This place used to be good, but now it's weird and AWKWARD. They do not have an in-person doctor anymore. They put me in an exam room with a laptop to meet with a Phoenix doctor over some telehealth platform. The acoustics in the room sucked, and there wasn't a microphone to connect to the laptop. The doctor had a hard time hearing me so I had to YELL at the laptop. The walls in the office are thin so I am sure everyone else in the building heard me (awkward!). I tried typing info into the chat but the doctor (very old man) did not know how to use the chat function. Worst of all was his reaction to telling me I had leukemia. He told me I was "lucky" to have leukemia and they're "ninety percent of the way to a cure on that." I told him my last treatment predicted a 60% survival rate after six months, which I didn't consider especially "lucky." Honestly I was pretty shocked and upset at him telling me I was "lucky" to have a deadly form of cancer. And to have everyone else hear it. Dr Refferalz was great, the process was straightforward and I was able to get my card. Unfortunately what I didn't know is that when you get a MMJ med card here in Arizona you are REPORTED to the PMP (Prescription Monitoring Program) hub in AZ where EVERY SINGLE DOCTOR can see that you have a card! So imagine my surprise & devastation when my Psychiatrist called me to say she wouldn't prescribe my ADHD medication anymore because I had a medical card! It didn't matter that i was only medicating with gummies at night for bone on bone knee pain, not walking around high all the time. They don't care if you are hurting (and certainly NONE of them can be bothered to actually DO SOMETHING ABOUT MY PAIN), they don't care about any of it. So now I am completely screwed. I will get rid of the card now, taking the loss on the $ I paid for it. I never would have gotten it if I had known that we were reported for having a medical card. I don't know why this wasn't even mentioned by Dr Refferalz when I applied for the card, If they had, I would have walked right out. My life lesson in this disaster is that Honesty is absolutely NOT the best policy, I will get rid of the med card, and I will get my ADHD meds from a new Dr and continue to do the ONLY thing I have found that helps at all with my severe knee pain and continue to medicate. I'm furious about this entire situation. The lack of clarity about the card is why Dr. Refferalz got 3 stars. Tucson's location is a bit smaller but with all the comforts such as large chair, a tv showing a movie, free snacks and a mini fridge containing cold bottles of water. I took a chance with a walk in appointment and was seen after a short wait. Due to having all the paperwork I needed my visit with the doctor was fast and easy. We reviewed my symptoms and needs and he filled out all the state forms required. After paying for the visit and state fee I was on my way and will receive my card in 7-10 days. I love the offices of Dr Reeferalz because they normalize cannabis use and create a safe environment for those seeking protection from the law. Moving back to Tucson after three years in Maryland ....I looked for a MMJ doctor here in Arizona, and saw Dr Reeferalz ad on a mobile app. I made an appointment, printed out my medical records, and patiently waited for my appointment. (They do take walk ins, but I would suggest an appointment if you can). There are snacks, bottled water and an ATM in the waiting room. Part of the visit is paid in cash, the State fee can be a CC. Once I was called back, the NMD was SO nice! She took my BP, listened to my heart and lungs, and listened to me....asking questions along the way. They take care of all the paperwork the state needs for proper credentialing...and after your picture is taken, you are done. Not very helpful. I have MS which is an automatic OK for a medical marijuana card, and incurable, so one would THINK it wouldn't be a problem, just show the proof of my diagnosis. But NOOOO, I was given the usual song and dance. The card is expensive enough, I see no reason to have to pay for a "clinic" to get you approved. I refuse to pay a high price to show someone my medical history. That is RIDICULOUS!! Will hopefully just approach my PCP, but not all physicians approve of it, and the way they treat you if you ask makes that very obvious. I was hoping to avoid that. I'd been thinking about applying for a MMJ card for months. I had one in another state but, of course, I couldn't use it in Arizona. There are a lot of options in Tucson but I chose Dr. Reeferalz because it had high reviews from previous clients. Rather than do a walk-in I made an appointment. I showed up half an hour early to do paperwork and was impressed with the front-end staff, they were very friendly and helpful. The waiting area was clean, and though there were ten people there and a movie playing it wasn't noisy at all. Snacks and water were available and there was an ATM in the corner. My appointment was in the afternoon so I expected to wait, but it was only ten minutes after the scheduled time when I was called in. After getting my vitals and a picture taken I immediately saw the doctor. The doctor did a quite thorough procedure, asking what my problems were, what other treatments I had tried, how long I had had pain issues, etc. She approved me but also gave me other options that could provide relief in conjunction with medical marijuana. The doctor's visit took about twenty minutes. I was told I should have my card in the mail in 7 - 10 business days. I then went back to the front and gave a credit card to the office staff to do the state filing. It was done very quickly and, since they know what they're doing, I knew it was done correctly. When I left I was given receipts for their evaluation and the state filing, a copy of the evaluation, information on marijuana laws in Arizona, and a list of Tucson dispensaries. They also give out coupons for free stuff from different dispensaries. At the bottom of the receipt for the state filing is an ApplicationID number. My appointment was on 9/5 and when I checked the status on the state website today (9/10) it showed my application as approved by the state. There was no approved date shown, but it's only been 3 business days since my appointment. I'm now anxiously awaiting my card in the mail, which should be soon since the application showed approved. This is a huge relief, in many ways, since living with constant pain isn't fun and now I have a natural treatment option. Thank you Dr. Reeferalz for gladly answering whatever questions popped into my head while I was there and making the process so easy. This place is awesome, I called first to see if they do walk ins and they do but appointments are taken first which seems more than fair considering you set them days prior. I had paperwork from the VA stating my health conditions and my AZ drivers license and Chris(not sure on the spelling) helped through the rest of the process and answered all my questions. In total I spent about two hours there, which is way less then I'd spend at a regular doctors office even with an apt. They made it quick easy and friendly. Things to keep in mind: Bring cash, their 115 consultation fee is cash only. There is an ATM across the road but one less hurdle to jump through. Visa/MasterCard are used to pay the state application fees and they appear to be done online so you'll need both the cash/card. Call prior: they accept walk-ins Monday through Friday but if you call they'll give you an idea of how long it will take. As I said earlier Chris helped me through the whole process, and even when he was bombarded by questions from another customer he seemed happier than ever to answer them. More patient than myself. The doctor is very nice, came out sporting a Hawaiian shirt and some Jerusalem cruisers. What more could you ask for? read more

First, there is no parking, except behind the building. A whopping 5 spots. There is absolutely NO handicapped parking, so prepare yourself for a bit of a hike. We all love walking in an alley, carrying the required cash fee, in so much pain we can't think, so we can renew our medical marijuana card, to help relieve our pain... The outer lounge is nice-- comfortable chairs and nice flat screen tv's. I walked in early on a Saturday and didn't have to wait long. The ladies in the front office are extremely efficient and great to deal with. I went back and they checked my vitals. Then I walked through a bunch of empty rooms to the doctor in the back. He was an older gentleman (I believe he was a D.O.) and asked a few questions (probably between 5-10 min) and then gave the OK.
