Had some crowns done by him and it was a very pain free experience. Not a big fan of dental work (as I'm sure most people aren't) but he explains everything. I will say that I always have to have a deep cleaning and it is not covered by my insurance so I have to pay out of pocket every time. Not a fan of that. Also was given a dental treatment plan for a crown and an implant at the astronomical charge of almost $8500 out of pocket!!! Almost passed out at the front desk!!

Earlier this year, Dr. Gendi of Dental Care of Prince Frederick burned my face with a cold testing…read moretool (it created a blister and caused the lower part of my face to go numb). The tool wasn't supposed to come in contact with my flesh. She was resting the tool against my face and made a verbal acknowledgement (like an interjection) of her error when I told her I felt the burn, and then she lifted the tool off of my face. I tried to focus on the burn and address what happened. I felt panicked and afraid. But she hurriedly (in a raised voice), urged us to continue with the procedure. She verbally pushed through me trying to bring attention to my burn multiple times. I was shocked into silence; I was a bit afraid to speak. She wasn't gentle with the area she burned afterwards either (she roughly tugged my lip out of the way to continue the procedure after injuring it.). I discovered very soon after that she lied in her clinical notes to reduce fault. I was getting Invisalign through Dental Care of Prince Frederick, but I was afraid of going back to the office after how I was treated. And soon after sending an email to the office manager asking if she knew Dr. Gendi lied in her clinical notes, I received a letter of dismissal and was offered a full refund for my Invisalign if I signed a "confidential general release of all claims." But they refused to acknowledge any kind of wrong doing. This place is not a safe dental office. I understand words aren't always sufficient when it comes to warning people about an unsafe provider, and you may want to visit for yourself. But please be aware. Advocate for yourself if you're in pain. Say something if the provider has harmed you, and request immediate treatment for the harm they caused. The mistake I made was allowing Dr. Gendi to bully/scare me into silence when I tried to immediately address that she burned me. Maybe see a doctor of YOUR choosing, if they hurt you. I advise anyone that is harmed by a dentist to make a complaint while in the office (as well as through email), try to find a lawyer, and contact the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners. Maybe you will be able to get in contact with someone who genuinely cares. Be safe.
