wish there were a few more tables to have lunch on. It's a nice area none the less!

What a beautiful unknown park. Parking is deliberately difficult to try to prioritize residents but the long walk is worth it. Lots of unattended kids who don't take turns though so it's a good life lesson place. The park itself is magical! Climbing wall, cement slide, play structure and a huge open grassy area surrounded by sidewalks for scooters and bikes.

This a cool little park. I am used to much newer parks where we live, so it was interesting to find a park with such mature trees and foliage. This is a large park, with trails, an open grassy area, and a play structure with concrete slide. Make sure you bring some cardboard for that. The open area looks like a great place for a picnic.

Review #109 - 2018 After our adventure at the beautiful Morcom Rose Garden, we decided to find a nearby park for the baby to expense her energy before heading to lunch. We showed up around 12:15 PM & Apple map sent me to park on the upper residential area so I thought we were lost since we didn't see any kids's playground in sight. We decided to park & walk area for a bit to see if we were in the right area and luckily got on the right track. The playground is quite small, but the park is nice and clean. There are plenty of donated benches along the park for you to sit down and enjoy the view or watch the kids play. There were a lot of moms out with their little ones so my daughter had a great time playing with the other kids. It's quite a bit out of the way so we most definitely won't be coming back here anytime soon...

A view from the back of the park, toward the playground.

Great park. Lots of green area to explore with little ones. Parking is a bit of a pain as it is in the middle of a residential area.

Ask the Community - Dracena Quarry Park

Can I roller skate here? Not to do any speed racing or anything, just to practice some of my footwork in a flat smooth area where I (as a female) can feel safe at sundown?

There's a big cement loop around the grassy area in the back of the playground. Not sure how much it slopes are certain parts though if you're not comfy with braking yet and it can get busy with children playing on scooters/bikes at certain times… Read more

As many times my late husband has driven on Davis Street to head into San Leandro, I never noticed this park. The area where we were at had several picnic tables, and the traffic on Davis Street wasn't that bad. Parking lot was on the premises. Since my family, relatives and friends were just in the area next to the parking lot, I did not walk around to see the playground and other amenities at this park. The park is nice and clean, compared to a few particular parks in a city north of San Leandro. It's a great place for picnics, birthday parties and family outings on the weekends.

It is so helpful to have someone like Bfree, who has a ton of skill and experience, that can show you that next step. BFree is an amazing teacher. He is encouraging, enriching, and enhancing. As the session went on I developed more and more confidence and entered into that place were I was Savoring my grinds and feeling that flow when creating a line instead of being in the place where I'm nervous and worried that I might fall, I realized I forgot to really enjoy my experience. I love rollerblading, and Bfree showed me how to love it more. In one session the way I approach and land tricks, and the way I think about rollerblading at all has completely transformed. I'm definitely going to be a longtime student of Bfree. If you are looking to enjoy rollerblading more and also progress in your skill level, or want to develop more confidence, courage, and clarity in your rollerblading, BFree is your man. I also want to comment on the guy's character. One of the main reasons I signed up for a private lesson with Bfree was because I liked what he was doing in his community and for the rollerblading community as a whole. In BFree Blading Academy First Friday in Oakland video I saw, you could really see a genuine kindness in the guy. He is exactly like that in person. It makes me really happy knowing that the money I spend on private lessons with Bfree is going towards supporting a family man, towards benefiting the Oakland community, and towards benefiting the Rollerblading community as a whole and putting wheels under more people's feet. It's a huge accelerator honestly. After our session I honestly felt like a walked away 100 times better. On flat, on vert, on coping, on ledges, on rails... Just better at rollerblading in every way possible. He's teaching style is on point too. It was exactly everything I was hoping it would be. Rollerblading is fun. Do it. #letsgetitforever
